Thanks Purdie. I know that, relatively, 9 months of TTC-ing isn't very long. I think DH put it positively in that if they tell us to wait a further 3 months, at least we have put it on the radar.
The studies I have researched aren't very clear, they suggest that men who have had undescended testis may have issues with infertility later in life. There is correlation between age of operation and infertility too. DH has had two operations; one on each side. One as a tot and one during primary school.
I just want DHs mind to be put at rest, and a way forward if we do hit the dreaded 12 month mark. For me, emotionally, I need an action plan. At least this helps us get a foot on the ladder if anything is wrong.
I went for a preconception visit with my doctor so she was aware that we would be TTCing.
