Are you sick to the tits of baby-making sex? Or are you squelching with rabid lust when the lickle hand strikes cock o' clock? Have you already picked Sophia and Hugo as your baby names? Do you want to gouge out the smug eyes of the pregnant women in Sainsbo's? Do you shove balloons up your Boden sweater and pretend you have baby in your tum-tum? Have you already picked out your Farrow & Ball nursery paint? GREAT! Then you're just like us: We are the friendliest, wittiest, gayest, animal-lovingest, cervical-hunting women you will ever meet.

Come on, you frightened little trying-to-conceive mice...come join the fun on the Bumsnet bus. You know you wanna Smile

Great minds eskimo, great minds Grin

Cd7 here, fertile window doesn't start for 9 days. God it's boring. No wonder I can't stop thinking about chocolate.

loopylou1984 · 19/05/2015 18:13

Hey everyone - hope you're all ok?
Its thundering and hailing here and my feline fur baby is out in it somewhere :(

I just got a letter from the private hospital consultant who said 'Your AMH result is entirely normal, indeed very encouraging at 19pmol/l'
He says he recommends we progress to IVF as it will maximise the chance of pregnancy and that currently they are achieving a pregnancy rate of roughly 45%. The embryo glue and scope will slightly increase the chances of implantation. The nursing team will contact us to discuss moving forward and he believes we have 'an excellent chance of starting a family together' which has made me cry! So that's my update...now to catch up with you all.... Xx

ibeka · 19/05/2015 18:18

Keep pissing, pug you're nearly there! I alWays find OPKs take a while to come up.

sammy that's such an encouraging letter Smile

dizzy why are you cutting out sugar?

All these emotional outpouring of love for the bus are very lovely and I couldn't agree more. I won't say more than that though or I shall start crying, and I have already done that once today at work... Sad

ThePug · 19/05/2015 18:35

ibeka Oh no, what happened at work? Sad I will definitely keep pissing, thank you for the encouragement!!

sammy what a lovely lovely letter. You do have an excellent chance at starting a family, and hopefully you're now on the fastrack towards just that

Dizzy Your lunch sounds yum! And very healthy. Maybe you could bake something to take to work as a snack (like flapjacks) and each batch cut down the sugar content (or syrup/honey whatever) so you gradually make the taste less sweet over time and retrain your taste buds (and brain) not to want super sweet things?

wotsits1 · 19/05/2015 18:36

Awww Sammy what an awesome letter Grin

Nomio230 · 19/05/2015 18:39

Are you ok, Ibeca? Why were you crying?

Sammy, that is really good news. You have a really good chance of being a mummy soon, yay! Do you know when you will be starting IVF yet?

Nomio230 · 19/05/2015 18:53

I just realised I am CD8 today, so coming up to CoC. For some reason I thought I was only day 6. Confused

Figroller · 19/05/2015 19:00

Cd 12 for me and my opk is back to almost blank after being almost positive yesterday. I think I am faulty and starting to wonder if I even ovulate.

What a lovely letter to receive Sammy I bet you can't wait Smile

Figroller · 19/05/2015 19:07

Sorry pressed post too soon... Hope you are ok Ibeka - surely crying is a symptom right?

Dizzy I am a total sugar addict I know it's not healthy I think I need to go cold turkey.

Rainy34 · 19/05/2015 19:09

Sammy what a lovely hopeful letter, sounds like you will be on your way to starting your family very soon, wishing you lots of luck!!

Ibeka sorry to hear you have been emotional at work , hope you are ok?!

Went for my chlaymidia test today required for application for fertility referral, the nurse took it though , was spotting and a lot of blood came out so i think il have to go back again to get it done, feeling very emotional the last few days, cried three times in work today, luckily i have such a supportive manager, OH is speaking to his boss about letting him go for sperm sample tomorrow, I can't wait till he gets it done and then we can get on with the referral - feel stuck in a rut at the moment and need to move forward to either get help or be told to bin the idea of starting a family , sorry its sorry for myself post yet again!!

ThePug · 19/05/2015 19:10

Fig If it was almost positive yesterday and blank now I would think that you had your peak somewhere in the last 24 hours, no? Have you started temping yet? I would get on with some CoC anyway!

Figroller · 19/05/2015 19:15

We had CoC last night will do tonight as well just to be sure. I have started temping so hopefully it will show something. Just worried because I don't always get a darker than control line opk.

Figroller · 19/05/2015 19:18

Sorry you are feeling down Rainy. I hope you get the referral soon. It's frustrating all this waiting but please don't give up.

Rainy34 · 19/05/2015 19:19

Thanks Fig, just such a rollercoaster this ttc lark!!!

ThePug · 19/05/2015 19:21

loopylou1984 · 19/05/2015 21:06

Thanks everyone, it's pretty exciting. I know they're gonna make it sound positive because they want us to buy their product. But I can just tell he is really passionate about what he does which can only be a good thing!

Nomio - no we don't have any dates yet, the letter says the nursing team will be in touch so I guess I just wait and see! Xx

Nomio230 · 19/05/2015 21:15

Welcome back, Oyster! I hope you have a honeymoon baby on board!

Rainy, I know how hard it can be, but don't give up hope. Sometimes it seems like you are going through all this pain for nothing, but you will get there eventually. Hopefully your referral will go through quickly and you can get some help. Flowers

Rainy34 · 19/05/2015 21:32

Thanks Nomio I won't give up, just feel a bit emotional , think af will be here in the next few day so my hormones are probably playing me up!!!

Hairstylisttoboris · 19/05/2015 21:48

ibeka Flowers for you
fig I quite often have to test opks a few times a day to catch my peak reading. It normally peaks at about 4 pm. I use Internet cheap sticks so I can puss freely without bankrupting us.
rainy Cake and Flowers look after yourself.

Welcome back oyster!

sammy lovely letter

I'm currently researching fibroids. I need to go in to meet my gp armed with questions now. But I'm holding on to the fact he says they are not a significant problem at this time.

DaisyDuckSW15 · 19/05/2015 21:51

ibeka, I cried at work today too! Obviously something in the air... or it could just be that I'm utterly knackered after an exhausting half term including Ofsted. Hope you're okay. xx
