I was on holiday hence no temps at the beginning of the month. I might not temp for a week or so now though, it's nice to to have to set an alarm! Xx

parsnipbob · 01/05/2015 07:02

Wish that sounds normal to me. When I temped orally my pre o temps were much lower than that - mostly in the 35s. Now I temp vaginally they're about 36.2- 36.4 pre o.

loopylou1984 · 01/05/2015 07:08

Just realised I messed up when half asleep this morning and put data in for yesterday instead of today! Revised chart attached :)

Thanks for the advice ladies.

If I have not luck this month, I'll look into getting my head around temping.

CarrotVan · 01/05/2015 07:41

I'm fine thanks Woolly - a bit sick, a lot tired and still testing just in case. Just packed up my Clear Blue trial box to send back.

To be honest I've been so busy at work and we've had such crap family news recently (my nephew has to go to the States for last ditch Cancer treatment, MrVan's uncle died etc...) that it's not sunk in

Sarah - your stats are username, age and age of partner if appropriate, whether you're trying to conceive your first or second etc, how many cycles you've been trying for, and particular supplements/approaches (like temping, charting, or using opks)

They get added to the spreadsheet and people can offer you more tailored support, you can see who might be trying the same approaches or testing at the same time and so on

nightandthelight · 01/05/2015 08:12

Welcome newbies :)

I was a bit gratified this morning to log into fb and see that some friends of my DH are at the end stage of the adoption process due to male factor infertility, so happy that they are going to get their child soon! Also nice to see a more balanced view of fertility, not just people popping out babies left, right and centre :)

####stats####
sarah1391, we r both 24, away to start trying for our first this weekend! Will be difficult to plan anything as my partner works away so really we just have to try when hes at home and hope for the best! Also i've recently came off the pill, had my first 'real' period from 10th to 14th april (i used to have quite long cycles anyway but have been on the pill for 9 years) so if anyone has any experiences of coming off the pill please share :)

DizzyMerry · 01/05/2015 11:07

Welcome Sarah. How long have you been ttc?

Carrot sorry about all the bad news. I hope the treatment goes well for your nephew Flowers

Night that's such good news for your DH's friends. It's heartwarming to hear about adoption even though they must have had such a tough journey.

My pre ov temps have been around 35 and only shot up after ov.

DizzyMerry · 01/05/2015 11:11

Crossposts Sarah good luck.

sarah1391 · 01/05/2015 11:21

Hi Dizzy...havent been able to try yet! Came off the pill and decided to wait until i had a 'real' period (as i read that ur meant to do that) and as soon as my period came, my partner left for work! He will be home today though so ttc as of...today!

TeenieDeenie · 01/05/2015 11:24

Hi all, can I please join in? First month ttc for me again after an mmc at 11+5 in December. Finally feel ready physically and emotionally to hop back on (so to speak lol). Cycles are all over the place since but using the CB dual hormone OV kit to try and pinpoint ovulation.

My stats are as follows - TeenieDeenie, 35, ttc dc1, bfp due 22/05.

Thanks Smile x

DizzyMerry · 01/05/2015 12:07

It's great to have so many newbies. Welcome teenie Smile so sorry for your loss. Hope your journey here is short.

Can you please put me out of my misery and tell me what your cm looks like post ov? I always worry that my post ov cm indicates AF!

TeenieDeenie · 01/05/2015 12:32

Thanks Dizzy Smile

With regards to your cm question, this is from the Fertility Friend website -

"After ovulation, fertile fluid dries up very quickly and the vagina remains more or less dry until the next cycle. Some women may notice small amounts of fertile-looking fluid after ovulation as the corpus luteum produces small amounts of estrogen, but you are not at all fertile after ovulation has been confirmed."

However, the month I conceived I continued to have quite alot of thick, creamy cm right up until AF was due so could be a good sign if you don't normally have cm post ov! FX!!!!

DizzyMerry · 01/05/2015 12:49

Thanks for that info teenie you're a star! Phew!!! Thought I was odd with having quite thick, gloopy cm post ov and always thought it was a sign of doom. Though I did get it with DD just before bfp so may just be normal for me. It's mostly snotty coloured though!

auxiliaryauroch · 01/05/2015 12:57

Hi all still on hols but phone connected en route to manor house history trip so am peeking in. And xposting with update. Looks like my soy foray indeed brought forward a positive opk by four days and ovulation by six days from cd25 to cd19. I am now 7 dpo and no AF yet which is an improvement on my five day LP for the last four cycles. I'm xf that I make it to 9dpo at least! That would be unbelievably awesome. Sorry for no comments on other posts right now. All Me me me. Will catch up next week when home again. Flowers
Thanks for the May bus night! Will post stats when back online properly!

polexiaaphrodesia · 01/05/2015 13:01

Hi, can I join too? First month ttc and haven't even had a proper AF after coming off the pill yet so no idea what's going to happen in the next few weeks..

Stats are - polexiaaphrodesia, 29, ttc #1, af due 21/05 assuming 28 day cycle Hmm

I'm coming off Yasmin so if anyone has any experiece of how long it took AF to return it would be appreciated!

Hairstylisttoboris · 01/05/2015 13:10

dizzy I get that too. Completely gross :)

Hairstylisttoboris · 01/05/2015 13:16

Welcome to more new passengers. Make yourselves at home :)

night and sammy think you both had temp dips? Sorry if I got that wrong, I'm struggling to keep up. But big hugs to you both. You are not out until the red river runs but tgeremo dips must be distressing.
Big hug to you sammy for the rocky ride you are in right now. I think I'd pay to go private for tests and save money drinking only tap water or something. The wait for you is too long.

My dildo cam appointment has arrived. I'm in on Friday at a random hospital across the county and miles away. Still at least I have it. All I need now is for DH to register with a doctor and get his frigging SA done.

DizzyMerry · 01/05/2015 13:16

Aux wow, that's excellent news. So pleased for you. Hope you're having a fab holiday.

Welcome polex Smile no experience of the pill as I only took it briefly years ago but I'm sure someone will be along shortly.

Thanks boris that's reassuring. How are you feeling now?

LazyDaisy99 · 01/05/2015 13:16

Hi polexia, nice to meet you Smile I've just come off Yasmin too, I'm on my second cycle, first one took 42 days until AF arrived which got me thinking something had happened already but no, on cd18 currently of cycle 2 so goodness knows how long this one will be!

Hairstylisttoboris · 01/05/2015 13:27

dizzy I still have swollen tonsils and a headache but better than I was. Thanks for asking. I'm bored of being sick. It's been three weeks nearly now since I felt well. We weren't able to dtd this month so I'm out again before AF flows. It's heart breaking to miss an opportunity.

polexiaaphrodesia · 01/05/2015 13:34

Thanks Lazy, I think it will take a while for AF to return to be honest. 15 years of the pill means my ovaries probably don't know what to do!

Bit worried about what my periods will be like when they return as the reason I went on the pill in the first place was because they were so heavy and painful. It was okay when I was at school but now I have job and travel for work I'm not looking forward to AF's arrival!
