Are you sick to the tits of baby-making sex? Or are you squelching with rabid lust when the lickle hand strikes cock o' clock? Have you already picked Sophia and Hugo as your baby names? Do you want to gouge out the smug eyes of the pregnant women in Sainsbo's? Do you shove balloons up your Boden sweater and pretend you have baby in your tum-tum? Have you already picked out your Farrow & Ball nursery paint? GREAT! Then you're just like us: We are the friendliest, wittiest, gayest, animal-lovingest, cervical-hunting women you will ever meet.

Come on, you frightened little trying-to-conceive mice...come join the fun on the Bumsnet bus. You know you wanna Smile

Ladies, what effect could vitamin b6 have on your cycle? I started taking it a couple of months ago to regulate my moods as I'm a horrid crazy bitch, but interested to know what other impacts it might have.

nightandthelight · 18/05/2015 14:26

Ladies I am going to have to stop the bus to make an announcement! For the first time since I started TTC I have EWCM! So so happy :)

ibeka · 18/05/2015 14:26

Oof dizzy I feel exhausted reading your dtd plan!

spinners good news on the SA. Vey pleased to hear that. EW = CoC I say... Maybe it'll be such wonderful EW it'll keep DH's new supersperm alive for many days....!

bozza, that is the babybomb equivalent of the blitz. Hope you're ok... I've got two colleagues going on mat leave next month so have been sinning cards etc. it's not fun. I am so jealous.

I just want to officially put it out there that I fully loathe my job right now. eskimo, how do you work having dogs and teaching? I want a dog so much but we are both out the house for 12 hours a day....

glitteryflange · 18/05/2015 14:28

Sitting in the waiting room for my nhs appointment and it's FULL of children. I mean they're everywhere! Does no one go to nursery anymore?

Rachel I think everyone who has been trying for some time finds ttc sex boring... Dh was still inside me last night when he said 'do you expect your temperature to rise tomorrow' it sent us both in to hysterics actually!

Spinning - what a turn around! Wow! Xx

nightandthelight · 18/05/2015 14:29

So sorry for triple baby bomb Boris, may I suggest B&Js?

Great news on the sperm spinning Grin

loopylou1984 · 18/05/2015 14:35

And bumps! This room is full of children and pregnant women. It's a world away from the private clinic where they don't even allow children.

It's so insensitive... You'd think they could put up a partition at least to split the preggos from the infertiles! Xx

loopylou1984 · 18/05/2015 14:35

Sorry for the baby bombs Boris :(. Xx

ibeka · 18/05/2015 14:37

Oh Sammy what a nightmare!

loopylou1984 · 18/05/2015 14:40

It's actually okay Ibeka, I think because I have the private route in action it's not bothering me so much! Last time we were here I just wanted to cry. Xx

ibeka · 18/05/2015 14:51

That's good then. Hope the appointment is OK, even if just a formality... X

nightandthelight · 18/05/2015 15:05

Glad to hear that you are bearing up well Sammy but the NHS does need to work it's care for women with fertility problems! I would suggest making an official comment otherwise things will never change.

glitteryflange · 18/05/2015 15:38

Sammy - I know it's shit and sucks donkey cock.

But

one day you WILL be there with your bump! x

loopylou1984 · 18/05/2015 16:54

Twas a bit ridiculous. Saw yet another different doctor who had no idea about any of my blood test results! Had to go through everything again, only for her to say 'you do understand there's nothing more we can do until september?'
She also told me not to bother with the private round as I'm 'so young' - clearly she's never struggled with her fertility!
On the plus side she has written me a blood test form for the HIV test... Which I'm scared to have incase I can never increase my mortgage afterwards! Xx

Oh and night, yes I thought that... But will do it after treatment incase they black list me or something! Xx

DizzyNorthernBird · 18/05/2015 17:40

purdie how much does one of those SA tests cost?

spinning congrats on the results! I bet that came as a surprise!

boris that proper sucks. I'm so sick of hearing about people at work getting pregnant I just need to scream! Argh!

