Are you sick to the tits of baby-making sex? Or are you squelching with rabid lust when the lickle hand strikes cock o' clock? Have you already picked Sophia and Hugo as your baby names? Do you want to gouge out the smug eyes of the pregnant women in Sainsbo's? Do you shove balloons up your Boden sweater and pretend you have baby in your tum-tum? Have you already picked out your Farrow & Ball nursery paint? GREAT! Then you're just like us: We are the friendliest, wittiest, gayest, animal-lovingest, cervical-hunting women you will ever meet.

Come on, you frightened little trying-to-conceive mice...come join the fun on the Bumsnet bus. You know you wanna Smile

Thanks for all the welcomes - literally just completed 1st af since coming off the pill so just need to work out ovulation dates from here on, going to try just work by apps etc rather than temp just yet.
Terrified as mmc 2 years ago was a big shock, 5 days in hospital and made me anaemic. But determined this time will he different (if and when it happens)
Hello to all :-)

spinningirl10 · 15/05/2015 19:01

Yay a newbie, welcome Laura, I think you were here before yes?

Rice, so sorry to hear about your Dad. What a difficult time for you and your family. Thinking of you and sending a hug xx

Bean, fx for you. Ah bean, just saw your later update, I hate temp drops!

Queen, sorry you're feeling down, what's up? Let us cheer you up.

Daisy, sorry for the bfn, crap!

Sammy and Night, sorry I missed your updates on the old bus. I'll check back in the morning as we're off out for a walk shortly.

Glittery, hope you're feeling a little better tonight.

Purdie, how was work this week? Another week done!

Sparkly, hope you're feeling a little better, miss you here.

Agh, I've run out of time. Sorry, I'll catch up some more tomorrow. I miss being more involved here.

Rainy34 · 15/05/2015 19:01

welcome to all the newbies, nice to see others joining us!!

Melon fingers crossed for a darker line tomorrow

Riceicle1 sorry to hear about your dad, have you had any feedback at what stage it is at and what the next steps are?

Glittery sorry you are feeling poorly and hope it goes soon

I came home excited as it said on my email that my fertility yoga dvd had been posted through our letterbox, i have looked everywhere for it and oh is in bed so i can't ask him

nightandthelight · 15/05/2015 19:02

What's a pondenco Eskimo? They didn't explain that she wasn't a galgos, I just asked to sponsor one who didn't have any other sponsors (massive softie). I don't care though because she is my beautiful baby Grin

Ooh ibeka I don't like water so I drink loads of squash! Am really going to have to learn to live with water :(

So with a food diary do I do a first week recording everything and how I feel and then start excluding stuff or exclude from the very beginning?

nightandthelight · 15/05/2015 19:07

I don't have a problem with you talking about your IVF Sammy, I can't answer any of your questions but I like knowing how it is going for you :)

chopsface · 15/05/2015 19:07

Sammy the AMH is usually seen plotted on a graph with age along the bottom and level up the side. You can match your age to the level to see if you are 'normal'. The GP says its normal for your age, you're not 20 anymore unfortunately where it will be in the optimal range! At 34 mine should have been lower than 20 according to the graph.

Hairstylisttoboris · 15/05/2015 19:10

I'd like to echo what night just said sammy; I might not be able to answer your questions on ivf stuff but it's good (and interesting in a selfish way) to understand all the different issues. Please keep posting here too.

DaisyDuckSW15 · 15/05/2015 19:38

Lots of us with rather synced cycles here... lots of AFs due! They say that happens when women spend a lot of time together. Wonder if hormones travel through the interweb! Smile

autonomousplum · 15/05/2015 19:44

Hahahahah dizzy
sighs

lucieloos · 15/05/2015 19:50

Sammy you have absolutely nothing to worry about with an AMH of 19 believe me that is still very good. Mine is 7.3 and I still got 7 eggs retrieved and that was on a relatively average dose of medication, they didn't even stimm me very hard. Honestly you have nothing to worry about and you will get lots of eggs with that score. I would tell you if I thought otherwise. It's more to tell them what medication and dose to give you than anything else. You will be on a relatively low dose and will get lots and lots of eggs.

Nomio230 · 15/05/2015 20:18

That is really interesting, Lucie. As someone who will (in all probability) be going through IVF in the future, I find it really helpful when you and Sammy post your updates.

Sammy, I will look into that. I am sure I have had it done at some point, but it would be good to get an up to date figure.

Figroller · 15/05/2015 21:21

Phew glad I found you, better late than never. Love your intro Purdie.

Congrats Melon I can see a line.

Rice so sorry to hear about your dad Flowers

Night I can really relate to what you were saying about the constipation Even before TTC when I was really suffering I used to try and avoid sex and DH because I felt so uncomfortable. I'm sorry though I don't have any advice because it still happens and I find it worse if I am eating healthily Confused

Hi Pug glad you are feeling positive and I hope you become upduffed again really soon.

Sorry for bfn Boris and hope your jet lag wears off soon.

Hope you get well soon Glittery

Sammy I too find it interesting to hear your updates and I think you should carry on posting here.

Hello to everybody and all newbies. I have just found it really hard to catch up so hope I didn't miss too much. CD 8 here so quite boring, EWCM today, day 3 of temping and DTDathon has begun.

