Just had a vm message - I'm to stay on 150 Gonal-F (the nurse mentioned that they might up it to 225 today), trigger on Weds and EC on Friday.

I've called and left a message asking s/o to call back as I don't understand the rush given my follies are growing so slowly. I would have thought that stimming for longer would allow the smaller follies (of which there are plenty) the chance to grow. Last time I had lots of smaller ones, fewer bigger ones and only got 4 eggs. Despite the scan on Sat being good, I didn't get the impression this morning that I was likely to be in any better a position.

God I'm so bored with this shit.

keepitgoing · 27/07/2015 15:17

oh imps it's all about quality... I think you can stim for too long and the egss go off (..) or I suppose the best ones which are big now might get past it.

it only takes one

So EC will be on Fri. They don't want the good follies to go too far. Left ovary has stagnated but right did show a little bit of growth, but not much.

What a fucking waste of time.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 27/07/2015 16:12

Oh Imps, I'm sorry you are having a rough time with this. But as Keep says, it really does only take one. Hopefully some more will have caught up by Friday x

keepitgoing · 27/07/2015 20:21

no, not a waste of time imps. fuck it's so tough. hang in there lovely. I'm brooking the follies do their best, whether that be to be plentiful, or to make a few, top quality ones. we are all brooking x

Right! I've snapped out of the miserable mood I was in yesterday after a good night's sleep. Will just have to BROOK NO ARGUMENT that there will be one egg that turns into a baby. And if IVF doesn't work for us, as least we have some hope that we can conceive naturally.

I LAUGH IN THE FACE OF STAGNATED OVARIES. Bring it on.

keepitgoing · 28/07/2015 08:22

that's the spirit imps! and excellent point, you can conceive naturally; it's just a question of time
are you feeling OK physically?

how's everyone else, its not just about us two Wink

Logging in from holiday to say go imps and keep!!!
Imps they like to get the big ones as they tend to have the best quality eggs so they don't like to let those go to get the others to catch up. I reckon you are in for a mega haul!!

Keep you are pupo??
Hello gen and Munx!

Yes my dad had haemophilia, luckily mild but means I am a carrier and have a 50/50 chance of passing on to a boy. It's an X chromosome disease so nothing to do with dh. I am not too concerned as sad has a pretty normal life just has to bring clotting factors with him in case f an accident on holiday etc but they have to be careful at the birth. They are ken ok doing an amino at 35 weeks to tell whether the baby is affected but I am not keen.

We are in Italy visiting family but slightly disastrous trip so far, my mother has broken her foot, it's about 40 degrees but with rough seas so little far is not loving the beach and she has managed to catch nits. Is it Monday yet???

Pastamancer · 30/07/2015 14:34

Looking forward to your BFP Keep

Imps9 · 30/07/2015 16:13

Yaaaaaaaaaaaay Keep!! 11 Aug is just around the corner

keepitgoing · 30/07/2015 19:13

I may test before, this is day 5 equivalent, so that'd be 17dpo...

Was your embie a blasto?

Oh my gosh people I am so tired. So so so so tired. Meant to be going out tonight, but just woke up from a 30 min nap and feel grotty. Been like it past few days. Anyone else get exhausted towards the end of stimming??

Imps9 · 30/07/2015 19:58

Far your holibobs sounds eventful! You getting much chance for R&R?

keepitgoing · 30/07/2015 21:12

nits far?? Shock

yes imps, was an early blast when frozen but expanded this morning to blast status Grin yes, I remember being knackered all through stimming, were you not last time? brooking like mad for tomorrow. is mrimps nervous about his bit..? will you do ivf if his sample is OK?

OP posts:
farfallarocks · 30/07/2015 22:57

Woo hoo keep great news, you could realistically test in a week, no?
Imps very normal to be tired your body is working hard. Take it easy! Brooking for a big haul tomorrow but remember it only takes one! I cycled with a lady who produced one(!) egg but it was a bfp.

Not much r and r here, little far is understandably a bit grumpy, mum put of action and dh at home! Still the sun is shining and I am not at work so it's all good.

Imps9 · 31/07/2015 08:51

Good work Keep's Embie! Hope you're settling in nicely.

All temazepammed up here and ready to go. Very nearly dropped my bum bullet down the toilet - it shot out of its packet across the room. Slippery little bugger. I don't know why they have to call them "anal repositories" here and not by their proper name.

Bets are on for number of eggs - I say 3, Mr Imps says 4 - add your bet here. Winner has to buy everyone a Walnut Whip.

Imps9 · 31/07/2015 09:42

8 eggs! Pleased with that.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 31/07/2015 09:43

Good luck Imps!! I'm going for 6 eggs.

Go Keeps embie! Brilliant news lovely.

Oh Far what a nightmare! You can even make it better with a vat of Campari! Hope things improve a bit
