Bloody hell, I'm sorry Beaky. Hope college manages to keep your brain occupied for the rest of the day.

beakybeak · 09/06/2015 10:39

Thanks everyone. Bleeding has now gone to a brown spotting (like the end of AF Confused) and clinic have said to keep taking cyclogest and still come in for bloods on Thursday. I feel like I'm getting thrush now though. So sorry for the tmi.

Kuma I am literally crossing everything that I have for you, I really really hope this is successful.

Hugs to everyone still super emotional, sorry

Gillster · 09/06/2015 11:16

Beaky, I don't want to get your hopes up for them to be dashed on Thurs but your bleed sounds a bit like mine at 5.5 weeks (lasted about a day, bright red then brown). I was told that it was either the Cyclogest irritating my cervix or one if the embryos disappearing (I'm inclined to think the latter). Therefore there's still a chance that one of your embies is still hanging on in there. I'm keeping everything crossed for you that this is the case. Sending hugs of strength for this very stressful time. X

WildflowerMarmalade · 09/06/2015 13:07

Interesting post Gillster. Hope you are doing ok Beaky sending big hugs.

I came across this the other day and thought of you all...

Arghh Gill I don't dare even hope. I usually have short af's though and don't have any symptoms at all.

I've managed to get dh to agree that we can pay use our credit cards for another round if we can't have an NHS one so I at least I have the confirmation we can definitely try again for sure.

Wild that is so accurate. I fucking hate fertile myrtle.

nolly3 · 09/06/2015 13:45

oh hai gil how are you doing? you must be about 9 weeks now is that right? how have you found it so far?

wild sad but funny :)

nolly3 · 09/06/2015 13:46

akk posted too soon. beaky hope is a terrifying thing but I am crossing every appendage i own and several I don't for you

nolly3 · 09/06/2015 13:47

less than 24 hours tho beaky? is that normal for you?

Gillster · 09/06/2015 14:21

I'm fine thanks Nolly. Actually week 10 today and had my booking in appointment with the MW this morning. 12 week scan booked for 24th. If it's OK with you ladies, can I continue to lurk behind the sofa until my scan? I promise I'll pootle off to the copter proper once that's done. X

Stay Gill. I didn't treat anything as real before the 12 weeks. I hope all is going well for you. Are you still on hormonal support?

This will make all you ladies cry in your soup.
There is a woman I kind of work with who a few years ago had a surprise pregnancy, you know the deal, no idea until she went into labour.
About 5 years later, same thing again. Another 18 months on and guess what!

Antonia79 · 09/06/2015 16:31

Crossing my fingers for you Beaky Flowers

Been for the results today so the good news is that my womb is not made of jelly and it's in good shape, I'm ovulating normally and I'm in pretty good shape generally. The other news is that I need a laparoscopy and dye test to check my tubes as left is totally blocked by something and the other is pretty narrow. Waiting list for surgery is three months. Once we know what they've discovered during surgery, we'll have a better idea of what our options are.

It sounds weird but I feel a BIG relief more than anything because they found something that looks to be the cause of problem!

Pipbin · 09/06/2015 17:07

Ant you sound exactly like me. I had one blocked and one rubbish tube. Good to hear that your womb is not made of jelly after all! Surgery was fine, the oddest thing was that it made my shoulders hurt afterwards!

beakybeak · 09/06/2015 18:36

Ahh Gill don't go! You'll be missed. But I am over the moon everything is going well so far, fx for your 12ws too. Also who will do our lists now!

Nolly yeah a day of proper bleeding followed by usually 2 days of AF just tailing off. And thanks for all of the crossing! Have you managed to get booked in to start your IVF cycle yet?

Thanks minx and AntoniaI'm not hopeful though. Antonia that's good that you have a possible explanation there, 3 mths isn't too bad and they may then just refer you for IVF straight away. Glad you don't have a lime Jellie womb though!

Pip wtaf at your colleague! Oh my fricken god.

HampshireBlues · 09/06/2015 19:01

Pip never mind crying, I want to hurl something at her....Cake

Beaky I still have everything crossed for you.

Antonia I'm glad that your appointment went well and that you are getting some answers. Three months should whizz past

Gill glad that you had your booking appoinment today and have a date for you 12wk scan.

I'm trying not to panic abut tomorrow, for some reason I am convinced that they will find an empty sac so anxiety levels are high. Our appointment I pant until the end of the day so will need to crack on at work and hope that distracts me!

beakybeak · 09/06/2015 19:45

Aw HB all fingers crossed for you, best of luck and a big hug to get you through.

