Place marking. Hi to all, sorry I haven't been posting much. Still settling back into work after half term, which, although huge amounts of fun, wasn't exactly restful!
Seems like a lot of people are struggling at the moment.

mega I read your post on the last thread and wanted to give you a big squeeze. Apologies if you are contact-phobic, but I'm coming in anyway!
Pug A while ago, you asked after Alfie
He is doing well thanks! He's still bandaged up, but went for a dressing change on Monday and it's healing really well. He goes back again on Friday. How is your little monster?
Oyster I loved your post about meeting your DH! I met my DH on Match too, and it was the best thing I ever did! I didn't let the grass grow either
Rainy I have my fingers crossed for your results
When do you get them?
Welcome to Knickers
nympho Sorry for AF, but yay for the name change!
Queen Hope AF stays away. I remember what Knicker Watch feels like; I was Chris Packham on crack when I thought AF might be coming. Like a rare Cetti's Warbler, she's never shown her face...
Waves to everyone else Boris, Nomio, Dizzy, BabyBump and everyone that I've missed.
I have my consultant appointment tomorrow afternoon at 2pm. Hoping for clomid, but they might not offer it as we haven't been trying for a year. There is clear evidence of lack of ovulation, lack of AF and lack of just about anything else though, so I'm hoping that they will suggest something.
Have been really fed up this week, and have diverted my attentions to obsessing about getting another greyhound. I've spotted a lad on our local rescue's website and I really like the look of him. I think I just want something to mother. He is gorgeous though, and our two are 9 now, so they're not getting any younger. Trouble is, they aren't small dogs, and with the vast majority in rescue coming from a racing background, they haven't been pets in homes and have been kennelled, so take some settling in. Ours were housetrained from the off, I'm not talking about that, I mean that they are not used to anything! Stairs, televisions, hoovers, doors etc. are all strange to them! So it would be a bit of a culture shock for the greyhound and for us (especially as I'd had both of mine for nearly 4 years already when I met DH, so they were settled, confident, secure pets by then and not scared, strange ex-racers. I think that, maybe, if nothing has happened for us by the summer holidays, we might really consider it though...
We'll see.
