Do you like feeling left out of a group? Do you enjoy being marginalised and isolated and picked-on? How about a good bullying? If so..you're in t'wrong place, cock, coz this 'ere is the TTC thread where you feel loved, embraced, encouraged, wanted, lusted after, admired, respected, thought-of with fondness, missed when you're away. We will even put up with your lazy, selfish bastard of a husband who would rather watch Chelsea romp through the Premiership than put a baby in your tum-tum.

Absolutely any old slag welcome, unless you already have a baby in your tum-tum and we're about as familiar with you as a condom. You can get lost Smile

t'STATS, innit

Sparkly you mentioned in your post you eat nuts, i am eating a couple of brazil nuts every night, what other nuts did you have ? x

spinningirl10 · 16/04/2015 21:32

Frog, do we get a picture of the new blanket?Smile

Sparkly, if you've only been eating nuts for a few weeks would they even work yet, I thought these things take 3 months. See it's all cods wallop!!!! All we need is sperm Grin I shall however continue to swallow countless vitamins and drink green smoothies in the quest for my bfp!

eskimolaura · 16/04/2015 21:32

Sparkly Your audition was fabulous. You can join the Angry Pubes choir. can you give our Boris some lesson please?

Frog Hmmm... strokes chin. Shall I send my outcast teabag round to yours? Would your teabags make it feel welcome? Can you test it to see if it contains arsenic?

ibeka · 16/04/2015 21:34

What gets me is that these antibodies are basically the precursor to hypothyroidism but until that develops they aren't treated. I am basically guaranteed to develop hypothyroidism but there are no preventative measures routinely taken in this country (initial research tells me it would be different were I German or Japanese Hmm) I don't watch Emmerdale but the story sounds similar. I have basically decided that I will go to my GP just in case and if I get nowhere may enquire with some private consultants. I have asked for a list from Thyroid UK. If that's too pricey I shall just stick with the trial... In the meantime I have done some research re. diet etc. Also read some very interesting studies questioning whether some symptoms associated with low thyroid function are caused by that or simply by these antibodies (that are normally only tested for when someone has hypothyroidism), looking at the number of people reporting them that have 'normal' thyroid levels but antibodies. They include depression/low mood, fatigue, digestive problems, itchy skin and aching limbs. These are all things I have been going to the doctor about for the past few years, all having developed at roughly the same time... I feel utterly terrified about future pregnancies. I'm just not sure I'm strong enough a person to suffer recurrent miscarriages and come out the other side.... I know loads of you have been TTCing for yonks and I've a relative newbie so can't really complain but I feel so cheated by this. I've wanted a baby since I was barely grown up myself. My biggest fear in life has always been that I won't be able to. I can't help wondering if that is coming true...

Anyway.... enough about me. eskimo hooray for the last pill! Square teabag very confusing. I say drink it and see... who knows!

glittery, a lottery it sure is! I walk down the street looking at prams and bumps and think that the whole time. There was a woman at the hospital also finding out about the antibodies. She had a gorgeous toddler with her. Her decision was to stick with the one child. I again felt the lottery effect - her first pregnancy had been successful. Mine wasn't. We have the same 'miscarriage causing' condition.

I'm really sorry, I can't remember what else I was going to write to people too busy wallowing but thank you all so so much for your kind words. x

frogbubbles · 16/04/2015 21:35

Spinning I've made a batch of smoothies tonight banana, kale, blueberry and raspberry. I used a bit of almond milk too so it's not too gloopy Grin

spinningirl10 · 16/04/2015 21:35

On the subject of nuts, dp text me yesterday and said 'I've eaten 25 Brazil nuts today, is that enough?' At this rate he'll be able to start donating his new and improved super spermGrin

Sparkly you're right it's a huge journey from you to me! Dp's from up North and we try to meet his family half way as it's so far and always bloody freezing up there!

