August, during IVF treatment we are all given fanny bullets to sustain a pregnancy, if one should occur. However, it was made clear to us that progesterone won't stop AF arriving if conception does not occur, it will simply delay it. Do you think breastfeeding is thwarting your conception chances? What were your cycles like before falling pregnant? How long were they? How long did it take to conceive?

purdiepie · 30/05/2015 07:48

Sammy, do you always ov on CD16? I can't remember, but it looks to me as though you ov'd on CD17 this month. Sorry you're out, sweetheart, but great things are coming your way. You will get you your baby! Thanks

purdiepie · 30/05/2015 07:54

Pixa and Night, I am really surprise and sorry you're out. Pixa, what has led you to the decision to quit sugar?

Robot, don't question the Sahara desert in yer knicks...It Is Time

P.s...Sparkly, get your ass on here! You've been absent too long x

I think DizzyNorthernBird and Spinning should return, too now that I've left These ladies miss you Smile

purdiepie · 30/05/2015 07:55

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PUG!! Thanks Cake Brew Star

loopylou1984 · 30/05/2015 08:01

Just had to look back at my charts Purdie, but it's always been cd14/15 but the last two cycles I took EPO and it's been 17 and 16 (or both 17 if you're correct). Why do you think cd17 this cycle? That would mean an LH surge of 4 days... I really am a mutant aren't i?! Xx

loopylou1984 · 30/05/2015 08:02

Happy birthday Pug! Xx

Hairstylisttoboris · 30/05/2015 08:04

sammy pixa and night I'm so sorry ladies.

night does this mean you'll stop ttc at all (and posting here?)? Your fostering journey sounds exciting.

dr purdie thank you so much. I normally OV on CD 11 taking Soy one cycle pushed it back to CD 14 but this cycle it didn't feel as effective and only pushed OV to CD 12 - still very early.

AugustAutomomous sound really confusing. Did you take a hpt?

Happy holidays to this's going away. Not jealous at all.

Happy birthday pug

fififolle · 30/05/2015 08:06

Boris if you search soy isoflavones on here, there's some really good advice. Kittyvoncatsington used them very successfully.

Pixa · 30/05/2015 08:22

Nomio how are your pains?

Fififolle Holiday day! Grin

Mummy it sounds like you started some good conversation with DP. Very pleased you have good RL support. How are you feeling today?

Woolly just seen your post about POAS encouragement. I love it. I think the only sticks to pee on that I am going to buy this time are OPKs. Remove the temptation!

DizzyMerry If I had room for you all, I would happily host a bumsnet log cabin party.

Frog, how are you?

August I too love your names. I could never be creative enough to come up with a great new name each month!

Sammy Flowers I have no words. It's crap. We will get there! X

Purdie 't is great to have our resident chart expert back posting. Giving up refined sugar because I find myself sugar crashing throughout the day. I also need to give up gluten or wheat. Numerous conversations with PT and a nutritionist, and they both agree that giving up refined sugar would help with my fatigue. Another lady at work is also going to quit sugar. We wanted to experiment and test our glucose levels and map them on a spreadsheet. Terrible, I know. Blush

I miss DizzyNorth and Spinning.

Boris How are you?

Hairstylisttoboris · 30/05/2015 08:24

Thanks fifi I'll research. Feeling a little deflated. We only managed to dtd twice this month due to DH failures to launch as he's exhausted. i feel like between my crap cycles and our inability to dtd we will never get pregnant. Just wallowing in self pity for half an hour.

Pixa · 30/05/2015 08:27

Does anyone have a link to the stats please, or have they gone AWOL?

Pixa · 30/05/2015 08:29

Sorry to hear your feeling deflated Boris. I think we all go through those self pity moments.

Is there anyway to change when you DTD, could you Dtd before DH goes to work, so he isn't exhausted? Please tell me if I am failing at being helpful Flowers

loopylou1984 · 30/05/2015 08:35

Thanks Pixa, it is rubbish. All I keep thinking is that I only have to feel helpless and a failure for 4 more weeks then at least we'll be proactively doing something.

