The Rules of Bumsnet

You can shag, you can syringe, you can temp, you can OPK; as long as your aim is a BFP!

We're cliquey so fuck off. LPB will be annihilated.

Make sure you're on the ###Bumsnet Bumstats###

Well here you are! You filled the thread whilst I was gone?! What have I missed?

Back from a massive Sunday lunch. I'm so full. My AF has kicked in with full force and I'm in cramping hell. Blargh.

But at least this cycle was only 35 days, rather than the 70 days previously! So new STATS for me...

Queenbee30 · 26/04/2015 17:33

My DH just made me a hot water bottle without me asking. I might burst with love right now (and cry over hormonal happy tears)

Nomio230 · 26/04/2015 17:35

Pug, please don't worry that your posts are all about you right now.. It is completely understandable given what you are going through. We are all worried about you & hoping that tomorrow goes as well as possible. Flowers

Purdie, £92 of free clothes is pretty cool. Go you, with your capsooool wardrobe!

Juney, I would love it if the son of god was born to a single lesbian! Just think how all those bigoted old religious nuts would feel.

(I don't mean you lovely religious ladies, I mean the ones who think gay people should burn in hell, and are responsible for all the ills of the world.)

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 26/04/2015 17:43

Oh Pug ive been thinking of you quietly and I hope all goes well for you tomorrow. xxx Thanks

Rainy34 · 26/04/2015 17:46

Pug wishing you well, hope it goes as well as it can tomorrow and then you can start to recover and get that much loved sticky bean!!

Sparkly123 · 26/04/2015 17:47

Dizzymerry I def think OV is likely day 13 given that huge temp rise! How you feeling??

Purdiepie I remember when I used to work in retail lots of ladies coming in with the job scheme vouchers .. It's pretty good right? I remember how strict I had to be though on what was allowed and what wasn't.. That wasn't so great! £92 worth of new clobbers is exciting! Good luck multitasking..!!! Hope Nancy bouncing around having fun after her sickly few days!

Thepug I had posted to you on the other thread but just wanted to send you lots of positive thoughts and strength for tomorrow. Hope you are ok with the fasting too.. Sounds like the croissants etc will go down well Tomor after such a long wait to eat. We are all here for you whenever you need us. It's so hard, I think it sounds like focusing on TTC is the way forward for you if you feel ready and you never know how quickly it may happen again. Just give yourself time to heal physically and emotionally after Tomor. I'm so sorry you are having to go through this, but you will absolutely come out the other side FlowersFlowers

Glittery I am so jealous of your holidayyyyy! Not long now! Grin

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 26/04/2015 17:48

Sparkly123 · 26/04/2015 17:55

Yes Juners has there been a phonecall yet?! Wink

Nomio230 · 26/04/2015 17:57

Glittery, I am the same. I absolutely hate flying, but make myself do it as I love travelling. I am super jealous of you & your lovely holiday.

I just had a message from my cousin wanting to meet up. They are in the area for a couple of days & she wants me to meet her little boy. I have said yes & do want to see them, but it is so hard seeing someone elses squishy baby when you are desperate for your own. Sad

cremedecacao · 26/04/2015 17:57

On the subject of flying... how do you lot feel about flying in early stages?

DH wants to stop trying for a few months before we go away in July as I will be in the early stages Sad This was meant to be our last month of trying until the hol. Sigh.

Should we stop trying for a bit or carry on and risk flying before the 1st trimester is up? I don't want to stop as 3 months is a long time in the TTC world. It will make me resent the holiday too.

Sparkly123 · 26/04/2015 18:01

Nomio sorry lovely I know it's hard. I guess you just need to keep in mind that one day SOON you will be calling her to meet your little one. Good developments for you recently , you are totally on the way to your BFP and your baby Flowers

Sparkly123 · 26/04/2015 18:03

Creme I don't have an answer I'm afraid lovely but interested to hear what others advise as I wondered about flying in first trimester too. Someone knowledgable will be along I'm sure! It's a hard dilemma for you as you could prob do with the break but hard with TTC around it.

cremedecacao · 26/04/2015 18:05

Holiday is booked, so we HAVE to go. Booked before I thought about it to be honest. There is no risk to the baby, its just not advised in case you miscarry on the plane or in a foreign country (I think?)

Nomio230 · 26/04/2015 18:07

I am far from an expert, but everything I have read says it is fine to travel in your first and second trimester. It is only the third when it is dangerous. Keep on shagging, Creme!

Thanks Sparkly. I know you are right, but I am sick of waiting for it to be my turn!

cremedecacao · 26/04/2015 18:10

Thanks. I'm also PETRIFIED of flying so a bit worried about my stress levels/blood pressure!

Sparkly123 · 26/04/2015 18:10

nomio I totally understand you will be. You have been at this so long. I think that's totally natural, and I wish I could say something to make it better! But the strength you have that's brought you this far, will get you this next little bit.. And your BFP is gonna be round the corner Flowers

Sparkly123 · 26/04/2015 18:12

Ah I see creme ok sorry I get ya. Ok. So are you booked for July then? Sorry you have the flying fear too.. So many have it it's horrible! Flowers

cremedecacao · 26/04/2015 18:15

It is!! DH and I both do. Last year I drank two large glasses of wine very quickly and several Kalms, which kicked in as the plane was LANDING, whoops! Won't be able to do that this year if I get a bfp!

Yup, booked for July. DH is going on a driving hol with a friend and I am flying out with the friends OH to meet them. So DH won't even be with me!

I'm going away in July, I'm going to keeping TTC and hope if I'm pg by then I don't get bad MS. I checked the airline we are flying with and they allow up to 24 weeks without a letter from the Dr.
You have to just decide what is best for you.
pug will be thinking of you tomorrow.
glittery have a fab holiday.

Yokyil · 26/04/2015 18:17
