I'm not currently tracking my ovulation with sticks (because DH will think I've finally cracked) but think I ovulate early in the month. Last time I poas at 4 days before my period was due because I'd already been throwing up for a week . Might get some for next month if AF arrives on the 28th tbh I'm bored/tired of all the sex

FF tells me I will ovulate on Friday and my fertile days are from tomorrow to Friday. We dtd last night and the plan is to dtd everyday from tomorrow up to Saturday morning and get in an extra go on Friday morning too as well as Friday night. I can just feel the exhaustion now

Oooh good news alert!!! I've just got Dp's SA results! They are greatly improved!! The lady on the phone couldn't believe it, she asked what he'd been doing to get such a turn around.
He has 102 million total count, this was 13 million in Jan!
And motility is 48%. (They were barely swimming in jan)
Morphology 5%
I'm so happy
She did say that given my age, she would only try for another 6 months and then go for ivf. She also said have lots of sex

Glittery, I agree. It gets boring very quickly! The thought of going through it all again next week makes my heart sink.

DH is off at his SA appointment. We should hopefully get the results in a couple of weeks. I am not massively worried, as everything has always been ok before, but slightly nervous.

Interestingly, our Dr told us that the NHS SA is rubbish. He has no faith in it as he says that it is not accurate at all. There is a much better test apparently, but it is expensive, so they stick with the crappy one! It might explain how some of our graduates got upduffed despite their DHs supposedly having really low counts.

Spinning that's excellent news. Has your DP been taking any supplements to improve his sperm? DH has his SA next week so I'm feeling quite nervous although his results have always been good.

I'm actually thinking DH and I need a full fertility MOT and I'm sitting on the fence with going private with this. It's all well and good going for acupuncture but I'm not sure what's actually going on inside that's not letting it happen for us again. I have acu booked tomorrow and the lady works alongside a fertility expert and is also trained in gynaecology so will see her and see whether she can offer any advice. It's a draining process this ttc and sex just becomes a chore.

Hah. Wait til you've been ttc for months and months and months n you literally can't bear the sight of each other's genitals. Long term ttc sex is ruinous. Fact.

I agree SAd tell us v little. The best test is one you have to pay for and it tells you exactly how long the sperm lives for after ejaculation. This is the one that leaves couples distraught when they've been ttc for years and then find out the fella's sperm only lives ten hours.

Just found out that a two friends are pregnant and a lady at work is too. Three in one day.

Hi Rache, nice to have another fresh face. The best advice I can give is to make sure you have sex at other times of the month too. That way DH doesn't feel like he is just a sperm machine, and you remember that it can be fun, not just stressful.

I also find talking about it helps. DH and I make a joke of the fact that TTC sex gets boring, rather than trying to pretend we are both feeling really passionate for a week every month!

Lastly, just bear in mind that every boring, monotonous shag gets you closer to your baby! It will happen eventually.

I always thought you would ovulate 24-36 hours after positive/peak OPK.
