Do you like feeling left out of a group? Do you enjoy being marginalised and isolated and picked-on? How about a good bullying? If so..you're in t'wrong place, cock, coz this 'ere is the TTC thread where you feel loved, embraced, encouraged, wanted, lusted after, admired, respected, thought-of with fondness, missed when you're away. We will even put up with your lazy, selfish bastard of a husband who would rather watch Chelsea romp through the Premiership than put a baby in your tum-tum.

Absolutely any old slag welcome, unless you already have a baby in your tum-tum and we're about as familiar with you as a condom. You can get lost Smile

t'STATS, innit

Evening! Everyone still bonkers I see, good good, carry on.

My flat has turned into a stag party as they're all staying over tonight ready to fly to Germany in the morning.

4DPO and I feel dizzy and my lower back hurts. That's pretty standard 4DPO for me, I always feel like crap for about a week post ov then fine until AF.

Sparkly123 · 16/04/2015 22:00

ibeka don't watch emmerdale either it's her real life story I mean.

I know how frustrating it is when things are moving/treatable in other countries.. This is literally the story of my life! The uk are always one step behind I have found this far. But, I really think private is a good option to at least see what's available for you. You also are at an advantage (although it may not feel it) as you have access to these medical professionals in trial who will have all the latest research and updates and you will be kept up to date on that which is a massive positive.inside info! I think your plan is good. Gp first (although if I'm honest I'm sure you will know more than them! They are not always up to date on latest research etc) then private if you can. If Thyroid fits with your symptoms It seems silly they haven't tested before. Also check the T3/T4 parameters as if you are borderline you can still be symptomatic, there's a lot of discussion on that. I really hope you get some help with all this I know you will be terrified. But please do remember it's not a given that a pregnancy will have a bad outcome.. There is still a significant chance of a good one. And you will be strong enough to deal with anything that comes your way. I promise you that Flowers

Mummy That's amazing! I may need your complainer tips! Smile

Spinning I don't understand how we are supposed to stop thinking about TTC. It's an every minute thought.

Eskimo but I do, it's a loner tea-bag. I feel as though it needs rehoming.

Glittery Thank you, that rendition was beautiful. DH has been shown it and is scared. Grin

spinningirl10 · 16/04/2015 22:08

Frog, that's really lovely, so clever. Are you keeping them for future use or are they for something else?

Riceicle1 · 16/04/2015 22:10

Ha ha glittery that made me chuckle!
*purdy fingers crossed you get the job in the office full of hotties!
ibeka Flowers and hugs, my mom is also on thyroxin I'll smuggle some over to add to your illicit supply!
My head is your typical battle axe, when I told dh about what she said, he said do you want to put ttc on hold!? wTF! Why would I do that? yes I will dread telling her but never in a million years would I stop trying. Oh, not only am I surrounded by bumps, but I've also been put forward to arrange the latest baby shower kill me now

frogbubbles · 16/04/2015 22:10

Glittery love it!!

purdiepie · 16/04/2015 22:11

Eskimo, you're so witty. I'm always guffawing at you and Aux and Mary and Glittery. Everyone else makes me giggle, too, but you lot are bloody certified.

Spinning, don't be fooled by the paucity-of-sex bfp's. Go look at the pregnancy charts gallery on FF: most conceptions arise from lots of sex. Us older birds really need good quantities of sperm due to the probability of our fellas' declining quality. Mind you, you're a cougar, aren't you? P.s...you look absolutely gorgeous on your fb profile.

What happened to our newbies? Hmm

Aux, when I was pregnant with Nancy the IVF clinic made me shove progesterone suppositories up twice daily from the day of my BFP until twelve weeks (when the placenta takes over). No weaning - just immediate cessation. The irony of the suppositories is that they tend to cause cervical erosion in all most women which manifests itself as an almost perpetual glue-like brown sludge, which, of course, is terrifying. It's all very innocuous though, and I was so grateful for the security of those fanny bullets.

My final specimen of spunk from DH this week contained a wiry black pube in it. I kept staring at the bottom of the cup, willing myself to stick my finger in and slide the bastard up the side of the mug, but I just couldn't do it. When I drew the spunk up the syringe the offending hair was left at the bottom of the cup! I was so relieved Hmm

glittery thanks for the offer of your ma's thyroxine Grin I may well come back to you Wink

Amazing blanket frog. I started knitting a blanket a couple of weeks ago - am quite pleased with its progress for a first attempt!

sparkly thank you, that makes more sense! I thought looking at a soap story for info was a bit renegade! What a moving video... I shall definitely give private some more thought and discuss with DP, who of course is out boozing in my hour of need.... I have had my thyroid function tested previously but it has always been 'normal'. But they don't test for the antibodies in normal testing, just the hormone and T3/T4. There is mounting evidence though that you can be symptomatic with the antibodies but normal functioning. And that this, along with decline into full blown hypothyroidism, can be prevented with thyroxine in quite low doses. In some ways it is a bit of a relief to have a potential biological explanation for the depression/fatigue/IBS that has been plaguing me for years. I forgot to ask the hospital for the full breakdown of bloods but will call them tomorrow.

Woolly84 · 16/04/2015 22:20

I love a bit of dirty dancing too sparkly.....and the film too Grin

babsbunny · 16/04/2015 22:24

Hi ladies. Thanks for your lovely wishes. You are all so amazing and strong.

Dh brought home a single rose for me this eveing. Mr romantic.

ibeka · 16/04/2015 22:25

purdles I'm shopping for vitamins... remind me why q-10 is good and how much I need?

eskimolaura · 16/04/2015 22:26

Purdie Your offending black pube is like my suspicious teabag. Unwanted, unnecessary and possibly full of ballbag sweat. I'm probably exaggerating now, but it is possible that the gypsies rubbed it over their wizened bollocks and then planted it in my tea caddy.

Sparkly123 · 16/04/2015 22:26

Froggy your blanket is the bomb Star

ibeka · 16/04/2015 22:30

Also, if I buy something just called 'omega 3 fish oil', that's not cod liver oil, right, and is good shizzle?

purdiepie · 16/04/2015 22:30

I can sing but I prefer to express myself through the medium of cock.
