Are you sick to the tits of baby-making sex? Or are you squelching with rabid lust when the lickle hand strikes cock o' clock? Have you already picked Sophia and Hugo as your baby names? Do you want to gouge out the smug eyes of the pregnant women in Sainsbo's? Do you shove balloons up your Boden sweater and pretend you have baby in your tum-tum? Have you already picked out your Farrow & Ball nursery paint? GREAT! Then you're just like us: We are the friendliest, wittiest, gayest, animal-lovingest, cervical-hunting women you will ever meet.

Come on, you frightened little trying-to-conceive mice...come join the fun on the Bumsnet bus. You know you wanna Smile

@Purdie it is demanding and faffy.... It really is. The only upside for me was getting a big pack of pricey OPKs to use, that I couldn't have afforded otherwise.

I was also labouring under the misapprehension that you got high street vouchers for participating.... But it's actually only if you become pregnant, which rubs salt in that wound somewhat!

But I did do it all, as it took my mind off TTC in a weird way! Focusing on labels and surgical cling film (a revelation) rather than the 2ww!

Xxxxx

purdiepie · 16/05/2015 05:48

Ha ha! Yes, I know what you mean, Wood *thanks again for having answered my query t'other day when I thought it was Woolly). These free pricey OPKs..are they the digi ones we've been using in the trial?

I'm trying to remember what you all said in your posts since I started the thread - I had to read six pages last night to catch up. Erm...Sammy, 19 is so great, you know. Mine is 5.5 which is low fertility but expected at my age (that score was two years ago at age 41). The problem with AMH (Anti Mullerian Hormone) is that is says absolutely nothing about the quality of eggs. I know the women on the over 40s ttc thread all have shockingly low AMHs - much lower than mine - but they get pregnant with scores of 0.01 and such. Honestly, it only takes one euploid egg and you've crackled it (excuse the pun). It's a hugely useful test for the IVF clinic, of course, if you are to be using your own eggs; no clinic wants a woman on there failure stats who has an AMH of 2 Hmm

No, we haven't heard about our donor yet and I'm wondering how long, realistically, we should be expected to wait for answer from her; two weeks? A moth? Six months? Clearly that's not going to work because I'mm 44 soon and time is in short supply!

Bean, as if you could be an LPB! I forget you have a horse, you're so lucky!

Congratulations, Melon.

Ibeka, I was congratulating you on corralling 40 gypsies around Bucklins as part of your job as Culture & Diversity Minister. Or summat.

DizzyN, keep that running sloooooow!

Auto, brace lark Grin I had to really think about that one Hmm

I've been up since 4.28am with a burst-nappied tot. Changing her woke her up completely and so she signalled to me that she wanted to go downstairs and watch In The Night Garden. As you can imagine I leapt out of bed, thrilled to share the joys of Upsidaisy with an entranced nipper whilst listening to the council estate Staffies shagging cock crow.

See? It's cock o' clock 'ere, too Grin

DizzyN, you seem really informed about bowels nutrition. Can you advise me about anti-inflammatory foods, please? I would Google it but the tot is currently watching Beyoncé Single Ladies on youtube Hmm

Night, why only seven days on cycle 2? Are you sure? Why the big Tupperware box for that cycle, then? Your DH shouldn't really be impaling your arsehole on his pork sword more than once 'by accident'. That's some forceful pistoning of penis there Hmm

Purdie - oh no.... Proper early riser today!

And no, the freebies are a tiny battered pack of the normal clearblue ov sticks.... Digital, but no the dual hormone ones.

Insult to injury....!!

woodpigeon123 · 16/05/2015 06:19

#ungrateful

woodpigeon123 · 16/05/2015 06:21

Another month of super low temps for me... Dr has called and said I'm being referred for sub fertility.... Done some tests already and now he'd like to do a day 1-5 blood test.

Is that to check my baseline prog levels?

Hope all well with lovely bus ladies!
xx

Hairstylisttoboris · 16/05/2015 06:25

On the subject of the clear blue trial, I can't get over the idea of storeing your wee in a fridge....

AF has arrived. Onwards and upwards. I've been asked to go back to Singapore and malaysia soon, so at least now I can work out when I need to refuse to travel for the purposes of baby making.

woodpigeon123 · 16/05/2015 06:27

hair I'm so sorry.... It's such a bitch x

Hairstylisttoboris · 16/05/2015 06:27

woodpigeon is that a ttc chart or a cross section of the Rockies? How do you feel about being referred? Also why are you up so early? X

Hairstylisttoboris · 16/05/2015 06:29

wood I was 3 or 4 days late, trying not to get to excited as well :(

woodpigeon123 · 16/05/2015 06:32

Oh god, that's even worse. Have a wine, and a cry if you need to... Big big big hugs. xxxxx

My charts are ALWAYS like that. They're ridiculous.

woodpigeon123 · 16/05/2015 06:34

No idea why I'm up this early on a Saturday... If I'm totally honest, I was hoping for a ginormous temp rise, and woke up to test just in case!

I feel ok about the referral I think.... At least it means something will happen, though I don't know what!

Pikz · 16/05/2015 06:35

On a child free weekend in Cornwall for a wedding. Will catch up 6,896,576 posts when I'm home Grin

Hairstylisttoboris · 16/05/2015 06:39

pikz sounds wonderful. Enjoy!

woodpigeon at least being referred is likely to help you get information and closer to any necessary interventions you need.

purdie is the tot still watching you tube videos?

nightandthelight · 16/05/2015 07:15

Oh gosh I don't know Purdie, I thought it was seven days. I think they provide you with so many as if you get pg you have to carry on until day 60!

Can't believe how many of you lovely ladies suffer with digestive problems, I really thought I was so lone freak, so good to know I'm normal :)

Is accidental spearing not normal (it doesn't happen often just is really painful when it does do I tend to remember it). Maybe my arse is just too enticing Grin

My plans for weekend are: gardening, cinema and visiting my dementia riddled grandma.

Woolly84 · 16/05/2015 07:31

purdie long morning already for you!

Sorry for AF boris Sad

pikz have fun!

wood good luck for the tests, hope you get some answers.

My temps look crap, dropped two days in a row now - on what I thought was 3 dpo but now thinking whether I've even ovulated Sad
sulks off
