Meant my Molly not milky!

doomkittycleo · 04/10/2015 08:37

I'm ok Fuzzy just a bit unsure if I'm about to ovulate or already have. Have done lots of BDing so pretty optimistic. Will try once more tomorrow.

Mollydog88 · 04/10/2015 18:24

Still time fuzzy, keep positive! Hope you're feeling better soon.

Still no af and no bfp - cd44 now! Given up trying to make sense of everything that's going on and just hoping it's coming off the pill and will settle down soon. Only time will tell!

Everyone had a good weekend?

doomkittycleo · 04/10/2015 19:22

I'm feeling a bit stressed now, ewcm has gone from eggwhite for 2 days Tuesday and Wednesday, then creamy for about 3-4 days, yet opk went positive this morning. My temperature has been 36.3 yesterday and today from 36.1 the day before and 36.0 the day before that. I had one day of 36.2 on Wednesday. We BD'd on Sunday last week, Wednesday and yesterday.

I am totally flummoxed about if I have indeed ovulated yet or not. My app says that I ovulated on Tuesday, but I think that's unlikely given everything else.

Can any of you make any sense of that?

fuzzywuzzy · 04/10/2015 19:52

grapefruit is meant to help fertile ewcm, the OPK's are measuring the hormones and can only tell us we've had the hormone surge or not. only a scan could tell us if we have actually ov'ed I suppose. Keep Bd'in for a couple of days just cover all bases and fingers crossed.

I'm sos sorry you're cycles are so confusing Molly, do you think your GP would refer you to see what's causing the proglonged cycles?

In a twisted way it makes me laugh (bitterly) that I've spent my life time trying to avoid getting pregnant, when it's so bloody hard getting pregnant.

Thank you Molly you are right, not out till af shows.

Hope you all have a lovely peaceful evening.

Mollydog88 · 04/10/2015 20:28

I'm going to go back this week- just found a fairly large tender lump at the bottom of my breast as well and after the initial terror, I'm wondering if this is something hormonal too? Something definitely isn't right.

fuzzywuzzy · 04/10/2015 20:33

Molly I hope everything goes well at docs. Just a note of reassurance, I have a blocked milk duct under my arm, it's harmless but it gets a little swollen and tender post ov phase then disappears cd1. Go offered to have it removed (was discovered years ago), but I didn't want to undergo an op.

When I had dd1 it swole up like crazy when my milk came in and was v scary. But went down as I bathed it in warm salt water and nursed dd.

Hope everything is well and please let us know how you get on at docs.

Mollydog88 · 04/10/2015 20:48

Thanks so much - I'm sure it's fine and related to hormones but always scary. Feeling rubbish tonight anyway and really teary so always makes things worse. Thanks for being so lovely

doomkittycleo · 05/10/2015 08:06

Can any of you make sense of that temperature chart Confused

Rememberallball · 05/10/2015 08:51

Morning all. Well, I'm now in my 13th monitored tww since starting out ttc journey. I never thought it would take so long when we started out last year. We have to see the specialist again in 2 weeks time and are following the advice given at the last appointment and carrying on dtd for 7 days post +ve opk. Ironic that I could be in a position to poas the week of the appointment so, technically, might not need to go! ! Then my sensible head jumps out and says that's unlikely given we've not had any luck in the last year and my age etc!!

We are desperate not to symptom spot this month butmI'm sure I will anyway. Oh, and I just ordered an industrial quantity of poas tests from Amazon!!

cocothomas1234 · 05/10/2015 12:09

Hello all! Molly tender is a good sign, it's the ones that don't hurt that are generally the bigger worry and even then it's incredibly rare to have anything to worry about in our age ranges. I found a lump last year and cried my way through the breast unit and it turned out to be a lump of fat! Let us know how you get on and I know staying calm is easier said than done but you have nothing to worry about xxxx

doomkittycleo · 06/10/2015 06:42

Omg guys I'm really frustrated now. My temperature has dropped back down to 35.9 now. My positive opk was Sunday and last day of ewcm was last Wednesday. Does this mean I havn't ovulated.

