In a week's time I shall be going on holiday abroad at 7 weeks pregnant. I'm really hoping I'm not feeling too ill! I've called the travel insurance people and its not a medical condition that I needed to share and as long as you're not flying against medical advice you're fine.

pug will be thinking of you tomorrow. I remember the fear (and hunger!) of ERPC day. You will be ok I hope they look after you well, I had the most lovely doctor who woke me up from my anaesthetic and said "the next time I see you, you'll be on the labour ward having your baby" which i was very touched about (although now trying not to think that that won't be 'this year')

melon - I saw a lovely consultant last Tuesday who spoke with me for ages and was really sweet but on her way out she said 'and we'll be seeing you back here for your antenatal appointments next year' - if I hadn't been snivvling so much at that point I would have retorted that I hope it'll be a lot sooner than next year!

I asked a lot of doctors, including the high risk obstetrician, about flying and was told it makes absolutely no difference to the pregnancy.

Sparkly I'm feeling a lot better now that the shock has worn off. Have been out for a little walk and the fresh air has done me good. Thanks for asking. How are you doing?

Creme I think it's fine to fly in the first trimester from everything I've heard and read so I would carry on ttc as you say 3 months is a long time to wait for something which you really want.
