Mummyofonesofar · 25/05/2015 09:29

Congratulations oyster !!!!

Hairstylisttoboris · 25/05/2015 09:40

oyster!!!wooo hooooooooo so pleased for you.

Sammy sorry for the comments you get, insensative crap.,

So we got over our argument yesterday and DTD this morning in a non ttc way. It has reminded me (thanks to purdie) that we do need to book relate before little boris comes into the equation.

Pixa · 25/05/2015 09:42

Eskimo - Surely it would be Wellman tablets? We have the preconception care his and her tablets, so DH has the wellman ones too.

Glittery before we started TTCing, my mum, Nan and I all went wedding shopping and saw four magpies. My Nan has been knitting blue blankets since... SmileHmm

How are you today, DizzyM?

Boris, just seen your update, so pleased you are much better now. Relate sounds like the best option.

Pug I hope your bum was firmly planted on a pillow last night! I am pleased that's what you picture about my and DHs families, usually people picture a bag of crazy. Grin. We have a video of the guy doing the ice cream thing in the Maldives but not sure how to put videos on here. It was so much fun. I would happily be the bumsnet Nigella (without the coke or abuse though).

Frog It sounds like you are so well prepared! Best of luck to you.

Queen sorry for the baby bomb. Sad
Your weekend and upcoming week sound lovely though.

Sammy 't is utter crap when they try to be supportive but don't understand how too. My lovely mum keeps saying "It just takes time". Hmm

Purdie Your chart still seems so lovely!

Woolly does 4pm exist?! Shock

Night and autonomousplum how are you all?

Where is Juney?

Thanks Fififolle, Frog, Woolly, DizzyM, it was a lovely day. If it's warm out again

Pixa · 25/05/2015 09:43

Silly phone... If it's warm out again, I have every intention of repeating yesterday. Although our barbecue is a bit big for two.

What is everyone else doing today?

purdiepie · 25/05/2015 09:59

Th'Eskimo, I think it's Wellmenz pilz innit.

Pixa, Juney isn't ttc at the moment and is ecstatically ensconced in a Geordie bubble of luuuuurve. Your ice cream method had me drooling!
Today I am going to th'Asda and emailing my IVF application form to Gennet Smile

Bozzer Flowers

Pug, did you know I love you? True dat.

fififolle · 25/05/2015 10:06

Congratulations Oyster superb news, so happy for you xx

ThePug · 25/05/2015 10:40

Oyster you did it! And that's a fantastically clear line, huge huge huge congratulations! So happy for you Smile

I've just got up so will be back in a bit for more chitchat

frogbubbles · 25/05/2015 10:53

Oyster!!!! Wahey!! Brilliant news my lovely Smile right off to inform MrF he better get a holiday booked!! For our ttc attempts next month.

Ah sammy bless you, that must get rather tedious. I'm sure they mean well.

Wear lilac day originated from Terry Prachett's book discworld it's for supporting Alzheimer's. I took a bunch of lilacs for my nan, to show our support and she loves the!! Smile

Pixa thank you lovely one, I love the nan knitting!!

glitteryflange · 25/05/2015 10:54

Oyster! Congratulations! Grin

DizzyMerry · 25/05/2015 12:06

Oyster what a great start to the new bus! congratulations Cake

Boris sorry I missed your post yesterday. I'm pleased that you've made up and you can make that first step to improve things between you long term Flowers

Pixa we dtd again last night and thankfully I enjoyed it as did DH. Hope the weather stays nice for you.

We're off out for a meal with the in laws tonight. I'm looking forward to a lovely evening.

purdiepie · 25/05/2015 12:28

Oyster, what position was your cervix the past couple of days?

nightandthelight · 25/05/2015 12:28

I am well thanks pixa although heading home this afternoon :(

Oysterbabe · 25/05/2015 12:47

Yesterday and the day before I could feel it and it was a bit lower than it usually is at ovulation but higher than it is at AF. It felt soft.
Today it's risen right up, I can't reach it.

Pixa · 25/05/2015 13:59

Rainy34 · 25/05/2015 14:28

Boris glad you made it up with OH

Mummy so sorry about your news, hope you are taking care of yourself!!

Thepug I was not sure wether the thread would work as some other ladies said they could not make a new one, Yeah my thought was wearing a skirt would be easy access, me bad ha ha!!!

