Here's our shiny new thread continuing from the old 'who wants to buddy up' thread (sorry, don't know how to link). I'm sure some regulars will be along in a minute and also anyone else who is ttc and would like some company is very welcome to join- we're very friendly!

Mrs sorry to hear it was a BFN, but if AF isn't here yet you could still be in with a chance. And Nicky too, the taste thing sounded very positive, have you still got it? Also if your using digitals Mrs I think they are 25mlU so not that sensitive, on the day my period was due I only had the faintest faint line on a 10mlU test, nothing would have shown on a digi.

Duck fantastic that the line is getting darker!!! Im so hopeful that this is the one for you!!! I'm currently counting down the days to my 8 week scan on Monday. x

Quick update from me...af arrived yesterday ?????? so onwards and upwards to ttc this month....fingers crossed for you both violet and duck...

Nicky sorry about AF. Mine started today too. Have promised myself that I will give it a really good go next month (DTD)!!
My husband turns 30 soon, so we will be having lots of lovely celebrations.
Have you worked out how many days your cycle is/will be?

Duck I'm gutted for you, I can't believe this is now the 4th (?) time! I'm glad they are keeping a close eye on you.

I've had a really hard few days with two funerals to attend. I'm feeling completely down and have been hitting the gin, so feeling even more sorry for myself!!

mrs I'm cd7 today and last times cycle was 31 days so I will go with that this time I think so I think I completely missed ov last month as think it was later...I'm using just really cheap pounds hop opks which are good but think it's just pinpointing ov which I'm struggling with...according to my app ov starts next Tuesday so think from weekend I will just do tests everyday and it may help if we dtd a bit more lol (which will be music to oh ears) haha I just haven't the energy!!!!!

Yes Nicky DTD is pretty much the only way to go about it!! Even if opks don't show anything. I had a whole cycle without a single opk+ so I didn't bother with them after that!

Duck what time is your scan? hope you are as ok as you can be. So so sorry though this is so cruel!!! Hope you will get the investigations that you need so you can find out what is going on. Will be thinking of you today xxx

Had my scan at 7:30pm last night, baby is gorgeous and has a good strong heart beat. She measured me as 8+1 and EDD is 12th of June. I was absolutely terrified as I had completely prepared myself for it to be bad news. Starting to slowly feel a little more real now!! Mrs I've put a photo on the June antenatal thread, were on the 3rd thread now and its on page 8.

Mrs Nicky good luck as you re-enter your fertile windows!! Nicky just try as much as possible throughout the whole month, the month I got pregnant I didn't think I'd ov'd as only got a slight line on an cheapy opk the one day and never got any line whatsoever on my clear blue ov test.

Violet that's great news! I feel really encouraged! Now I know what is supposed to be seen at an eight week scan!! I'm thrilled about the heartbeat too!

Duck, how many weeks and days from LMP are you , I would think if less than 4 weeks its entirely probable that they couldn't see anything at all. And hcg was trickling up at first but now it seems to be going up at a more reasonable pace, doesn't it?? What a mystery!! I really hope its the latter for you!!!

After having my reassurance scan on Monday, I started spotting brown blood on Tuesday and its continuing today. Just a very small amount of brown blood on a pad and when I wipe, but obviously I'm worried about what it could lead to. So I've got another scan booked on Saturday at 12:45.

Oh Violet please keep us updated. After hearing the heartbeat you have such a good chance of everything being OK, but I know how worried you must be.

Started bleeding red blood today, so moved my scan forward to this afternoon. Baby looks fine, heart beating and has grown from 16mm on Monday to 19.5mm today. She could not find any cause for my bleed and there was no blood near to the baby. And the bleeding seems to have stopped now. Really thought that was it today, so very relieved tonight!

Duck oh gosh didn't realise you would be 6 weeks already. Are you ok?Is there any update, do they still think its ectopic? Thinking of you sweet xxx

Oh Violet thank god for that!! So pleased for you hun! I'm glad you can relax tonight.

I remember when I got pregnant I was worried every single day! If/when it happens again I think it'll be even worse!

cd7 for me today, and i plan to enjoy some mulled wine this weekend while I still can (this better be the month for me cause I'm going a bit crazy and starting to get down about it all!) xxxx

Oh Mrs don't get down! just give yourself the best chance you can with lots of dtd throughout the whole cycle. I'd also quite rate pre-seed as the month I conceived I used it for every dtd not just the ones I thought were the "important" ones! It took me 7 months you will get there!! and probably much quicker than that!!

Hi guys..

vi so happy to hear everything is ok with little one. I started bleeding at 12 weeks with my last one and it didn't stop till week 20 and they had no explanation at all. Fx everything is plain sailing from here on.

mrs I'm feeling bit the same as you...fed up and thinking is it ever going to happen again. I'm 8 months since I had coil removed but only really had 3 proper periods since so fx it happens for us both soon xx

Just googling pre seed. Don't know what it is!
