I'm out.

Good luck Molly, remember and doom :)

doomkittycleo · 08/10/2015 22:09

Sorry Fuzzy good luck for next cycle. X

Mollydog88 · 09/10/2015 06:34

Think positive for the next one fuzzy! Still nothing either way... Cd 47. ARGH.

doomkittycleo · 09/10/2015 17:30

So fertility friend has confirmed ovulation yay! We BD'd O-6, O-3 and O-2. Now 3dpo.

Full of a stinking cold tho boo! It's supposed to be date night. I've told DP to go out with his mates cus I feel so ill.

doomkittycleo · 14/10/2015 08:54

How is everyone. It's been a little quiet for a few days. I'm 8dpo no symptoms at all, but had a stressful couple of days.

Went viewing a new car on Saturday (quite pricey but DP agreed to lend me the money to help me out). It was private sale and the checks came back a bit dodgy so walked away. Then made an appointment to view another one yesterday after work, but managed to crash my old car into another driver and write my car off.

So now lost my no claims bonus and have no choice but to get a new car. Insurance premiums look like they have shot up Sad.

At least I've not been obsessing about the tww.

fuzzywuzzy · 15/10/2015 10:41

I'm sorry to hear about your car doom, hope you find a replacement soon.

All quiet here, haven't hit my fertile window yet and I have a pap smear to look forward to this month joy of joys).

Good luck all of you on your tww. :)

Mollydog88 · 15/10/2015 15:50

Oh no! At least you'll get a new car out of it I suppose..

Finally af arrived (after a couple of days of weird brown discharge) accompanied with the worst pain I've ever had, vomiting, sweating, diarrhoea - the works!! Was almost enough to send me home from work - had to walk out of a meeting this morning! However the lump has almost disappeared so def hormone related. Follow up app with doc a week tomorrow- something definitely isn't normal!

doomkittycleo · 15/10/2015 19:34

I've paid a deposit on my new car, just got to go to Scotland to collect it on Sunday.

No symptoms yet, now 9dpo. No af symptoms yet either tho. Last cycle they started at 8dpo.

doomkittycleo · 17/10/2015 08:49

I am definitely going to recommend temping to anyone who doesn't already do it.

My temperature has dropped today right back to below the coverline and I therefore know af will be here any time. No more stressing with the am I aren't I.

It also showed me that I ovulate almost 3 days after the positive opk so have most likely been stopping BDing too soon.

It's been a real eye opener to do it and it's also reassured me that I am definitely ovulating.

If you haven't already, I suggest you give it a try. Also thanks Fuzzy for suggesting fertility friend. It's much better than the app I was using. I particularly like the detailed analysis part.

I'm not even stressed about af being due now my temperature has dropped cus I know she's coming for sure rather than wondering.

Onto the next month eh.

Good luck to everyone else in the 2ww.

fuzzywuzzy · 17/10/2015 13:29

Doom do you think the cheaper opk strips are better then? They show the line getting darker then light then disappearing, the digital ones just show fixed smiley when hormone levels go up.

I have read before now that it's best to continue bd up to three days after a positive opk.

Also did you temp same time every day and did you get a bbt thermometer?

And also good luck.

Rememberallball · 17/10/2015 15:58

Afternoon all, am now 15 or 16 dpo, cd28, and feel depressingly normal. Obviously I have no idea if I'm out yet for sure this month or not but poas yesterday and got bfn.

If the last couple of months are an indication then af is due around Monday or Tuesday; we are seeing the specialist at the NHS fertility clinic on Wednesday morning and I'm worrying that my AMH results will not be good news and that we'll be told it's not worth trying anything as only ivf would work - and I'm too old to be eligible for it on the NHS and we couldn't afford to go private either.

doomkittycleo · 17/10/2015 16:34

Fuzzy I can't really comment on the opk's as I havn't used both types in the same month to be able to compare. I was using CB dual indicator this month.

I did buy a basal body thermometer and yes I took my temperature the same time most days, one or two weekends I took it a bit late due to sleeping in, but it still gave a clear picture.

fuzzywuzzy · 20/10/2015 09:10

How is everyone?