Woolly84 · 15/05/2015 21:58

Too....many....posts!!

melon!! I have everything crossed for you, looking forward to an update Smile

night I hope you get the digestive issues sorted soon, sounds very uncomfortable. I second the advice about preseed, CoC several days on the trot can make me a bit "unreceptive" too and we've found that even just a little bit of preseed (used externally) does wonders!

pug it is so nice to see you posting regularly again and feeling positive Smile xx

dizzynorthern glad you're feeling a bit better today, and how exciting about your friend!

boris how's the jet lag?

rainy thanks for the dvd name! I shall look it up...

riceicle thinking of you Flowers

sammy I find the ivf chat very interesting, we're all here to support each other on this long ol' TTC journey no matter what route we end up taking!

glittery I love your posts, can you and eskimo invent some sort of app that gives me daily amusing tidbits on my phone? (Kinda like FF, but funnier and filthier)

Hope everyone else is okay!! Xx

Woolly84 · 15/05/2015 22:01

Also, before FF, did anyone else never know that "tidbits" was another variation of the word for "titbits"?! I always went with tit...never heard of tid....

I'll shut up now Blush

Beansprout30 · 15/05/2015 22:01

spinning hope you are having a lovely holiday, your pics on fb look great, jel!!

glittery thanks for keeping ya flaps crossed for me Grin hope you feel better soon lovely, and your poor dh with his sore crown jewels hehe

sammy please do continue to post about ivf, I have no clue about it but cycles are rumbling on im thinking I could perhaps be considering it too at some point

hi to newbies Brew

Plans for weekend, town tomorrow with dh, looking forward to a vanilla latteand chocolate brownie, then dh is back at work tomorrow eve so I get to spend Sunday with my horse Grin

have a good one all!

nightandthelight · 15/05/2015 22:01

Just had pain free DTD! Must have been the yoghurt I had for pudding Grin

MelonMelon · 15/05/2015 22:03

Hi ladies. Thanks for all your messages today. I'm away for the weekend so might not be able to update for a couple of days but just wanted to say thanks!

PS test was a frer but I had a similar line of an asda test and an IC

Rainy34 · 15/05/2015 22:16

Night yeah to pain free dtd, keep eating the yoghurts x

loopylou1984 · 15/05/2015 22:44

Lucie thank you, that's really reassuring to hear. I'm feeling a bit out of my depth now!

Thank you everyone, I'm more than happy to update here if you all want to know. I'm not leaving don't worry, I'm too invested in you all! Need to know when you get your BFPs!!

Night - hooray for painless sex! I have my bum on a pillow (actually my scrunched up dressing gown!) as we speak! Xx

DizzyMerry · 15/05/2015 22:56

Yay for painless dtd night. I didn't get a chance to post earlier but I used to experience pain so I stopped eating before I was full which helped immensely. Of course I make up for it after dtd!!!

Sammy I know nothing about IVF but it all sounds interesting so please post away and keep us updated. It's nice to go through this ttc journey with everyone on here.

Woolly yes, I actually knew that!

Bean your weekend plans sound lovely. Now I want a vanilla latte!

JBoogie86 · 15/05/2015 23:02

ThePug I know right! I'm rediculousy impatient as it is!! Proved by my childish strop this evening when told I was being taken out for dinner by OH! I behaved like a sulky teenager most of the evening checking my watch and asking ' can we go now ' after each mouthful! The poor waitress only asked if we wanted coffee. .. Shock the deed was finally done and now back to normal (ish) grown up (somewhat) self!!
Have lovely weekends all!Smile

ibeka · 15/05/2015 23:23

night Grin hurray for easily done deeds! I would do two weeks food diary eating as you normally do then look for patterns....

Just want to reiterate what everyone has said to sammy, don't feel you can't ask IVF stuff here.We are all interested!

boogie I'm sorry to hear about your MMC. There are a few of us here who have been through that and know how shitty it is. We are all here to hold each other's virtual hands through the worry.

No action TTC or otherwise here... My foof is a no entry zone this fortnight. God the TWW is so boring!!!!

Nomio230 · 15/05/2015 23:50

I find the first part of the month worse. At least during the TWW you have that little frisson of excitement that you might be growing a baby.

Woolly, I heard that tidbit is the American version & was changed from tit because they were too prudish to say that. Don't know how true it is though!

Night, yay for Activia sex!

purdiepie · 16/05/2015 00:11

Hurrah for newbies! You are so, so welcome and I hope you get babies in your tum-tums soon.

Night, you have described what I am going through exactly and it is the reason I agreed to a BBC bum invasion. I almost constantly feel the pressure of a turtle's head against my anus - as though remnants of the previous poo are hammering on the door to get out. So I go to the toilet and almost spring my eyeballs out of their sockets trying to squeeze out a turf a midget would be ashamed of. I am horribly bloated all the time, so much so that I am resigned to it forever. My diet is largely diabolical, though, so I mustn't grumble.

Weekend plans: open air church service tomorrow near Chorley market; a plant sale; cooking for the coming week; completing the outrageously detailed Gennet IVF form.

I honestly feel this Clearblue trial is preposterously demanding and faffy. Remind me of the prize, someone?

Nomio230 · 16/05/2015 00:22

I found the same thing, Purds. I gave up after a month!

Any news from your egg donor yet?
