Are you sick to the tits of baby-making sex? Or are you squelching with rabid lust when the lickle hand strikes cock o' clock? Have you already picked Sophia and Hugo as your baby names? Do you want to gouge out the smug eyes of the pregnant women in Sainsbo's? Do you shove balloons up your Boden sweater and pretend you have baby in your tum-tum? Have you already picked out your Farrow & Ball nursery paint? GREAT! Then you're just like us: We are the friendliest, wittiest, gayest, animal-lovingest, cervical-hunting women you will ever meet.

Come on, you frightened little trying-to-conceive mice...come join the fun on the Bumsnet bus. You know you wanna Smile

Welcome giraffe :) stats please!

I have been wondering whether it's my addiction to all things bready Dizzy, is it worth seeing doc or are they likely to be equally useless as yours?

chopsface · 15/05/2015 09:41

night do you drink plenty during the day? That helps me. And activia yoghurts believe it or not. Dh says "are you buying any poo yoghurts this week?" Lol

I'm actually not looking forward to Xmas baby glittery! Its not what I would have chosen at all! Dh is dreading there will be a blanket of snow preventing us from getting to the hospital and the staff won't be on full alert! I've no idea if I will be still preg, giving birth or have tiny baby on Xmas day itself so can't make dinner plans or any plans with family as neither set are local to us! So I don't think they will be making firm plans either in case they are needed! And then of course poor baby has to share his/her birthday with Jesus and only have one set of gifts and no birthday party with friends as they will all be at Xmas parties or their mums will. I think they will have to have a 2nd birthday like the queen?

Welcome giraffe!

chopsface · 15/05/2015 09:42

told you the worry doesn't stop

BabyGiraffeOnIce · 15/05/2015 09:45

dizzy well, I'm a Northeastern Lady so probably just as dizzy as yourself Smile

boris I tried Gin again last week as I so wont to like it, but just can't get to grips with it so will an amaretto or a Passoa do? (apparently I like sweet sugary syrupy drinking)

I am 28, ttc 1st after having unplanned mmc 2 years ago. I like to eat kind of well, but then dominos distracts me and I tell myself I'll run it off, still looking to go on that run Smile

BabyGiraffeOnIce · 15/05/2015 09:46

eurgh - I WANT to like gin, I do not won't to like gin Hmm

nightandthelight · 15/05/2015 09:48

I drink loads chops, constantly in the loo!

Chances of snow at Christmas are v slim (snow is actually very rare in December, far more common in Jan/Feb). Staff will be working as though it is a normal day don't worry! I imagine that there may actually be a more positive atmosphere :) please don't panic!

nightandthelight · 15/05/2015 09:50

Will get me some activia yoghurts :)

MelonMelon · 15/05/2015 10:08

Dizzy not a clue! normal cycle is 28 days but had a wonky 40 day one in March so could have ovd a week ago or 2 weeks ago it's anyone's guess! We're going away wuth friends for the weekend so at least I'll have a distraction to take my mind of it until I retest on Sunday

Newbies plural!!

TigerBright · 15/05/2015 10:26

Thanks for the welcome!

I used to have very standard 28 day cycles. When ttc our first I conceived first cycle but it sadly ended in mc at 8 weeks.

We then conceived DS first cycle of trying after that.

Now I know we are only on our 3rd cycle but I was way too optimistic having had success first time before!

glitteryflange · 15/05/2015 10:31

sorry to hear about your mc tiger :( x
how old is ds?

just checked my fertile days on ovia, period tracker, glow and bumsnet.obsessed much
starts tomorrow apparantly so good jobby I laid back and thought of Johnny Depp last night :)

glitteryflange · 15/05/2015 10:32

fucking strike through can fuck off today.

glitteryflange · 15/05/2015 10:40

Right. I have a new plan. I have looked through my past shagging days and predicted ovulation dates.

I average 27day cycle which would mean I ovulate earlier right?
so going by this website yourfertility.org.au/for-women/timing-and-conception

it says I am high fertility on cd 8-13. to then ovulate on CD13.

I dont start shagging until day cd12/13 sometimes. is this too late?

But I never usually get flashy/peak face until much later either. from CD CD15/21.

I am so confused.Confused

Hairstylisttoboris · 15/05/2015 10:41

Having a good day glittery??

TigerBright · 15/05/2015 10:41

DS is 20 months and I'm 30

I use the clue app and it says I'm due to ov this weekend. Cycles have increased to 35 days since DS was born. Did anyone else have a change after having a baby?

Hairstylisttoboris · 15/05/2015 10:44

glittery third timing guides are only guides, they may not be accurate for you. I'd say go by the opks. And possibly start temping? But might be worth shagging earlier, say every third or eod, to make sure your vadge is filled with swimmers?
