Do you like feeling left out of a group? Do you enjoy being marginalised and isolated and picked-on? How about a good bullying? If so..you're in t'wrong place, cock, coz this 'ere is the TTC thread where you feel loved, embraced, encouraged, wanted, lusted after, admired, respected, thought-of with fondness, missed when you're away. We will even put up with your lazy, selfish bastard of a husband who would rather watch Chelsea romp through the Premiership than put a baby in your tum-tum.

Absolutely any old slag welcome, unless you already have a baby in your tum-tum and we're about as familiar with you as a condom. You can get lost Smile

Black spot = blind spot. Duh.

Pikz: Implantation frog?

Hahah. The joys of a missing comma! An implantation frog. Grin Is it a good omen? "The crystal ball foresees an implantation frog!" Or a medical term? "I am willing to prescribe an implantation frog, but only after three months of further trying."

nightandthelight · 19/04/2015 07:08

Will catch up later! Quick question. I have the clear blue digital opks, on FF are they just opks or the advanced ones? Not sure where to enter my result!

spinningirl10 · 19/04/2015 07:55

MorningGrin

Night, I don't know about the opks on ff. I enter all mine as normal but didn't realise there was an other option!

Mama, hope the weather in Scotland isn't too much of a shock for you! Sparkly says it's been sunny there. So lovely that you'll get to see your friends baby while your here.

Purdey, yay for the positive thinking and ivf planning, you can do it! I'm not bald. I have quite a big landing strip kept short. Dp says if I was bald I'd look like an 8 year old. It's the 'fashion' now though isn't it? When I had Dd 19 years ago It was like a forestShock poor midwife!

Boys all slept ok, think they've been up since 6ish, I went back to sleepGrin

Pixa · 19/04/2015 08:02

Morning all,

So, today I am feeling ill and yet inspired.

Gym this morning (for the worst day of my training programme - I'm looking at you, 195 squats) but then, I may to and to a beauty counter and get some make up for an every day look.

And I swear I have a gluten intolerance, I have eaten so much bread this a weekend and I am so bloated and uncomfortable - not exactly sexy for DTD. Angry

How is everyone else feeling today?

Mummyofonesofar · 19/04/2015 08:17

I need to read back some more sparkly I missed you all too! BBQ was ace except dp invited 2 "lads from work" and their partners. Well I went and bought loads of gorgeous food, pork belly, lamb, the yummiest burgers in the world etc and these boys turned up with their silent gfs, ate a burger left before the food was all cooked. They were all very young (my age and younger) I'm so glad I invited some grown ups who stuck around and appreciated my hours of marinating! I really don't understand the young of today!! They didn't even try my homemade coleslaw!!!

spinningirl10 · 19/04/2015 08:25

Pixa, enjoy your gym sess. Keep going with those squats, they're the best for your buttSmile and the new make up trip sounds like fun.

Mummy, ooh your bbq food sounds yummy. I'm sure it was appreciated by the ones that stayed.

Purdey, 30 hours a week! We will miss you here. I really hope you enjoy your new job and settle in soon. I'm quite sure they'll all love you.

Lucie, good luck today! Fx crossed for lots of good eggs.

Pixa · 19/04/2015 08:26

Ha ha, Mummy that's my phrase! When the London riots were happening, at the ripe old age of 21, I was in a hotel, laid in a lovely bath (which had an inbuilt touch screen TV), watching the news of the riots, sipping Veuve Clicquot and eating some raspberry infused chocolates whilst saying "I really don't understand the youth of today". I still look back and think I was completely sheltered and silly back then.

Pixa · 19/04/2015 08:27

I would have appreciated your hours or marinating though. Grin

loopylou1984 · 19/04/2015 08:28

Morning all Smile

Night is that the one with highs and peaks? If so it's advanced as it gives you the high/peak option rather than just pos/neg

Mummy, BBQs are do much effort, which is fine if people appreciate it, but not if they leave after one burger!! Glad some others stuck around for you!

FF has moved my ov date forward by one day... Which now means we dtd the three days before ov, but not they day of ov or after... Am I out?
Also, is there a time of day we ov? Or is it possible I actually over anytime between taking the low temp at 5 am and the next high one at 5 am the next day? Clutching at straws here!

