DHs pipes have been well and truly cleared today. First he had his SA, and now we DTD. Shame it is only CD6!

Who is next to POAS? I am in the boring part of my cycle, so need excitement!

Nomio you need to check the FB post from way back when we were all introducing ourselves. There are several of us in that neck of the woods, we could definitely have a regional rendezvous! Good job on making use of the hotel bedsheets not your own!

night I didn't know spermstuff wasn't stretchy Confused so I revert to my original congrats on getting EWCM!

eskimo & ibeka I'm pretty sure my dog hasn't got much concept of time when he's on his own. I'm lucky to work from home most of the time so he has company but just sleeps the entire time except to bark at noises outside . He gets a 15 min walk in the morning and a longer one at 5.30. He does not need or want to go outside at any point in the day for a pee break. When I have to work away DH comes home to see him at lunchtime. He used to go to a dogsitter and spend the day in her house with her black lab - he looooooooved that and she was only £12 so very reasonable. Unfortunately she decided to get an office job so doesn't do it anymore. We found another one but she charges £26 per day Shock so he now only goes to her if I'm away 2 or 3 days in a row, so he gets tired out and can spend the next day happily recovering at home. I would love to get another one but I'm worried that the current monster will teach a puppy bad behaviour and I'll end up with two unruly dogs and a baby, obviously

Pug I think it was you that mentioned the saliva test a while ago and I had a look online but completely forgot about it afterwards. I think I would be more inclined to try it if I didn't have to use opks at the same time but I do see why you'd have to use both for a few cycles initially. To answer your question DH looks forward to this time of the month with positivity and enthusiasm. He tries his best to make it enjoyable for both of us but his idea of doing this involves loads of foreplay. He has realised now that there will be days where we will just have to get it over and done with.

My DH used to be the same, Dizzy. He wanted every time to be perfect just in case we made a baby that day, which is sweet but not very realistic . These days we tend to alternate between just getting it over with & full on romantic sex.

Pug, do you find the ferning reliable? I looked into it, but found conflicting studies.

nomio Well I only have one month of data to go on (and this cycle so far but it wouldn't be fair to count this really) so not exactly scientific but I think it certainly gave a good indication of when hormones were a'changing. Here's my chart from that month so you can see how the ferns tallied with everything else (I stopped bothering in the 2ww and not sure why I had the random partial ferning early on). At under £20 and reusable I just think its a useful extra tool in the TTC armoury

Temp rise this morning following fixed smiley yesterday so I think I have ovd. Dtd twice yesterday and will try again this evening in case the egg is still hanging around :)

What do you think ladies? Temp rise is the same as what I had last cycle. Is the fact that I don't see a massive change a problem?

Night I am envious of your lovely ovulation. Ha ha. I had a positive opk yesterday, dtd, was hugely excited about temping this morning. I temped and saw a drop!! God knows what my body is playing at. Either way we have plenty of CoC so we should hit the right time but it is vexing!

Another one feeling the love on here. It's an amazing place full of amazingly strong women who will think nothing of putting their own problems aside and rally round with advice and support for others. Ttc would be such a dark place without you all. I'll stop myself now before I start wailing on the bus and covering everyone with tears and snot!!!

Was washing it up merry and it fell on the floor, somehow the coffee managed to splash all the way up my dress from the floor! It wasn't even my coffee :(

Ah there you are woolly. It can get difficult trying to keep up on both buses and even more so with work commitments so I understand what you mean. I think it's great that you're not symptom spotting and giving too much headspace to it all. That can only be a good thing and the tww won't be such a drag.

Oh dear night how dare it splash up from the floor. I mean how can that even happen?! I once went to reach for the sugar jar, which was on the shelf above the worktop only I somehow managed to tip the whole jar over myself. I was covered in sugar from head to toe as was the kitchen floor. I didn't even want a cuppa was looking for a card I left there and I was late for work trying to clean myself up Confused
