Are you sick to the tits of baby-making sex? Or are you squelching with rabid lust when the lickle hand strikes cock o' clock? Have you already picked Sophia and Hugo as your baby names? Do you want to gouge out the smug eyes of the pregnant women in Sainsbo's? Do you shove balloons up your Boden sweater and pretend you have baby in your tum-tum? Have you already picked out your Farrow & Ball nursery paint? GREAT! Then you're just like us: We are the friendliest, wittiest, gayest, animal-lovingest, cervical-hunting women you will ever meet.

Come on, you frightened little trying-to-conceive mice...come join the fun on the Bumsnet bus. You know you wanna Smile

Congratulations melon what a lovely line Grin

ThePug · 17/05/2015 12:25

melon I'm so pleased for you Smile Congratulations!

DizzyMerry · 17/05/2015 14:38

Congratulations melon.

Sammy I think you might have ovulated but your temps are rising slowly. I only started temping last cycle and my temps were slow to rise after ov. Hopefully you'll get another rise tomorrow to confirm this.

I had acupuncture yesterday. The lady looked at my chart and said I'm a slow riser(!) and my temps are lower than what she would like to see post ov. She said we'll work on this with acupuncture. However, the main thing she's concerned about is my low ovarian reserve which I told her about. She said she wasn't about to suggest herbs to me as low prog is easy to correct but with low ovarian reserve herbs will be helpful to improve egg quality. It was a very relaxing session and the plan was that I have this weekly throughout one cycle and see how it goes. However, I've now booked an appointment for Tuesday with another lady who who works alongside Suzanna Blach. She had endo and found relief through acu and that's why she trained to become an acupuncturist. She has also trained in gynaecology and I feel her input may be better for me.

Melon!!!!!!!!! Flowers

DizzyMerry · 17/05/2015 14:39

Oh and I started taking epo this cycle and hope it doesn't delay ov for me Confused I think I'll stop taking it now.

woodpigeon123 · 17/05/2015 14:42

Congratulations melon!!

Rainy34 · 17/05/2015 15:13

Glad to see things are worked out Juney and you are now in a relationship , exciting times ahead!!

Dizzy I have been taking EPO for three months, the first two months my ov moved three days, this month i am not taking my high does of vitamin b complex and my ov date has gone back to normal, taking epo has made my nails lovely!!

I put the yoga dvd on last night, not looked at all of the sections just the relaxation and breathing techniques, it says to watch the first time and then try, I tried some of the techniques in the breathing section and i certainly felt more relaxed, I am going to keep at it and hopefully it de stresses me!!

DizzyMerry · 17/05/2015 15:21

Rainy I took vitamin b complex a couple of months ago and my lp went from 14 to 18 days so I stopped taking it. I hope my ov day also stays the same on epo. Where did you get the yoga dvd from? I might give it a try as it sounds good. Is it long winded or fairly easy to follow?

purdiepie · 17/05/2015 16:53

Sammy, I reckon you ov'd on CD16 and concentrated your baby-making efforts too early

Woss everyone up to? I'm making a giant meal (so what's new?) and looking forward to part two of The Affair tonight. How yummy is Dominic West?

I'm watching kendra & eating dark chocolate. Haven't got washed or dressed today. #spunkbucket

DizzyNorthernBird · 17/05/2015 17:32

I've had a weekend plans fail. I did do the 9 mile run but haven't roasted my chicken and we didn't go to Brighton for ice creams either as its too cloudy. We did go to Blenheim Palace for a walk around the grounds this morning but then came home early and spent the afternoon asleep! Fail!

Pixa · 17/05/2015 17:51

Oh DizzyNorth I have never been to Blenheim but I am going next month. Very excited about it!

My weekend has been ultra busy. Finished the pallet furniture! Now, I am planning a BBQ for next weekend - we will be hosting both sets of relatives which is always fab.

