Thanks everyone!
So sorry Doom. I'm sure that BFP is just itching to be with you really soon

doomkittycleo · 22/09/2015 11:32

I only took b6 for 6 weeks and stopped 3 months ago cus it made me feel ill. Think my luteal phase has lengthened on its own tbh.

doomkittycleo · 22/09/2015 11:33

Oops, thought that first message hadn't sent

doomkittycleo · 22/09/2015 11:34

Thanks red

handbags88 · 22/09/2015 17:34

Sorry to hear that Doom. Good news that your luteal phase has lengthened though x

fuzzywuzzy · 25/09/2015 12:22

Doom it does sound positive about your literal phase. Fingers crossed each cycle is one nearer our bfps.

Hope everyone is doing well.

fuzzywuzzy · 25/09/2015 12:23

Luteal damn autocorrect

doomkittycleo · 26/09/2015 08:33

Thanks fuzzy, I've decided to start temping this month in the hope of confirmation ovulation as I've been using just opk's until now.

I've also spoken to DP about getting an at home sperm count kit from boots if nothing happens in the next couple of cycles. He seemed ok about that.

Rememberallball · 26/09/2015 09:36

Morning all. Sat on ship in Southampton wait to disembark and head home from our honeymoon. No little surprises coming back with us unfortunately - af arrived 4 days later than usual (though was expecting it to as ov was 4 days later too) not only on my new husband's birthday but also the day we visited Rome. Was short and sweet at only 3 full days so didn't put too much of a dampner on the holiday.

We are seeing the specialist again in 3 1/2 weeks time with results of bloods and scans so will know soon if they think it's a matter of time or a case of giving meds a try or if we just give up.

How is everyone doing?

fuzzywuzzy · 26/09/2015 10:15

Remember is af usually that short for you? Did you do a htp?

All quiet here, got peak on my monitor yesterday morning so tww begins in a couple of days. I am however determined to be happy and enjoy being with DP regardless. I've found I've started only wanting to dtd during my fertile window which is not romantic or fair on DP or good for our relationship. So I'm going to try and relax (hah so easy to type so hard to do).

fuzzywuzzy · 26/09/2015 10:15

Forgot to say, hope you had an amazing honeymoon Remember :)

Mollydog88 · 27/09/2015 18:13

35 days into next cycle after last month's ridiculously long one- and nothing. Had cramps for a week, so strong today that I had to sit down in the shower but no bleeding and no bfp. What is my body doing?!?

fuzzywuzzy · 28/09/2015 09:00

Molly were you on contraceptives prior to ttc? How long have you been off them?

Do you think it would be worth asking for a referral to a ob gynea to check you over if this cycle goes on for too long?

I'm not an expert but I don't think you should be in so much pain.

I'm in tww now. twiddling thumbs and trying not to symptom spot.

Mollydog88 · 28/09/2015 16:58

Fingers crossed fuzzy!

Was on the combined pill for about 5 years, then was switched to the mini pill after migraines - didn't get on with it at all so came off completely after 2months - that was at the end of Feb, so been off about 7months. Took about 6 weeks to get a period initially (no withdrawal bleed at all) then has been fairly regular 30-33 days up until last month. Never really suffered with pain like yesterday though!! Could it still be settling down after the pill do you think?!

doomkittycleo · 28/09/2015 20:29

Molly, you sound a bit like me. My last cycle was 35 days and I had really bad period pains. I think it's just my body settling down from the pill. I'm at the start of cycle 10 now.
Just booked a snowboarding holiday to take my mind off things Smile!

Rememberallball · 29/09/2015 00:25

Morning all from the night shift! !

Fuzzy, af can be that short in length but, if it is, it's usually more uncomfortable and heavier with more clots. I did poas the day af started which was -ve I've not tested again since but don't feel any different to normal so don't feel the need to poas again.

fuzzywuzzy · 29/09/2015 08:02

Molly I did not get on with hormone contraceptives, I used to suffer from severe migraines so I gave up on them before really starting. As Doom reckons this is normal, then keep an eye on things, but I'd keep perstering the GP if they remain painful.

Remember, ah ok, I was hoping you were this cycles BFP :)

Fingers crossed everyone.

Mollydog88 · 30/09/2015 16:32

Thanks guys - really hoping it is just still an effect of coming off the pill! Already had an ultrasound/swabs/internal exam/blood tests which were all fine so it's got to be pretty unlikely to be anything serious I'm guessing! Never thought it would take that long to settle after the pill, wish I'd never gone on the bloody thing!!

doomkittycleo · 30/09/2015 21:59

Molly, the Dr has done all of those tests and you've only been trying for 7 months. I havn't even been yet because everyone told me they wouldn't do any checks until a year.

I've been reading up on follicle development and apparently it can take up to 300 days for a follicle to reach full maturity so perhaps the pill had left them in a dormant state.

My cycles are starting to confuse me. After last months 35 day cycle, this month I'm on CD9 and have had ewcm today already. DP has gone to his mates, but I managed to persuade him to BD before he went out.

I'm temping this month to see if it tells me a bit more about what my body is doing

fuzzywuzzy · 01/10/2015 05:32

Molly it does sound good that everything has been checked.

Doom, I've found I tend to ov in a window from anytime being CD 10 to CD 13 I think was he latest. Could that be what's happening with you?I've read that stress and medication can effect ov.

doomkittycleo · 01/10/2015 10:59

I'm not particularly stressed or on medication at the moment, but my cycles have varied from 25-35 days since stopping the pill.

Mollydog88 · 01/10/2015 17:21

It was as a result of suspected appendicitis that I ended up having all the tests done - lucky in a sense! Last month lasted 63 days and on Cd40 now and absolutely nothing...see what happens I guess!

doomkittycleo · 02/10/2015 07:51

Really frustrating; I thought I was going to ovulate early this month as I had a bit of ewcm on Tuesday and Wednesday, but now it's gone back to creamy but I have had negative opk's the past 2 days. I'm only on CD11 tho and last cycle was 35 days.

Wish my periods were regular so I knew when to BD, we can't keep up with BDing all the time, it becomes a chore Sad

doomkittycleo · 04/10/2015 07:35

Hi guys. So after a 35 day cycle last month and a 33 day cycle the month before, I've just had a solid smiley face today at 13dpo, we have BD'd every 3 days for the last few days too Smile. Ewcm seemed to disappear on Wednesday tho Confused.

fuzzywuzzy · 04/10/2015 07:47

Good luck Doom.

Milky how are you?

I'm 8/9 dpo and tested bfn today. Haven't been well either.