I might try the chops plan to get me upduffed this month. Twice, one either side of ov. We dtd yesterday and I really couldn't be arsed. Can't say I'm looking forward to fertile window this month except for having that 'am I/aren't I' feeling afterwards. DP need not worry about getting a sore dingaling this time around, I'm up for the bare minimum the way I feel atm.

DizzyMerry · 18/05/2015 18:09

I feel the same dizzy. The fertile days are looming and I'm feeling deflated already but I daren't do the bare minimum just in case.

Figroller · 18/05/2015 18:52

Hello, CD11 for me - lots of ewcm and opk nearly positive. Still temping but going away on Sunday so will miss a couple of days, just hope I ov before then as DH staying at home.

Boris I seem to be getting baby bombed all ways too. Loads of people at my work are pregnant and yesterday I was waiting for DD in the café at swimming. Nobody there except me until 3 people came in separately each with tiny babies in car seats. I felt like the universe was trying to tell me something Hmm

Spinning great news on DH results and ewcm can only mean one thing.. its CoC. Is DH taking any supplements I might slip some in my DH's tea

Ibeka symptoms sound really positive for you. When will you poas?? Fx for you so you can start planning your maternity leave Wink

Welcome Rachel are you trying to conceive child #10 or are you on month 10? Me and DH have the same problem, more him than me. He used to have such a high sex drive now not so high annoying since we have been TTC. He actually told me once he thinks I am just using him for his sperms.

Good luck for DH's SA Nomino and interesting about the NHS test. Makes you wonder if you can trust the results now.

Pixa your pallet furniture looks really good I want some! My dad made us a bench but it's not nearly as good as yours.

DizzyM good luck with your dtdathon I can feel the exhaustion just from reading it, hope you manage it. The acupuncture sounds good, she sounds like she knows her stuff.

Queen I might be interested to try the vitamin B6 I have terrible moods at certain times of my cycle. I actually know I am being unreasonable sometimes but I cant stop myself. I feel sorry for DH and DD.

Great news on the ewcm Night sounds like it's CoC for you too..

Glad the docs agreed to do your HIV test Sammy sounds like she was a bit clueless though but at least you can get your test and get things moving.

DizzyN you never know the unenthusiastic approach may work for you this month. I hope so Smile

Glittery the herb planter looks really good I would like to do that too. I have just bought 50 cheapy opk's from amazon think they were about £7.

Purdie interesting in what you were saying about dtd after the positive opk and sperm only living for 1.5 days. We have been mainly focusing our efforts before the positive opk maybe that is where I am going wrong?

Sorry for the massive post, logged onto the laptop so thought I should make the most of it and catch up Grin

ThePug · 18/05/2015 18:53

Both dizzys how are your DPs feeling about the sex? Are they making it seem like a big old chore too? It obviously is but someone has to try to make it a bit more exciting and that shouldn't always have to be you

sammy Ugh, poor you sitting in that waiting room. I had the same thing at the EPU, who also seemed to be doing scans for people with appointments who would all come out clutching their photos beaming at DHs whilst the rest of the waiting room were in turmoil

night That's great news if it is EWCM but are you sure it's not hubby's leftovers from this morning? I never bother checking CM for at least 12 hours after CoC as it always looks wet & slippery regardless of what it did beforehand.

nomio How's the tummy today?

Welcome rachel - please tell us you mean you are on cycle 10 ttc and not ttc your 10th child..?!

glittery I got my opks from Amazon, which worked out the cheapest - I got this combo pack but they do other quantities too www.amazon.co.uk/Clinical-Guard-Ovulation-tests-Pregnancy/dp/B004JXHGQK/ref=pd_rhf_gw_p_img_7

ThePug · 18/05/2015 18:57

Boris Are you back at work already after your week away? Do you not even get a couple of days off to reacclimatize/get over jetlag? Or are you meant to use your weekend for that! Sorry for the triplebomb, totally totally not fair.

loopylou1984 · 18/05/2015 18:57

Thanks fig, yes, 1 less thing we'll have to pay for!

Dtd after pos opk is a must in case you're a mutant like me and sparkly who ov 2/3 days after our first positive opk! Xx