I have spent a lot of today sewing whilst watching rubbish TV The Paradise.

eskimoflo · 17/05/2015 17:54

Purdie Who's Dominic West? Confused

Dizzy That sounds like a perfect afternoon. Envy

Glittery Dirty Girl! My neighbour and I watched the first two episodes of Blacklist on Friday night. We had started watching Fortitude, and we were all excited for the second episode, but it has disappeared from Sky on Demand! Sad

DH and I went for a quick burger at Frankie and Benny's for lunch. Whilst we were there, I mentioned how I'd got my hope up that I'd actually ovulated this month. However, I said that even if I'd ovulated and we timed it exactly right and conditions were perfect, that there was only a 25% chance of getting preggers. He said how that was like tossing a coin twice and guessing right on both occasions. We then tossed a coin. I got heads right both times. We've now decided that I'm upduffed. That's how it works right? Grin

SandmanSlim · 17/05/2015 17:59

Eskimo I have a maths degree and that's exactly how stats works! Smile I may be lying on one of those points.

Can I join? I'm in my two week wait of the first month trying after a miscarriage in March and I'm going crazy.

eskimoflo · 17/05/2015 18:05

Sand Why would you lie about having a maths degree? Wink Of course you can join. I can teach you how to build an igloo if you like? You'll need more than a bucket and spade though. FX for you for the next two weeks! Flowers

Hairstylisttoboris · 17/05/2015 18:06

Welcome sandman

I'm sat in the sofa not doing a lot.
So far today our kettle has blown up and our coffee maker has stopped working, so I'm trying to sit still and not touch anything electrical that I like, incase I'm jinxed in some way.

We are going out for a lovely meal later and I have nothing to wear.... Ah dilemmas. What to do?

glitteryflange · 17/05/2015 18:32

Ah Eskimo I love The Blacklist. I have a crush on Red. Grin I'm all up to date with that series now tho. gonna have to find another series to get into.

glitteryflange · 17/05/2015 18:33

Oh pixa! Please upload a pic of your pallet furniture. I've seen so many on Pinterest and they all look fab.

SandmanSlim · 17/05/2015 18:49

Ooh I'd love to build an igloo.
Hair the kettle and coffee machine going at the same time would be disastrous. Where are you getting caffeine from?

nightandthelight · 17/05/2015 18:55

Welcome sand :)

On the way back from my grandma's, went on a lovely walk in the Malvern hills :) absolutely shattered now!

Nomio230 · 17/05/2015 18:58

Glittery, I have been super lazy today too. Didn't get out of bed until 5.30pm! I did shower though, because I was manky!

Pixa, pallet furniture sounds great. Pic please!

Congratulations Melon! That is a proper line. Smile

DizzyNorthernBird · 17/05/2015 19:05

pixa I want to see a pic of your furniture too! Well done on getting it finished. I still haven't worked out which creative hobby to try Confused. Blenheim is amazing, you'll love it. There's so much to do so make sure you give yourself plenty of time. We live nearby so we've taken advantage of the ticket upgrade for a years free entry, so we're doing a little bit each time we visit Smile. If you're feeling flush I would recommend booking afternoon tea in the Indian Room while you're there, it's pricey but a decadent treat.

eskimo that sounds like fate to me Smile

boris hope you found something to wear!

Welcome sandman, sorry to hear about the mc. Good luck for your tww! I'm cd5 and bored out of my skull!

purdiepie · 17/05/2015 19:08

WELCOME SANDMAN! Thanks for joining us. I'm sorry about your miscarriage, they are worse than a gypsy shitting in your mouth coz you won't buy his hevver.

Pixa, yes! show us the furniture! Is it fantastic? Do you play parlour games when your rellies come round?

Glittery, what's Kendra?

I bought foxgloves and sedum 'Autumn Joy' from the plant sale yesterday Smile Today I have diarrhoea Hmm

Bozzer, you 'az a poultergiste innit.

Night, is that in Derbyshire?

I do not understand stats. There is a woman of almost 49 over on the TTC over 40 thread who has an AMH of less than 0.01 who is pregnant and seemingly staying that way. Mind you, it took her 38 months of trying and four mc's Shock I hope it's a sticky one; the statistics for miscarriage at her age are more than 50%.

purdiepie · 17/05/2015 19:12

Th'Eskimo, here is Mr West. The things I wouldn't do to him you could fit on a pin head. Mind you, he spoils himself somewhat when he smiles; large teef innit.