Woolly84 · 16/04/2015 21:36

All this singing has inspired me to join the Angry Pubes choir! May I audition?

sung to the tune of Hungry Eyes
"Angry Pubesss, one look at you and I'm in the mood, I've got Angry Pubes...." Grin

eskimolaura · 16/04/2015 21:39

Woolly That is amazing. You're in. Can anyone play an instrument? We could put our tuneless caterwauling beautiful harmonies to music?

Pixa · 16/04/2015 21:39

Frog I always end up sending it back and vomiting. I hate wrong food. Soggy chip sounds vile. I once for foil in my steak sauce. Hmm

Eskimo poor poor tea bag. Sad

Yokyil There is so much dirty TV in my house at the moment. We are mainly watching Daredevil and The Island. 4dpo? Fingers crossed for a quick and happy TWW.

Spinning Thanks, we are just away tomorrow night. Can't wait. How are you doing?

Mummy Thank you, DH spoils me so it's about time I spoilt him back. I love a good complaint - once got £300 back from a hotel! How are you feeling this cycle?

Glittery sending you a hug!

Sparkly I think you are so right. It is a complete lottery. Sad

ibeka · 16/04/2015 21:40

Sparkly123 · 16/04/2015 21:41

Rainy this is the first month I've had Brazil nuts. I only had aBout 3/4 a day and I had walnuts/hazelnuts/almonds/other mixed nuts. Quite enjoyed snacking on them!

eskimolaura · 16/04/2015 21:42

ibeka Flowers Flowers

In terms of drinking it... I daren't. What if it's that 'erbal shit. I'd be run out of Yorkshire!

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 16/04/2015 21:43

Ibeka you wallow away lovely, just get it all out.

My mum takes thyroxine. Shall I Nick some and post it to you? Wink x

Mummyofonesofar · 16/04/2015 21:48

Pixa iot 2 brand new headlights from halfords last month £300 plus labour Wink wahoo! I'm feeling better than I did a few weeks ago nobly 4dpo and had some twinges today could have been the yoga stretches

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 16/04/2015 21:48

I'm not advocating buying drugs online. But I did once march into my docs for orlistat and pretty much say prescribe it or I'll buy it online. I'm on it now - via prescription along with fatty boom boom club.

spinningirl10 · 16/04/2015 21:49

I'm good thanks Pixa, keeping busy and trying not to think too much about ttc who am I kidding

Ibeka, I think all you can do is research, research and more research. Speak to your doctor and if you don't get anywhere then seek further help which will cost money but there surely has to be something that can be done to help you. I really hope you get your sticky bfp soon, as you say, the lady at the hospital has the same problem and she had her baby, never lose hope.

I eat all nuts, i don't know how many you need ibeka, I shall go and google. I think someone a couple of weeks ago said 5/6.

Sparkly123 · 16/04/2015 21:49

Spins I think the sperm is on a two to three month backlog so to speak! But for us, I heard that selenium ie Brazil nuts is really helpful for implantation. Who knows my lovely. Like we said earlier. Lottery!

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 16/04/2015 21:49

Okay who next to POAS.....!

Rainy34 · 16/04/2015 21:52

Thanks sparkly roughly having 4 Brazil nuts a day will get all the others you mentioned,

eskimolaura · 16/04/2015 21:53

Pixa Don't feel sorry for it! It's a dirty interloper! I don't think it's a coincidence that we have recently acquired a temporary camp of gypsies down the road- do I sound like our Purds?

ibeka Can you hum 'Peeing on a Stick' to the sound of Bon Jovi's 'Livin' on a Prayer' whilst vigorously fist-pumping? If so, you're in!

Mary's Triangle is good. Keep it away from Mummy's sex drawer though. She might get confused and try and stick it up her foof.

spinningirl10 · 16/04/2015 21:54

Dr google seems to say just 2 Brazil nuts a day could give you the 200mg selenium. Before anyone shouts at me I did tell dp that 25 was too many!

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 16/04/2015 21:55
