Are you sick to the tits of baby-making sex? Or are you squelching with rabid lust when the lickle hand strikes cock o' clock? Have you already picked Sophia and Hugo as your baby names? Do you want to gouge out the smug eyes of the pregnant women in Sainsbo's? Do you shove balloons up your Boden sweater and pretend you have baby in your tum-tum? Have you already picked out your Farrow & Ball nursery paint? GREAT! Then you're just like us: We are the friendliest, wittiest, gayest, animal-lovingest, cervical-hunting women you will ever meet.

Come on, you frightened little trying-to-conceive mice...come join the fun on the Bumsnet bus. You know you wanna Smile

Where is DizzyMerry?

Speaking of decadent treats we have recently moved up from 2- to 3-ply bog roll in my gaff. Thanks, diarrhoea!

Oh purdie , at least you're not all backed up now!

eskimo with that logic you must be upduffed! When are you poas Grin ?

nomio did someone bring you food whilst you were in bed? I couldn't not eat til 5.30pm!

Welcome to sandman Fx for you this month (I am also just back in the game following mc in April).

I had a nice shopping trip to primark yesterday for holiday stuff and finished redecorating the walls around our new french doors today, only 2 months after they were fitted! That's about all I have achieved this weekend.

Another mid-strength opk for me today. So much for "not properly trying" this month! I just want to know what might be going on with my cycle really, and when to expect AF - which is highly likely to appear on my birthday I think, booo.

ibeka · 17/05/2015 19:42

sand welcome. I too am on the TWW first month of trying after a MC in March... Come sit with me!

How's everyone's Sundays? Purds you sound like you've been busy. I've had siblings plus niece and nephews over for a BBQ. Lovely afternoon (although I'm knackered from playing 'it') and so nice to see the garden we've been transforming over the past 15 months come to life with kids running round in it. Bittersweet, though, cos I so want it to be my kids.... and now, like. I'm no good at being patient.

juners! there's no going back from FB official! Very chuffed for you Smile

I have convinced myself I'm upduffed through furious symptom spotting. Someone knock some sense into me...

ThePug · 17/05/2015 19:45

ibeka We can't possibly comment until you've listed your symptoms for us to scrutinise...

eskimoflo · 17/05/2015 19:55

Ooooh he ain't bad is he Purdie? Although his hair is a bit fluffy... picky

The Pug I am following SMEP this month. I have been told by SMEP to DTD today and then test 15 days after the positive OPK, which for me will be Friday 29th May. I like being told what to do. It means that I will do it. I've marked it on my calendar and everyfink Smile Of course, I still have blood tests tomorrow morning (CD28) and then again Friday morning (CD32), so I may well just wait at least to see if I have actually ovulated. If I have, I'll test. If not, I will cry a bit, moan to you lot and then call the clinic and demand clomid. Hmm

Ibeka You sound like you've had a productive day. My Sunday included shaving my bits, trimming my pubes, eating Frankie and Benny's, playing Pet Rescue, watching Corrie and picking up poo from the garden.

Nomio230 · 17/05/2015 19:57

Purdie, I had terrible diarrhoea last night/this morning too. I heard noises come out of my rear end that I never wish to hear again.

Pug, I got up halfway through for food, but was asleep a lot of the time. Blush

Welcome Sandman. I am so sorry to hear about your MC. I hope you are upduffed again soon.

Ibeka, what symptoms do you have? Itchy fingernails? Warts on your feet?!

Pixa · 17/05/2015 20:00

Welcome Sandman.

Glittery the photo isn't fantastic! I shall see what I can do though.

Night A nice walk sounds lovely.

Nomio That is some lay in!

DizzyNorth Have you done anything creative before that you enjoyed? My MIL is doing jewellery making which looks great, I really wanted something I do for when I have children though. I don't know how much time we will have to explore Blenheim because we are going there to see a pianist/composer. I will keep an eye out for afternoon tea. I am always happy to indulge in decadence.

Purdie Of course, but only after we have served the petit fours. Laughing at your statement about large teeth!

Sparkly If you are ever reading, I hope you are doing well.

Pixa · 17/05/2015 20:04

Nervously awaits scrutiny.