I'm just trying to ignore the little voice in my head that's whispering 'what if IVF doesn't work either' xx

loopylou1984 · 30/05/2015 08:36

Boris - is your DH open to AI? We've seen some great success stories Smile

Mummy - glad your dh is talking to you now. Xx

Queenbee30 · 30/05/2015 09:48

Happy birthday pug! WineCakeFlowers

Queenbee30 · 30/05/2015 09:50

pixa and night and sammy* sorry you're out ladies Wine

Pixa · 30/05/2015 09:57

Sammy you are not helpless and you are most definitely not a failure! I truly believe that you have already started on your IVF journey, the ball is rolling and you will get your baby. Sweetheart, you are on your way! Flowers Stay positive. It will happen!

Hairstylisttoboris · 30/05/2015 09:59

pixa thank you it is helpful. We do sometines manage in the mornings, need to do that more. sammy I keep bottling out on the AI conversation. But to be honest he is so tired he wouldn't even manage that.

I just did the park run, made me feel better. queen do you ever go to the park run???

Augusthomotherium · 30/05/2015 09:59

Sorry sammy really sorry! It actually looked so good from your chart I thought?
pixa you flatterer! :)
boris I did this morning sss-shh don't tell anyone because I'm so unsure and it obviously was negative
purdie I actually stopped bfing quite a while ago. I would hope that stuff is out of my system already. I never knew what my cycles were before just went with the randomly once a month oh look I suddenly need tampons way of dealing with it and I fell pregnant quickly after going off bc first time. So no experience of "wanting to be pregnant" or charting or cycles before that. Hmm

Augusthomotherium · 30/05/2015 10:04

would you guys be willing to participate in an opinion poll, please?
To some up ---> As you may recall AF started for me on Thursday at 8dpo, which is same as last month. I'm taking prog this cycle to try and lengthen the lp so had hoped it would be longer this time. However, she has been weird like I said and definitely not full flow. Yesterday and today I've had nothing come through on a pad at all, but she's there every time I wipe. Sometimes just a little bit, but like today so far everytime I've gone to the loo the amount would be equivalent to what I would expect if I had an actual AF and was wiping. But still my pad stays spotless in between trips.
My question is do I continue considering this as my May cycle (making me 10dpo today) or do I say that I am cd1 today and into June? Would you ever call it cd1 if you have nothing on a pad but a "light period" amount on wiping, or is blood on wiping always just spotting and not in your view AF?
The reason why it makes a difference to me is whether or not I stop the progesterone now I'm in a new cycle (it's post-ice progesterone only to extend lps) and whether or not I start the soy on cd2 as planned.
I'm sort of hoping for a hands up on who would call it light AF/cd1 and hands up who would call it heavy spotting/10dpo. hmm
Will go with a majority vote I think.
Thank tou so much! Flowers

Augusthomotherium · 30/05/2015 10:05

Uhm that should be to sum up not some up
Oi. hangs head in shame

Augusthomotherium · 30/05/2015 10:10

Fwiw here's my chart.

Bumsnet - where we get it on and get our BFP!!
lucieloos · 30/05/2015 10:14

I have that some months August. I would consider it to be light flow if you are getting quite a bit of blood every time you wipe. For me spotting would be a small amount of very watery blood but not every time I wipe.

Woolly84 · 30/05/2015 10:16

Morning lovely ladies! And happy burfday pug!! GrinCakeWine

frog I like you mantra "keep going, you'll eventually get there", it's how I pick myself up after each cycle too, we have to stay focused lovely, we'll all get there FlowersSmile

pixa, Sammy, night sorry for the temp drops Sad you don't know for sure until AF had arrived, though obviously don't want to get your hopes up. pixa your DH sounds v sweet Smile

sammy ignore that whispering voice and visualise seeing those two boootiful pink lines! Wink

queen how are you feeling today? Sorry if I missed your update!

boris Flowers it's so tough when one/both of you is tired. We go for mornings too if we're too tired the night before. Park run sounds good!

mummy that's great you spoke to DP Smile how you feeling today?

waves to everyone else Smile

I'm off to Kew today with some friends, hope the weather holds up!
Cycle update: CD3, medium flow Hmm

loopylou1984 · 30/05/2015 10:19

August that's the thing I don't get, my charts always look good, but it never works out!
I'd say light af, sounds too much to call it spotting. Xx
