The Rules of Bumsnet

You can shag, you can syringe, you can temp, you can OPK; as long as your aim is a BFP!

We're cliquey so fuck off. LPB will be annihilated.

Make sure you're on the ###Bumsnet Bumstats###

A temp of 35.68 must mean I've been mouth breathing, right?

Broken thermometer generally puts me at in between 36.10-36.18.....

Suppose I'd better opk again today just in case and figure out a cunning plan to woo DP seeing as I promised last night was the last night of babyshagging

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 27/04/2015 07:45

Hope your appointment goes well Sammy

nightandthelight · 27/04/2015 08:07

Thinking of you today pug!

Good luck with your appt Sammy :)

Pretty sure now that either I ovd on CD9 or I am having an anovulatory cycle. Either way it's just a waiting game now although I will try and jump DH tonight just in case Grin

DizzyNorthernBird · 27/04/2015 08:18

You covered cd9 well though didn't you night? Fx it's not anovulatory. They're frigging annoying.

Have just tested the water with DP. Apparently his balls hurt today because we've dtd too much over the weekend! He's not used to doing it this much, bless him, but at least he's put in a bit of extra effort this month. Will try again on him tonight Grin

DizzyNorthernBird · 27/04/2015 08:20

I'm off to meet my friend today for shopping. It's refreshing spending time with her because she doesn't have or want children, so there will be little baby talk.

Knowing my luck she'll tell me she's accidentally upduffed after missing the pill once.

nightandthelight · 27/04/2015 08:21

Dtd CD7,9 and 10 Dizzy. Didn't get the magical day before ov but otherwise it's pretty good :)

You go get him girl!

purdiepie · 27/04/2015 08:24

DizzyN I would suggest you're ovulating today.

Butter, in what way are you not well, love?

I feel crap in my Matalan clothes. Cheap shoes are killing me and I look like a clown in my stupid trousers. Meh.

frogbubbles · 27/04/2015 08:32

Morning lovelies, just having a quick catch up before I start work.

Pug thinking of you lots today and sending hugs. It's such a sad situation, we are all here to support you so post away.

Sammy hope your appointment goes well today.

I have ginger skin, and can't wear fake tan as it goes streaky with factor 3000 I have to wear ha ha!!

Well AF is in full swing now Hmm so new stats.

froggy, 33, ttc2, c3, BFP due 26th May##

MelonMelon · 27/04/2015 08:34

Morning all. Well I'm under the weather today but a tummy bug and hayfever on top. Don't want to take anything as I'm worried it'll affect/delay ovulation.

God let me hide under the duvet please I can't be a grown up today Sad

Woolly84 · 27/04/2015 08:42

Hope everything goes okay today for sammy and pug Flowers

Boo for full on AF frog but at least you know you're properly onto the next cycle now.

AF not in full swing here yet so will hold off on posting a stats update until I know when CD1 is!

night hope it was just early ovulation for you.

enjoy shopping dizzyn!

purds maybe you just need to wear the shoes in, or else there's always Clarks! (I'll pretty much only get work heels from there now)

loopylou1984 · 27/04/2015 08:45

Thanks for the good lucks everyone.

Pug, thinking of you today.

Purdie (or anyone else who's in the same situation) - if you ovulate on your own anyway how comes you were on clomid? Just wondering if it likely to be something I am offered? Xx

nightandthelight · 27/04/2015 08:50

So Google says ovukating early is bad :( am going to keep temping for a few more cycles then to see if this was a one off.

frogbubbles · 27/04/2015 08:50

Thanks woolly it's been toying with me all weekend, but at least it's here now and I can start prepping for this month!! Sorry to hear yours has sort of arrived too, big hugs.

Woolly84 · 27/04/2015 08:56

But if you're luteal phase is decent night that's okay no?

Thanks frog Smile

Woolly84 · 27/04/2015 08:57

Your not you're!*

nightandthelight · 27/04/2015 08:59

Unless AF arrives earlier than it has ever done before then my lp is 14 days which is great woolly :)

However the issue with early ov seems to be that the eggs haven't had a chance to mature so will be less likely to be fertilised or to implant. Also there might not have been enough time for lining to build up thus further impeding implantation. Anyone know more about this ?

spinningirl10 · 27/04/2015 09:00

Morning Grin

Pug, thinking of you.

Sammy, good luck with your appointment.

Dizzy, that temp is low, maybe you did have your mouth open.

Woolly, sorry af's arrived. Remember new cycle, new hope.

Riceicle, I hope you're feeling a little brighter today. You can absolutely do this. It's hard at times especially if it's on your mind continuously. Keep thinking positively, your Bfp will soon be here.

Purdey, I think you'll be in the office barefoot today. Nothing worse than uncomfortable shoes when you have the rest of the day in them.

Agh, I can't remember anything else!
Oh sun talk! I love the sun, Always feel better with a tan. It's a beautiful day here todaySmile

spinningirl10 · 27/04/2015 09:10

Ooh Glittery, are you off on your hols today, have a fabulous timeGrin

chopsface · 27/04/2015 09:24

night I ovd early and now I'm 6 weeks preggo today :-D how early is early though?

Hope you're all ok. Feel better soon melon nomio Boris and anyone else under the weather!

nightandthelight · 27/04/2015 09:25

CD9 chops! What were you? Wow can't believe it's six weeks already!

Mummyofonesofar · 27/04/2015 09:53

I have missed loads on the old bus and have no hope catching up, I still have a few pages to go on this bus but just wanted to send my love to Pug today. I hope you get on ok and it is over with quickly and you come around well afterwards. xx

frogbubbles · 27/04/2015 09:54

Spinning I like your motto new cycle, new hope Smile

Awww chops 6weeks so lovely Smile

chopsface · 27/04/2015 10:01

Believe me, it feels like its going slow!

Sammy I wasn't offered Clomid as I ov on my own.

night I got a pos opk on cd12 so I guess not THAT early. Its just it had been around 16/17 the previous 5 months ish!

Woolly84 · 27/04/2015 10:06

Ah okay night, I see what you mean, hopefully somebody can give some advice on that. But as chops has proved it doesn't mean you're out of the game! (Big whoop on 6 weeks by the way chops!!)

Thank you spinning, yes I like the "new cycle, new hope" motto too, let's add it to the Bumsnet zen board alongside "anything is possible"! Check us out with our positive thinking Grin

nightandthelight · 27/04/2015 10:06

Thanks chops :) I think my lp is 14 days so on the cycles where it's 26 days I should ov on CD12 which will be fine :) Problem is that is only 50% of the time so maybe I only get a chance on average every other month rather than every month :(