't is very bright but we thought it should be bright and summery for when we have the children visit.

I need to eliminate the weeds, power wash the patio, add the fasteners to the foam slips and just add some finishing touches now.

eskimoflo · 17/05/2015 20:10

Pixa It's fab! Love the colours x

DizzyNorthernBird · 17/05/2015 20:22

Oooh I love it pixa!

I have an A level in art and design so clearly I do have creativity in me somewhere but it's a side of me I lost touch with a long time ago. Oooh was it you that was going to see Einaudi there? DP loves Einaudi, I wonder if there's any tickets left.....

purdie I'm pretty sure Dominic West played Fred West in a drama I saw a few years ago....can't really see beyond that now Confused. Whilst on the subject of Dominics, I've always quite liked Dominic Cooper tho Grin

Nomio230 · 17/05/2015 20:23

That looks brilliant, Pixa. I am I awe of your creative furniture skills!

eskimoflo · 17/05/2015 20:24

Dizzy! Dominic Cooper is LUSH.

purdiepie · 17/05/2015 20:32

Crikey, Pixa, it's terrific! Well done!

Nomio, I just howled laughing at your terrifying bum noises..so much so that DH had to rewind his forensic murder series as my laughing drowned out the dialogue.

Eskimo, I am like a child waiting for Christmas when I envisage your post telling us you've ovulated. How's your darling boy?

Juney, I'm so chuffed about your relationship Smile

I trimmed my pubes last weekend and blunted my secateurs.

Pixa · 17/05/2015 20:32

Thanks all, it's a bit rough around the edges, but I can always change bits as and when needed. I am still not convinced by the colours, was extremely nervous when buying the fabric. Ha ha,

Yes Dizzy, I am going to see Einaudi there. I need to buy a lovely summery dress. Very excited about it. Cannot wait. Yes to Dominic Cooper as well. Grin

loopylou1984 · 17/05/2015 20:33

Purdie - We were going for eod (the 2 in a row was cuz dh was away the next night) so dtd the night of 15th, skipped 16th and should do it again tonight. Every day clearly wasn't working so thought we'd try this. You really think we've ruined our chances this month? HmmHmm

purdiepie · 17/05/2015 20:36

EEEEEeeeeeeuuuuurgh!!!!! Gay werewolf, innit.

Aww thanks Purds I've really got my hopes up this time. Blush It's been 6 months since I came off the pill. Has my body sorted itself out?! I will be gutted if not, but at least I can tell the consultant for definite. x

purdiepie · 17/05/2015 20:44

Oh, Sammy, don't listen to me. I just thought it odd that you only had sex once after the positive opk, when it's your most fertile time. I can't help thinking about that article we all discussed on here that said, for the majority of couples, sperm will only last 1.5 days on average even when ewcm is present. I think it's important to concentrate sex on the day of the opk and the three days after (for those who ov two whole days after the LH surge).

Have any of our preggos conceived from sex three or four days before ov?

eskimoflo · 17/05/2015 20:44

Thanks for the pic too. Mmmmmmmm Grin My boy is ok, thank you for asking. He's still limping, so we've made another appointment for him on Thursday and will see what the Vets say for the next course of action Hmm

ThePug · 17/05/2015 20:44

Oh poor you nomio your body's not playing very nicely at the moment is it. Did you eat something dodgy last night or is it a bug? Hope you're feeling a bit better now.

Pixa that's fab! wonder if I can do anything with the single pallet that has been in our garden for coming up to three years Blush My BiL played Einaudi at our wedding when the guests were arriving. Have you heard of Phamie Gow? Her music is similar and she has some lovely pieces.

Nomio230 · 17/05/2015 20:46

I am not keen on either of the Dominics. I think I have quite strange taste in men though. I don't tend to like most so called heartthrobs.

Pixa · 17/05/2015 20:51

Thanks Pug. I had Einaudi played at our wedding too, as I walked up the aisle. Smile Appreciate the heads up about Phamie Gow, never heard of her, although I will have a listen.

Single pallets can be good for planters. Grin

Nomio who do you like? I have odd taste. Today, Emun Elliott was on my hit list.

Ooo pixa love those pallet planters! That would look great in my garden my garden currently has no height
