Is it normal to have EWCM the day after she has finished? I'm normally dry for a few days. Would of DTD but DH has his spermz exam today.
Will have to start bumping uglies soon. Such a chore lately innit!

Thanks Purdie. I know that, relatively, 9 months of TTC-ing isn't very long. I think DH put it positively in that if they tell us to wait a further 3 months, at least we have put it on the radar.

The studies I have researched aren't very clear, they suggest that men who have had undescended testis may have issues with infertility later in life. There is correlation between age of operation and infertility too. DH has had two operations; one on each side. One as a tot and one during primary school.

I just want DHs mind to be put at rest, and a way forward if we do hit the dreaded 12 month mark. For me, emotionally, I need an action plan. At least this helps us get a foot on the ladder if anything is wrong.

I went for a preconception visit with my doctor so she was aware that we would be TTCing.

pixa you will be fine, you're doing all this to get some answers and get closer to getting that bubba. Keep focused on asking all the questions you need to, yes it's been 9 months, and that does seem long in TTC world, but take heart from the many, many stories of couples for whom it does just take over a year to get preggo, even with no known issues. I got an email back from Reprogenesis telling me that Helena (our wonderful coordinator from last time) is on hols untiI 18th and that she - Katarina - would be dealing with me until then. Considering she ended her email with a ;) I would say this is highly unlikely as I resolutely refuse to speak with vacuous and puerile kidults.

Lucie, thanks for the heads-up 're Gennet waiting times. Oof! It was only a 4 month waiting time recently. Just shows how popular they are due to their great success rates. I am seriously concerned about their rate of twin conceptions: I honestly couldn't cope with 3 tots under 2.5 yrs, however, not having 2 embryos transferred is stupid unthinkable.

its me and boris who are due to POAS tomorrow but I don't think I'll bother. I stupidly tested yesterday and bfn. Covered in spots and boobs are really sore which are normal AF symptoms for me. She's on her way so won't waste another test

Don't get my 21 day blood test results til 20th which feels an age away! Worried if AF doesn't show and still bfn that I'm in for another 40 day cycle

I'm not testing tomorrow either, no sticks to piss on (appart from the rainforest of trees outside). I think being sick at the beginning of my cycle and then flying has knocked things out of normal routine for me. So we may be cycle buddies for longer than anticipated.

Ah melon. It sucks donkey cock doesn't it. Don't lose hope until AF is here. Some don't have BFP's until they are actually late. But you know your body better than us. Don't beat yourself up! Onto the next cycle!

Pixa, I hope your gp appt went well today. I also woke up nervous for mine but I couldn't go in the end. We have a system where you have to ring between 830-900am for an appt. I was expecting something fairly early but the best they could give me was midday which just wasn't doable with work so I didn't go in the end.

The doctor from the clinic got back to me and said they normally only recommend a hysteroscopy after 2 failed cycles but I could have it now if I wanted to but in her opinion it would be highly likely that it would be negative and not show anything as none of the ultrasounds and dildo cams I've had throughout the treatment have shown up any concerns. I'm not sure what to do now as if the 2nd round fails I don't want to be kicking myself and thinking the test might have shown up something which may have helped.

Purdie, I had an email back from Gennet today as I had emailed them about hysteroscopy she said I couldn't have it done there unless I was already a patient and had the consultation. She also said its more like 6 months wait now and sometimes even more! I wish we had got on the list when I started the first round now but never mind.

I will be giving acupuncture a go this cycle. I really don't care how 'woo' it is but I'm willing to try anything and as someone else said on here (sorry, can't remember who) IVF is a last resort for us. The NHS can only help with giving me clomid but as I'm already ovulating I don't see how it could help.