Feel like I want to cry. Sad

fuzzywuzzy · 06/10/2015 06:48

I don't know anything about temping, but isn't there a temp dip if implantation occurs?

Remember good luck on your tww

Molly how did you get on at the docs?

doomkittycleo · 06/10/2015 07:41

Fuzzy, thanks for your response. I doubt it will be an implantation dip as I only had a positive opk on Sunday.

Anyone else familiar with temping?

fuzzywuzzy · 06/10/2015 08:38

Doom try recording your temp data on fertility friends. I think the app explains how it works as well.

I can't temp I never remember to temp when I wake up and wake up at all different times.

Mollydog88 · 06/10/2015 08:51

Fuzzy my appointment is at 10 today, had to take time off work cos they couldn't get me in for another two weeks and I just couldn't stand worrying for that long! Will let you know.

Mollydog88 · 06/10/2015 12:06

So doctor thinks it's probably glandular tissue and related to hormones and wants to see me in two weeks when hopefully I should have had a period and if it's still the same she will refer me for a scan. she said it doesn't feel like it's attached to anything but also doesn't feel smooth. Another 'wait and see' situation!

fuzzywuzzy · 06/10/2015 14:29

Molly that sounds positive right?

My friend also had a lump she found around same time I found mine we both ended up having biopsies hers was a lump of fat (lovely). Mine is related to hormonal changes, right up to OV it is completely not there, then during the luteal phase it gets tender and slightly swollen.

If you're unhappy with the diagnosis, can you ask for a biopsy (it is not fun having a needle stuck there).

So sorry your going thro this.

Mollydog88 · 06/10/2015 15:13

Definitely does sound positive and makes perfect sense that it's only appeared with these weird long cycles. I'm sure it's fine but glad to be booked in again; might help get to the root of these long cycles as well!

Just had an abscess on my wisdom tooth drained too. It was disgusting. This week's not going too well!!

doomkittycleo · 06/10/2015 20:09

Fuzzy, thanks for the heads up on fertility friend. I've been using ovuview since starting ttc in January, but having checked fertility friend out it really is a much better app. I've just spent 2 and a half hours transferring my data over to it, but it says that due to varying cycle lengths it is struggling to give an accurate analysis.

It also says that it my temperatures are fluctuating quite a lot which could be due to having been on the pill before.

I'm having quite a lot of ovulation pains this evening so maybe I havn't ovulated yet. If I go by the opk I could be ovulating now.

Will update you once I have tomorrow's temperature.

doomkittycleo · 07/10/2015 06:40

Ok I'm absolutely made up. My temperature has just shifted was above the coverline. I must've ovulated yesterday. That's surprisingly a whole 36 hours after the positive opk.

We last BD'd on Sunday night so have a decent chance. Smile

Smile
doomkittycleo · 07/10/2015 06:42

Duh 60 hours not 35, I shouldn't try doing maths at 6:40am.

Rememberallball · 07/10/2015 21:25

Evening all,

Well, I've got DH flummoxed!! For the first time since I've know him I said that bubbly doesn't taste wonderful and I was unsure if I wanted a second glass Shock

It is unheard of that I don't enjoy champagne, cava or prosecco. Never have I refused a second glass (and I'm not refusing now but I'm certainly not enjoying it as much as usual, and I've had virtually no alcohol since we got back from our honeymoon almost 2 weeks ago).

+ve opk was 5-6 days ago so far too early to be experiencing any sort of symptoms as I'm unlikely to have even implanted yet.

I blame DH and his active imagination!!

fuzzywuzzy · 08/10/2015 05:04

Remember, I think fingers crossed that is looking very promising! When do you plan on testing?

Rememberallball · 08/10/2015 12:04

Hi fuzzy, as I'm only a few dpo I was thinking it would probably be best to wait at least another week before I poas. The last 2 cycles I've ov'd later in my cycle than previously (cd 14 rather than cd10) and my complete cycle has been 30 days not 26; because of this I think it's better that I want until I'm nearer the predicted end of my cycle to poas. CD30 is the 19th so at least another 10 days to wait.

I was so determined not to look for potential symptoms this month especially as we have our next appointment with the fertility specialist at the hospital on the 21st.
