dizzy how aweful for you.
nomio I've been wanting to have the AI conversation with DH for ages but haven't known how to broach the subject. How did you manage it?

Queenbee30 · 21/04/2015 10:56

Ooo boris we could well be!!!

juneybean · 21/04/2015 10:57

I'm extremely creamy today....! But pretty sure that's normal!

DizzyM You poor thing - the legs akimbo thing doesn't bother me at all. I hope your results come back ok!

Nomio How many cycles are you on? The stats seem to be blank, I am sure DH would come around (see what I did there!) to the idea if it is what you wanted to try.

Melon we need your updated stats before you get booted off the list!

spinnin why can't you manage roast dinner?

MelonMelon · 21/04/2015 11:11

Ooo err I don't know! My last cycle was a weird one but let's go down the positive route and say....

Melon 28 TTC #1 cycle 5 bfp due 13th May

MelonMelon · 21/04/2015 11:13

Wait it's cycle 4 not 5! Haha Lord help me

Mummyofonesofar · 21/04/2015 11:18

Thanks Melon!

Pikz · 21/04/2015 11:20

Hair and queen I'm in an expensive Hampshire commuter village!

Nomio230 · 21/04/2015 11:35

Mummy, I have no idea how many cycles, but it has been about 4 years! I think that is why it has been left blank.

Boris, we were all snuggled up after DTD and I just mentioned to him that lots of people on here were trying it & asked if he would be interested. I pointed out that it takes the pressure off having to have sex when you are tired or not in the mood. I made sure to mention that we would still be having lots of sex & that AI would be just be for days when we were busy/tired etc. I think we will end up doing it, but he just needs time to get used to the idea.

Mummyofonesofar · 21/04/2015 11:39

Nomio I didn't realise it had been so long! Do you have an action plan other than DTD lots?

Hairstylisttoboris · 21/04/2015 11:41

pikz and queen we should have an MN meet up, somewhere cheap :)

I'm roasting at work. No aircon and at somepoint today they are cleaning our windows so we have to keep the windows shut. Sigh

purdiepie · 21/04/2015 11:47

I hate working. It's shit. I can't sit in an office for the rest of my life. It's not normal. How can anyone stare at a screen all day? I've got a baby at home who loves me and needs me. What am I doing here? SadSad

Mummyofonesofar · 21/04/2015 11:50

Oh Purds!!! You are doing this because of your beautiful baby and hopefully to get a baby in your tum tum! bills and baby, bills and baby repeat!

MelonMelon · 21/04/2015 11:51

Purdie it's rubbish but you're there as a stepping stone to getting a job and some money coming in so that you can give her a brother or sister! Eyes on the prize Smile

juneybean · 21/04/2015 11:52

Awww purdie :( its only a stepping stone to another baby!

Queenbee30 · 21/04/2015 11:53

boris yes! Weatherspoons? Haha

purdie oh no! Must be so so so hard, but keep on going. Bills and baby FlowersCakeBrew

Sparkly123 · 21/04/2015 11:54

Junes did you buy anything online last night? Hope lovergirl is feeling better today

Queen welcome back! Tropical rainforest?! Love it! Thanks for thinking of me lovely

Pixa is this a first for painful dtd? Have you spoken to gp before? Might just be the hormonal changes causing pain at that time of the month.

Dizzynorth yep I've toasted before and weirdly I prefer the taste the other way! Ha ha McDs down to a tee.. Limp!

Oyster yes for temp rise! And hair trial! How exciting!! How long now?

Dizzymerry tonightssss the nigggghhhttt!oh just read about your app sorry lovely! Sounds horrible! I do however like that your gp tried to put you at ease!! Hope you are ok now?im the same so I totally understand.

Purdiepie I miss you! Hope day two goes well! How's your mum?? If I don't count today it's only two days... Come on!!!

Mummy not out yet! Come on lady keep positive! You are always still in with a chance!

Melon is there not bloods for PCOS too? Def still go and discuss these cycles! It's important you get some help lovely

Spinning I had roasted chicken roast potatoes and kale for tea last night and I always feel my digestion goes to pot after! I don't eat meat much and do tend to feel a bit yuk after as I'm not used to it! How are you now? I'm ok just trying to get through each day with calm.! I'm really exhausted today though!

Nomio see how you go then, you know your dh and if you think you will end up adding AI in then you must be pretty sure he will come round to the idea. I think it must be quite difficult for them to get their heads round it, but at least you have planted the seed!

Pikz · 21/04/2015 11:57

Purdie man up. Eyes on the prize Wink

In all seriousness it gets easier. I've been back at work 18 months now and the first 6 months were fucking shite

juneybean · 21/04/2015 11:57

StarStarStarStar EMERGENCY StarStarStarStarStar

Right Purdiepie remember what you said yesterday? You had a great day! You can absolutely do this you must keep focused on the outcome! Nancy is going to get a sibling lovely ! And you are going to have worked so hard to get there!! It's only day two, once you get into the routine I think you are gonna be ok. And after your first week and a weekend off of being with NDolly and dh you will see you have a good balance, which is what you craved. Not baby bounce classes and CBeebies 24/7. Remember what the boss said yesterday? You are gonna feel so appreciated in another aspect of your life besides being a wife and mother. This is good for you. Keep positive lovely. Don't you have a twirl there to keep you going?! Flowers

nightandthelight · 21/04/2015 12:11

Purdie we all have these days trust me! Just think of all the benefits Nancy will get from you working, a sibling, music lessons whatever :) it will be worth it and you will get used to it.

Nomio230 · 21/04/2015 12:18

Purdie you can do this. I can't imagine how hard it must be getting used to a new job, and having to leave N-Pants, but remember how fed up you feel when you are sat in yet another baby group.

Working will give you a chance to be Purdie. Not someone's mum or wife or daughter, but just lovely, funny, intelligent you.

Mummy, I am on Clomid and have Progesterone pessaries to try this month. We were referred for IVF, but then had to move & now have to go through the whole referral process again, as we are in a different PCT. Sad

DizzyMerry · 21/04/2015 12:18

It's really hard at first purdie and it's understandable to feel like that. Just keep thinking about why you took this job - to give your DD a sibling. I hated going back after having dd but it does get better.

Sparkly I'm absolutely fine as I am usually but always get myself worked up about these things.

Sparkly123 · 21/04/2015 12:23

Nomio did you ever look into disputing that by the way? I can't understand how they can justify a couple having tried for four years to have to be re referred just because you have moved. It just doesn't seen right! I'm still hoping the Clomid and prog come through for you this cycle! StarGrin

Mummyofonesofar · 21/04/2015 12:40

Nomio there isn't PCTs anymore it's all CCGs - Is it the waiting lists that are the problem? Or they don't have your results from previous testing? The referral process shouldn't take long at all once the GP has your previous record. Which CCG are you under? What obsticles are in the way from you getting your appointment?