Purdie I spent all of yesterday in the garden, de weeded, my garden is starting to take shape now, DH replaced the fence last year and has just painted it and it has made a real difference, I bought a weed burner from wilkos, it is amazing it burns all of the weeds in between the slabs and i dont brake my already broken nails!!

Spinning sorry to see you go, wish you all the luck in getting your BFP!!!

Frog I too am bad at temping, i say every month i will try,

Daisy welcome aboard and look forward to your input this month,

Queenbee can i swap the Gin for wine, i try to like gin but the smell puts me off and have had some awful hangovers on it

oyster all that dtd on your honeymoon has paid off!! fantastic news , think il buy some rum and get dh to dtd twice a day, he will run a mile if i suggest that!!!

Dizzy enjoy your meal with your inlaws!!

pixa chocolate looks good!!

ThePug · 25/05/2015 14:48

Pixa Brilliant! Did we just give you an excuse to make more special ice cream too? Yes we had a good CoC session last night. I've never bothered with BoP though, it's usually a race to clear up and get some clothes on before DH wanders out the room and lets the dog in who is a massive pervert.

eskimo Does Mr Limpalong have a waterproof boot for when it's wet so he doesn't get a soggy sock. Nothing worse than soggy socks. Will you be able to get your test results from the GP tomorrow?

frog Hahaha at the mislaid thermometer etc. I always make sure mine is in the right place next to my phone (alarm) for the morning, which makes it easier.

DizzyM I concur with loving having this place to go through the ttc journey with, don't know what I'd do without it really. Have a good meal tonight! What cuisine are you having?

Queen What's up at work? What do you do? Jealous you're off til Thursday!

sammy Your family have been so brilliant maybe next time someone makes a grating comment you should pull them up on it in a nice way. I'm sure they will understand

Fig Look forward to hearing your updates when you're back in the land of communications. Whenever I have to go to Wales for work I seem to spend hours driving through countryside with zero phone signal. Are you holidaying?

purdiepoppet Remind me what CD you got to on your recent cycle when AF was late. Was your temp as high as it is now towards the end?

Boris SO happy you & DH made up AND had non-functional sex Grin And your comment about 'little Boris' has made me wonder when the last time anyone named their newborn Boris was. You could bring it back and start a trend.

Rainy I knew it Wink

loopylou1984 · 25/05/2015 14:53

Pug - this is dh family rather than mine. I won't say anything because I don't want to make things awkward. But I won't be telling them the dates of important things like egg collection and test day and stuff! Xx

DizzyMerry · 25/05/2015 15:41

Frog and rainy I've lost count of my failed attempts at temping. I would 'forget' to take my sometimes temp and would lose the thermometer at other times. Even got tangled around the duvet once looking for it! I tried again last cycle and thankfully I have now got into the habit of doing it without losing the thermometer.

Pug you have a pervy dog? I can't get that image out of my head now! You just reminded me of SIL dog who would hump her leg every time her DH was in the same room but never in his absence Shock BIL has booked an Italian restaurant. Everyone loves Italian in our family so thankfully no whining will be going on!

Why have I got another flashing smiley? That's 6 days now so can I assume the opk is going mad and abandon dtd or just carry on?

Queenbee30 · 25/05/2015 16:16

pug work for t'Government. just lots of crap going on - badly managed changes etc. Can't be arsed with it all when all I want is to be on mat leave!

rainy wine coming up for you

boris glad all is better in the boris household and hurrah for non ttc sex! I've booked in some functional maybe-i-haven't-ovulated-yet sex this evening.

dizzy if in doubt, dtd!

Woolly84 · 25/05/2015 16:39

boris so glad you and DH made up Smile

queen wish I had a few more days off too! I know what you mean about wanting to be on mat leave, every month I think about what deadlines I'd manage to avoid if I got preggo that cycle!

dizzym yes carry on dtding I reckon, glad you and DH are enjoying it!

pug the pervy dog comment made me "lol" Grin

rainy DH bought a weed burner a few days ago too, he loves it, we only moved into our house end of last summer so didn't spend much time on it, and there are a lotttt of pesky weeds!

So DH and I have had 5 consecutive days of non TTC sex Shock just need fertile time to fall over a long weekend and I'd be sorted Hmm I think AF's on her way as I was very teary earlier Sad the sex helped cheer me up though Grin
