The Rules of Bumsnet

  1. Don't talk about Bumsnet
  2. Get the sperm in the hole
  3. Don't LPB. It's frowned upon.

I know what you mean, Night. Between OV predictors, Pre-seed, vitamins & supplements, it costs me a fortune!

I think the capsules seem perfectly safe. I am just going to get some from Holland and Barrett or Amazon.

frogbubbles · 06/05/2015 14:58

Plum there's fanjo stretching exercises?? Ha ha who would gave thought! After I had just given birth to DS I was asked if I had piles. Id just turned 18 an threw a massive strop that I hadn't got them. So he said I needed stitches so I cried I have the piles, I have the piles. It wasn't too bad and they let me have gas and air

autonomousplum · 06/05/2015 15:03

frog that's hilarious! Grin

Mummyofonesofar · 06/05/2015 15:05

Nomio it is normal to feel terrified, I was terrified first time and still am even though I have done it before!!

frog he should have known by looking if it was piles or a tear!!

DizzyNorthernBird · 06/05/2015 15:08

I'm up for giving the p. Massage a go, it's gotta be better than stitches! I seem to spend a disproportionate amount of time feeling around in my foof for cervix changes/cm anyway!

Nomio230 · 06/05/2015 15:23

Lol, Dizzy! I would definitely give it a go.

Thanks for the reassurance, Mummy. I guess it can't be that bad if you are doing it again!

frogbubbles · 06/05/2015 15:24

Mummy I wouldn't let him look properly. A female nurse did the stitching. I was very embarrassed, immature and naive, I had only just turned 18.

purdiepie · 06/05/2015 15:25

Pointless worrying about tearing; you have no control over the size or position of your baby's head. Perineal massage will do sod all if you're about to birth the elephant man.

Mummyofonesofar · 06/05/2015 15:38

Nomio I am not sure I was reassuring! You just have to look on the stats to see lots trying for DC#2+ - it is awful and magical all at the same time.

Frog aw bless you! Well done on managing to still get embarrassed after letting people stare at your foof for hours!

Mummyofonesofar · 06/05/2015 15:56

I forgot to update you all yesterday - we had a trip to the dentists yesterday afternoon and....DS was given a filling!!! I am such a bad Mother and he is excitedly telling everyone he sees about it - I am sure the whole school will have been told today. Blush

nightandthelight · 06/05/2015 17:54

Just went for a run, second time since three week break and I despair at how rubbish I have become :( oh well I guess the main thing is that I go and push myself a little harder each time!

wotsits1 · 06/05/2015 18:12

I tore horrifically with dd and lived to tell the tale. No point worrying. Que Sera Sera etc etc.

DizzyMerry · 06/05/2015 18:21

Me too wotsits. If you're going to tear you will no matter what.

Well done on the run night. You've identified that you need that extra push and I'm sure you'll be great in no time.

nightandthelight · 06/05/2015 18:31

Thanks Merry :) I have a 5k fun run in June so something to aim for! Three weeks ago 5k was pips, now I can't even imagine it :(

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 06/05/2015 18:42

Don't worry frog I have a wonky cervix and had it lasered due to abnormal cells.
Sammy for you www.carefertility.com/care-fertility-sc0/caremaps-and-time-lapse-embryo-imaging-maximising-success-sj39/
Have a look at the clinic you'll use to see what treatments they offer, it says here they all have the embryoscope.

DizzyMerry · 06/05/2015 18:46

Oh and I have a wonky cervix too! 'Tilted uterus' is the word the sonographer used. Will try lying on my stomach after dtd next cycle.

mrsb0710 · 06/05/2015 18:47

I really wanted to post here, and no be looked 'down upon' for being a LPB. I'm not here to wave my Piss stick around, but to thank you all for the support that was given to me. Today, I can say I am pregnant, and the rest I have to take a day at a time.

I shall lurk and see how you all are getting on, but I won't stay to step on anyone's toes. Thank you and much love to everyone for helping me get my BFP.

Mrsb!! Congratulations lovely :). Did you just find out today? Xx

loopylou1984 · 06/05/2015 18:50

And thank you Purple, I'll have a look. Xx

mrsb0710 · 06/05/2015 18:51

I did Sammy. Did 3 tests. Think I'm about 3 weeks along. I rang dh at work to tell him. I'll ask for an early scan for reassurance. Have had really bad cramps and a little spotting, but think it's just implant.

autonomousplum · 06/05/2015 18:53

autonomousplum · 06/05/2015 18:54

What's news with sparkly or is she just not coming up in my feed?

DizzyMerry · 06/05/2015 18:56

Mrsb I was looking through the stats last night and was thinking of you! What lovely news. Congratulations Flowers Cake I hope everything goes well for you lovely.

autonomousplum · 06/05/2015 18:57

I think most people tear. I have no friends who didn't have first or second degree tears, and two with third degree and one with a fourth degree. Sucks major. Know I'm soo-ooooo lucky I didn't, but had very bad grazing to make up for it. All the shit no one tells you about. still bitter, now tells everyone whether they want to know or not
