Oops! Thanks fuzzy for telling Diana - I thought you could use left over sticks with a new digital holder! Ignore me diana!
It's nearly the weekend Smile, it's been a long week

DarlingBudsOfMay · 04/06/2015 20:36

Hi diamond I am currently on my first 2ww at the mo. AF due around 11th (couldn't help but buy the preggo tests just in case lol).

I feel very positive too and I am sending positive BFP and anti-AF vibes out to all of you.

my plan is to make sure we dtd at least twice a week as Ive heard the little swimmers can survive up to 7days but not sure if this is true?

birchygoo · 04/06/2015 20:39

hi all, Diana such a lovely post thank you.

diamond never give up hope, not sure what bus it was on but someone got their bfp at 44 after 5 years of trying - not that its going to take you that long - I just want to show there is always hope!

so I can poas tomorrow morning or not again to Tue night/ wed morning. AF due Tue. am away with work during this time. would you test tomorrow?

feel nadda, not a dicky bird of any symptoms!

diamondsparkles · 04/06/2015 21:17

darling - positive feelings are very good, thank you for the vibes Smile. Are you waiting til the 11th to test? I'm not sure on how long they can survive - I think it varies man to man but I've seen 3-5 days as the norm when I've been reading stuff about it, but I'm not an expert!
Thanks birchy - you always say nice things x
I would test but then I'm a terrible poas-aholic- it would be early though so if it was bfn it wouldn't mean it's a definite. No symptoms is a good sign!!
Where's our lucky mascot haquoi - are you okay?! X

DianaOstara · 04/06/2015 22:03

Hmmm...thanks for replies ladies. That's so annoying...if I use the five sticks now, il have to start a new pack on CD14 and have to restart with a blank circle - they really know how to get your pennies don't they?!!

birchy I found testing this month really helped me not to symptom spot so I probably would test!

Hi darling I've heard good things about sperm survival rate! Good luck for this month :)

Rememberallball · 04/06/2015 22:53

Evening all.

Diamond, I'm making the most of af and having a glas or three of red wine this evening. Cooking a late dinner for DP and I for when he gets home from work tonight and have filled in the consent forms for the Clearblue trial, now just got to get DP to scan them into the system before he goes to work tomorrow morning.

I do feel more positive that this month will be good for us, will be a more normal length - and that my d21 bloods will show ovulation. Oh, and that I will get the referral through to the gynae specialist quickly.

DP still looks like a peacock strutting his stuff at his SA results - I just told him he's full of it!!

On another good note (we have to take whatever good news we can however far removed from ttc it is, don't we!!) my car went through its MOT today with just a couple of very minor requirements (a couple of new bulbs and a new number plate) for it to pass. And it leaves some very needed money in the bank account ready for the wedding in September!!

browneyedgirl86 · 04/06/2015 23:00

Hi everyone,

First of a huge congratulations to haquoi ! I am so pleased to you.

Sorry I haven't been around, we have had a bereavement so we only dtd once when I was ov so the chances of me being pregnant are slim! Af is due in 3 days but not expecting anything.

How is everyone else?

haquoi123 · 05/06/2015 07:52

brown, I'm so so sorry to hear about your bereavement Flowers I hope you and dp have support. Good to have you back, I was thinking about you a lot.

diamond I'm here! I've been lurking - had some very light spotting yesterday and completely freaked out, (despite knowing it's normal!) but it's fine now so I'm back to my calm (:s) self. Don't beat yourself up lovely. But I know what you mean about anniversaries. Should we have a little anniversary party on 13th June? Lots of Flowers, Cake & Wine and whatever other emoticons there are! Flip the finger at that date and go 'screw you!'?

I really hope the she-oak helps Diana, you're right, it would fit in with your regime really well :)

Good morning everyone.

Brown I'm sorry for your loss.

Haquoi, glad you're OK.

Still BFN here, af due maybe tomorrow or sunday (cycle has been varying between 24/25 days, normally it's 25 days tho). I can't quite let go of a small bit of hope tho. If this cycle ends I'll be joining hte she-oak club. I feel so tightly wound up with this and a few other things.

So glad for the weekend I want to just sleep.

diamondsparkles · 05/06/2015 09:06

Morning everyone!
remember - hope you enjoyed your wine and had a lovely evening. Glad you're feeling positive, that's really good. Lol at your dh strutting! Mine would be exactly the same! Great news about your MOT too, I always hate taking my car in for stuff like that, a couple of weeks ago mine cost bloody £190 so I wasn't impressed!
brown so sorry to hear of your bereavement, hope you are as okay as you can be x
haquoi - glad you're calm again, spotting is completely normal, shows your little bean is burrowing in well Smile . Thank you, yes a little anniversary party sounds good, will help me deal with it Smile - definitely flip the finger at it!
fuzzy - sorry for bfn but you're not out yet. Fingers crossed for you
I will be buying some she-oak too, I am wound up too so hopefully it will sort us out Smile

findingmyfeet12 · 05/06/2015 09:49

Sorry to hear about your loss Brown. Glad you've joined us again though.

I think I would have panicked too Haquoi. What usually happens after a BFP - do you have to inform your GP straight away?

