when do you predict you will OV Doom, can you skip a day and bd the next

I'm out btw. Been the oddest cycle ever.

doomkittycleo · 02/11/2015 13:27

I think it is today so it's today or wait till next cycle.

fuzzywuzzy · 02/11/2015 16:36

Try to bd today, but if you've been bding for the last few days you should fingers crossed be all set.

doomkittycleo · 02/11/2015 17:57

I know. He's probably sick of the sight of me by now. Will see what happens.

doomkittycleo · 02/11/2015 19:30

Probably TMI, but cooking tea wearing nothing but your best lacey lingerie and an apron puts a big smile on his face Grin.

This is our most active cycle yet SmileSmileSmile.

I expect that I ovulated today and we did O-5, 3,2,1 and O.

Ready for a rest for a few days now.

fuzzywuzzy · 02/11/2015 20:46

lol, good luck sounds you've done everything. Fingers crossed :)

doomkittycleo · 03/11/2015 06:44

Guys I'm starting to feel like all that BDing was a waste. 3 days after my positive opk and my temperature still hasn't risen Sad

fuzzywuzzy · 03/11/2015 07:53

Can you try and carry on bding every other/every three days to make sure you have all eventualities covered?

Fingers crossed for you,

doomkittycleo · 03/11/2015 08:03

I'm fed up with BDing now. Feels like that's all I've thought about for the past week Confused

fuzzywuzzy · 03/11/2015 09:10

I know what you mean.

Look at it like this if the mood takes you BD if not give skip it for a day or so.

Wish TTC was easy.

doomkittycleo · 03/11/2015 09:34

I know Smile. Think I'm going to give it a rest for the rest of this cycle. It's starting to become a chore and we have booked a snowboarding holiday for January so it's not a big deal if it doesn't happen this month.

Just want to be able to demonstrate to the GP that we have been charting so that he is more likely to take us seriously when I eventually go.

doomkittycleo · 05/11/2015 06:55

What a relief, my temperature has finally gone up. Looks like it was a gradual rise this month, rather than sudden.

Fertility friend has confirmed that I ovulated on Monday like I expected so we did BD on the right days loads. It's even given me my first High score for timing SmileSmileSmile!

Now I can ensure the rest of the 2 week wait with a little more optimism.

Rememberallball · 05/11/2015 08:17

Good news Doom. Fingers crossed its a good month for you all round.

Well, if I were charting this month is now be in the tww but, after our news 2 weeks ago at the fertility clinic, we have just dtd when we fancied (allowing for the fact that DH is on his 12th early shift in the last 13 days - and he's out of the house from 5:20am on an early) and will now wait for af to put in an appearance - or not as the case may be!!

Rememberallball · 06/11/2015 18:34

Well had a good appointment with GP this morning. He said taking B complex vitamins and upping my vit d dose won't do me any harm any may help raise my AMH levels; a repeat AMH test privately through the surgery would cost £40 but his opinion is it would make more sense to spend the money on the supplements, some wine and enjoying ourselves as he thinks that if we get improved AMH levels through supplements then we'll get pregnant!! He will support us through our continued ttc journey and will see us through any subsequent pregnancy including antenatal testing for chromosomal abnormalities and what that would lead us to do.

He did also suggest we look into both fostering and adoption as it can be as fulfilling as having your own child. However, I don't think DH is very keen on those routes in the same way he's not keen on donor egg IVF (not that we could afford it anyway!)

fuzzywuzzy · 06/11/2015 22:48

Remember that sounds really positive. Vitabiotics have offers on their website if you buy straight from them 3 vitamin packs for the price of two.

Good luck.

I'm still in the middle of AF visit tired and headachy. But quite calm about ttc for now.

How are you Doom?

doomkittycleo · 07/11/2015 02:09

Thanks for asking Fuzzy I'm full of pimples, but otherwise nothing significant. Smile

Rememberallball · 07/11/2015 13:42

Thanks, Fuzzy, I got the current lot of B Complex from Boots. Was just over £3 for 90 tablets (3 months supply) so not too expensive, though the shelf ticket said something over £4 for them. Will get multiple lots if they're on offer

doomkittycleo · 10/11/2015 07:59

Hi guys. I'm on 8dpo and had a few slight af cramps yesterday, but nothing again now. I'm not holding out too much hope. I've learned my lesson from previous cycles about that.

One of my colleagues was saying yesterday that her friend is a specialist in reproductive medicine and the new evidence is that it can take a lot longer than previously thought (up to 2-3 years) for the long term effects of the pill to reverse. So that could explain why so many people have difficulty conceiving now.

Stupid Dr's never warned us about that when we first decided to go on it

fuzzywuzzy · 10/11/2015 09:16

Doom, you're not out till AF visits.

I'm on CD 9 OPK is low, I don't mind too much as I've been suffering horrendous headaches and am totally not in the mood to bd.

doomkittycleo · 11/11/2015 17:15

Sorry for TMI but I'm at 9dpo and I've had a slight bit of diarrhoea today. I've also had a lot of af cramps too.

doomkittycleo · 12/11/2015 07:01

Temperature has dropped. So based on last month af will be here on Saturday Sad.

fuzzywuzzy · 12/11/2015 07:40

Did your temp dip at 10dpo last time as well? Keep an eye on it it might go up again. Think mine dips on day of AF, I briefly tried temping when first starting ttc

doomkittycleo · 12/11/2015 10:12

Last month it dipped at 10dpo stayed low for 2 days, then came back up slightly when af arrived.

fuzzywuzzy · 13/11/2015 14:24

Doom how are you today, is temp up?

Remember how are you doing?

I'm I think CD 13 and on second high day no peak yet.... I so hope its not a repeat of last cycle!

Rememberallball · 13/11/2015 16:24

Hi Fuzzy I'm getting on ok. 13dpo today (or is it 12? I never know whether I should count the day I get fixed smiley face as d1 or the following day) no symptoms to speak of; no adverse effects of taking my extra B complex vitamins. Am cd25 so a few more days until af is due to put in an appearance.

Also not heard anything from the hospital for my HyCoSy appointment even though I was seen by the consultant more than 3 weeks ago and she said I'd hear in a couple of weeks. Think I'll ring them on Monday or I'll miss my chance for next cycle and then it will be very close to Christmas!!