I'm on my fifth day of high according to CBAFM. Which is beginning to annoy me, last month I hit peak on day 10 I think today is day 13 and still got a high, day number 5 of high fertility days.

Rememberallball · 20/10/2015 13:40

Well, I'm out for this month.

Seeing specialist at the hospital tomorrow morning so am hoping that she offers us some hope that we've not been wasting our time for the last 14 months. I'm just worried that she'll tell us there isn't anything she can offer us other than IVF which we aren't eligible for on the NHS (my age) and can't afford on our salaries.

Will report back after our appointment tomorrow.

How is everyone else?

fuzzywuzzy · 20/10/2015 14:12

Remember good luck with the consultants appointment. Hopefully there are other options for you.

Not sure if this will help, but a close friend of mine had IVF in America, she went out with her husband to have it there as it is a lot cheaper in the States in comparison to here. She has a gorgeous little girl who turned one this year.

Good luck and keep us updated on your appointment.

Rememberallball · 21/10/2015 11:28

Well we're back from clinic and the news isn't good. My AMH level is only 1.85 which is bad; though my d2 fsh level was 11 which is a lot better than expected. Basically I'm unlikely to get pregnant with my own eggs but it's not impossible. She agreed to me having HyCoSy and is sending the form over to the hospital for that but more from the point of having done everything possible to help us accept the situation than to have a useful purpose. She said nature may be kind to us and a decent quality egg might meet her sperm but it will be a miracle if it does.

I'm working the rest of today by will definitely be off out for a drink or two this evening.

fuzzywuzzy · 22/10/2015 17:54

Remember, sit tight and see what happens with the new referral. Fingers crossed for you.

Molly & Doom how are you both doing?

I'm on CD 15 & no peak yet, wandering what's going on, I normally get a peak reading on CD 13 I think is latest 10 is about average.

Hope everyone's ok.

Rememberallball · 23/10/2015 09:09

DH and I have chatted about our options and decided we're stopping everything like opk's, temping and the like and also decided that, although we'll look into donor ivf, we had said it was a route we wouldn't go down due to cost so probably won't persue it.

The HyCoSy will hopefully be next month if they can fit us in at the right point in my cycle.

fuzzywuzzy · 23/10/2015 16:26

Remember have you tried taking vitamin b6 complex? It's supposed to lower high FSH levels and increase AMH levels.
Take it from first day after af is finished.

Not sure if this helps.

fuzzywuzzy · 23/10/2015 16:31

Actually ignore that it lowers FSH.
Hope the next step makes things more clearer. If you want me to I can ask friend where she got her ivf and how much, she couldn't get it on NHS as she is classified as obese, she's 38.

doomkittycleo · 23/10/2015 18:41

I'm ok Fuzzy thanks for asking. Been offline since the witch got me cus I've had other things on my mind. Had to have an interview for my own job today because it's a temporary contract and I need the permanent position.

My employer didn't communicate very well so everything ended up being very rushed. Won't find out till Monday/Tuesday.

On CD6 today so not in fertile week yet. With all of the stress of the crash and the interview and everything else my head's up my arse anyway so having even thought about the TTC stuff.

Rememberallball · 23/10/2015 20:20

Hi fuzzy, if you could ask your friend that would be great. I was so pleased as my weight took my bmi under 30 so would have been fine for Clomid if offered - which it wasn't!!

I have to go shopping tomorrow so will go into Holland & Barrett and see about getting some B6 complex. I might ask my gp about repeating my AMH levels in 3 months time if I can - he may agree if I pay for it!!

Mollydog88 · 23/10/2015 20:32

So - I got engaged this week!!! I think the ttc is on hold for a while now while we plan the next big adventure...the best of luck to all of you and I'm sure I will be back soon!!

doomkittycleo · 24/10/2015 07:25

Oh congratulations Molly that's fab news.

Annie0369 · 24/10/2015 10:06

I'm on cycle #1 TTC, don't think I've been successful this month but really glad there's other people in the same boat.

Huge congratulations Molly xxx