Most of us seem to be feeling positive again. Funny how our emotions change so quickly.

haquoi123 · 05/06/2015 09:58

finding it depends on where you are, but essentially make an appointment with your GP and they'll refer you to midwives. We can self refer to midwives where I live though, and they'll give you a booking in appointment. I'm getting an early scan though as I'm high risk (because of Marvy) so next week fingers crossed I'll get to see my petit pois!

fuzzy I'm sorry you're feeling so tired! Have you had a busyweek?

Anyone else timing into their bbc music day? I've got a couple of things I'm so just sitting here, listening and waiting!

diamondsparkles · 05/06/2015 10:22

haquoi - let us know your scan date! Our first thread scan, exciting times! Grin

dora1981 · 05/06/2015 11:48

Thanks for the invite Diamond. Nice to be on a thread with good news stories, even if I an barely read the screen through tears and snot! Keeping positive. . . not so easy! CD1 - and the fun starts all over again!
Looking forward to getting to know you all! x

fuzzywuzzy · 05/06/2015 14:45

Just an all round busy stressful week has culminated in a me sending out budgets with expectations of 187% this afternoon... My manager wouldn't stop laughing at me and DP came by to tell me he found it unfair that I expected his division to have a target budget of 187%!!! (we work in the same company)

I am so ready to go home now!

And its so hot/muggy and I'm so warm anyway.

diamondsparkles · 05/06/2015 14:49

Hi dora! Welcome to this lovely thread. I well understand the tears and snot. Try and keep positive, a new cycle and a new start, this could be the one! Looking forward to getting to know you too Smile. How long have you been ttc? X
fuzzy Grin, think it might be time for you to head home! It is the weekend after all! Yey for the weekend ladies Smile

hewy · 05/06/2015 16:45

Afternoon all. fuzzy I've had a terrible week at work too and think stress will leave my uterus in knots. Hope you get to relax over the weekend. I'm off to the zoo tomorrow. Excited!! Expecting AF today or tomorrow. No sign yet but bfn this afternoon, so not hopeful. The last 3 tests I've broken open and pulled the strip out so I can hold it up to the window to see ... nothing... it turns out! I spend a disproportionate amount of time staring at empty boxes. Also noticed that staring at the control line imprints a line on my eye so when I look at the test box, the fake line from my eye is there making me think I see a line. Oh boy. I'm driving myself mad! Anyone else doing mad things, or is it just me?!
Hi to Dora and Darling and nice to see you back Brown!

fuzzywuzzy · 05/06/2015 18:08

Hewy I feel like that too.

Think I will invest in she-oak especially if it has a calming effect, normally take starflower oil which seems to keep my moods steady but can't past ov as we're TTC.

If you want a good laugh about the budgets fiasco, whilst I was drawing up the report I was showing my assistant (want her to be able to handle it if needs), & she asked 'have you ever got this wrong?' To which I replied 'not yet'.... Ten seconds later I did! At least hopefully she won't feel so worried about producing the report.

fuzzywuzzy · 05/06/2015 18:09

Meant to add hope you have a relaxing weekend Hewy & everyone. If the sunshine I'm planning on errrr doing the laundry!!!

DarlingBudsOfMay · 05/06/2015 18:41

So sorry for your loss Brown hope you're okay.

Thanks Diana and Diamond Smile I'm thinking I might test the weekend but don't know if it's a good idea or not. I haven't got any symptoms nor nuffin.

Hi hewy you're not the first to "see" lines and won't be the last Grin we've all done it!

The sun is shining in South Wales (at the moment) so I'm in the garden with a cuppa and the cat - OH has gone to Cardiff to watch Manic Street Preachers (or One Direction, as they are there too and I didnt actually see his ticket Hmm

Have a lovely weekend y'all

diamondsparkles · 05/06/2015 20:30

hewy - I do all those crazy things every single month!! Drive myself insane looking at the tests and there's never a line but I always half convince myself there is and it goes on and on!! I stare at them for ages and ages, it's so sad of me! Zoo tomorrow - exciting!! I love going to the zoo!! Fingers crossed for you if you test in the morning.
fuzzy - love your budgets fiasco story!!
darling - that sounds a lovely evening Smile, enjoy! I've just cleaned the house so now relaxing with a cuppa too.
Have a lovely evening everyone x

DianaOstara · 06/06/2015 06:55

I broke open a fair few pg tests last month too Blush! I don't know about 'bodies doing weird things' maybe 'women doing crazy things to pee sticks' would be more apt!

Good luck hewy, fuzzy, brown and birchy for testing and/or getting through the weekend af-free!

I've started my OPKs anyway, two Os yesterday and today (CD10 today) which ties in with my fertility sign tracking (cm, temperature and cervical position!).

diamondsparkles · 06/06/2015 07:45

Grin diana - you could be right with that one!! Glad it's not just me!
Good luck everyone - fingers crossed for you.
Happy weekend everyone x

Red193 · 06/06/2015 07:50

Hi everyone! Sorry been manic the last few days! CD10 so almost in my fertile window! Temperature remaining pretty constant at between 36.4 and 36.6 CF becoming stickier each day. Husband goes on to night shifts tomorrow and we are at a wedding today. Positive thing is I don't drink a lot anyway and he can only have a couple because of work tomorrow but lots of DTD each night before he goes to work!

diamondsparkles · 06/06/2015 07:53

Morning red - sounds like you're going to be busy in the red household in the next few days!! Have fun!