Pipbin · 09/06/2015 20:19

How many weeks are you HB?

This colleague is a silly cow to be very blunt. She is over 40 so plenty old enough to know better but she has just ignored it and hoped it would go away. She hasn't had any scans or health checks for her or the baby.

HampshireBlues · 09/06/2015 20:54

That's just selfish and irresponsible. I hope that the baby is ok.

I'm 6+4 today so am hoping that we will see something tomorrow. DH and I have two weeks booked off from Friday and are waiting on these results before booking to go away; our first holiday abroad in nearly two years. TTC really can put your life on hold.

tigerdog · 09/06/2015 21:00

Hi kuma that sounds like a good plan. When will you start the cycle?

beaky hope you're ok. Still hoping there is hope Flowers Will you poas to check prior to your blood test?

hb wishing you lots of luck for tomorrow.

Defintely stick around gil and promise to pop back and keep us up to date on progress even when you do go.

Love the game wild I think I'm behind the starting line at the moment Confused. How's everything going?

Antonia glad the appointment went well. I had a lap and dye. Was told the same about waiting lists, but checked the consultant that was doing it, then called their secretary and asked to be considered for cancellations - 10 days later I was in! Worth working the system if you want to move it on Wink

WTAF with your work colleague pip I refuse to believe that she didn't know - more that she just wouldn't accept it or ignored it somehow. Weird in the extreme.

Speaking of being emotional, I just cried at dog rescuers. Some people are plain evil. Af not too far off so in the emotional downturn phase of the cycle!

Some good news though. Saw the GP today and have been referred on to a new FC local to me. So glad that I will hopefully get another NHS round. Redoing all my tests next week when I'll be at day 3, as most of my results are 18 months old.

nolly3 · 09/06/2015 21:12

pip goddamm her to hell and back. Can we have her shot?

what time is your scan HB? remember you have as good a chance as anyone else at this point. FX so tightly for you.

beaky what a mind bending head fuckery of an experience. I'm so sorry pet. Can i recommend some Jon Snurr to cheer you up? img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140629153115/gameofthrones/de/images/5/55/Jon-Snow-Season-4-jon-snow-36898045-745-1004.jpg I emailed my FC today to get a booking for july/august, so with luck might be cyclign with rain, possibly barking :)

kuma how are you feeling vis a vis DP being abroad? Sounds exciting although not ideal from an conception (or indeed parenting) PoV. You sound in a good place mentally tho.

Good news that you feel better post app, ant. a woman with a plan. this is what we like. excellent news about your womb being of normal tissue composition too, congrats ;)

tiger how are you doing lovely?

mminx there were a few woman's hour lately, mainly hosted by Jane Garvey, o fertility or lack thereof. Worth a listen.

gil of course you must stay! Stay and tell us that it doesn't get any easier once you get your BFP. It must be quite lonely with all those crazy symptoms, lack of, no one to talk to - that's what we're here for. Speaking for myself I would always hope that berries felt able to share all neurosis, rational or irrational, in the secure knowledge of a willing and supportive audience.

I'm still insane, berries. In fact it's official - officially insane. Using my time off to swoon over jon snurr NO SPOILERS PLS i'm only on s0506. Srlsy though he is sew dreamy.

hallo all other berries. We seem to have lost a few by the wayside pont, bedhead I'm looking at you. And what's nwe happy, Smidge, spare? hallo anyone else!

nolly3 · 09/06/2015 21:12

xpost tiger ace news about new referral - is that down sarf?

beakybeak · 09/06/2015 21:24

Totally selfish, anything could be going on and she is ignoring all of the risks. How bizarre. Poor baby.

HB how exciting for you, where are you thinking of going? Still sending good vibes for your scan tomorrow.

Tiger brilliant! Fx for a quick referral and hopefully another round quickly too. Do you get choose which FC you will go to? Did your FC not redo your bloods before IVF?

tigerdog · 09/06/2015 21:29

Yep nolly at uclh/crgh. Much better than my last FC. Also Cake and Flowers to help you through the insanity. You've been through a hellavalot these last few months.

For some reason I have 'blinging up baby' on. Omfg. Shock

nolly3 · 09/06/2015 21:46

thanks tiger, bless you. Didn't really realise how things had been til I stopped - often the way. Are you feelng OK yourself?