And my crosshairs are solid (yes the red lines for whoever asked) which I'm surprised about as I only have 5 pre ov temps! Xx

loopylou1984 · 19/04/2015 08:29

And Lucie, massive good luck for today!! Xx

Mummyofonesofar · 19/04/2015 08:32

Also ttc update - 7dpo and my boobs are huge!!! Last night in bed dp commented on how massive they are. I could be putting on weight and therefore fat in my chest but I'd like to think different!

spinnin they did love it, and everyone old enough to know the difference between shop bought complimented my coleslaw as being the best they've had! Grin

Oysterbabe · 19/04/2015 08:33

Morning Lovelies!
I'll try and do a bit of reading back when the hangover allows. My hen party last night and I feel like I'm going to vom. Trying to decide if bacon will help or make it worse.
Please can someone pass me an implantation frog? Today I'm the hottest I've ever been. It's 100% the hangover. Plus I took it an hour late.

chopsface · 19/04/2015 08:36

Morning girls

Just to say, I have a forest Blush I don't really like it but there is seriously nothing I can do with it! My hair is so thick that if I wax (or shave) each individual follicle bleeds. And removal creams make it go weak and curly but doesn't kill it off! Its quite amazing! All I can do is trim and buy big pants/swimwear! and turn the light out when we dtd

What shall I do today? Need dh to mow the lawn as I can't possibly lug around lawnmowers now.

Oh, has anyone thought about exercising whilst preg? Cancelled Zumba yesterday morning as I'd read mixed views online about it. Feel sad though :-( flipping love Zumba me. Had to tell yoga teacher the current situation too so he can adjust things for me. Feel bad my yoga teacher knows before my mum though!

Have a good Sunday everyone x

Pixa · 19/04/2015 08:37

Thanks Spinning, slowly thinking I may rearrange my gym session. Bloated tum is awful! How are you today?

Sammy I seem to think you can ovulate at any time of the day.

Oysterbabe · 19/04/2015 08:43

Can we see your chart Sammy?
I think you can ovulate at any time of day and just need to make sure there is some sperm there waiting. It can live for several days so you're not definitely out.

loopylou1984 · 19/04/2015 08:44

Thanks Pixa, so maybe I ovd a few minutes after taking my temp on day 16 and we dtd that night so it might be ok? Xx

Pixa · 19/04/2015 08:45

Chops taken from Dr. Miriam Stoppard - Pregnancy & Birth Handbook:

  • "There are several sports that you can do as long as you take it gently and stop if you feel tired. Remember, if you are out of breath, your baby is deprived of oxygen."
  • "As long as you're not too energetic, you can dance throughout pregnancy. It is a good way to practise pelvic tilts."

www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/pages/pregnancy-exercise.aspx

Hope this helps. Smile

Mummyofonesofar · 19/04/2015 08:45

Thanks Pixa they left to do young young person things - rowing a canoe out to an island to have a bonfire and probably smoke pot whereas we had an afternoon BBQ, I had 3 ciders and was in bed by 9.15! Rock and roll haha.

Pixa · 19/04/2015 08:46

Oyster your hen party sounds like it was a good night. Smile

loopylou1984 · 19/04/2015 08:46

Chops that impressive hair growth!! Lol. Is the hair on your head really thick too?
Re exercise I was told once that continuing what all already do is fine (obviously not things like kickboxing where your tummy is impacted) but I would check with the gp and maybe wait until a bit later so the little bean is properly implanted Smile

Pixa · 19/04/2015 08:48

Mummy I think I have missed that stage of being a young person. Jumped straight into adulthood, sounds like you are very similar. I would have much preferred a beautiful BBQ with some homemade coleslaw then those young person things. Grin

We are hosting two family BBQs in May, so if you have any good recipes to share, please do. Smile

loopylou1984 · 19/04/2015 08:49

Oyster here is my chart Smile

Pixa · 19/04/2015 08:50

Chops just to add, I only looked at the one source but I think I would do some more research on the lack of oxygen thing.

nightandthelight · 19/04/2015 08:51

Thanks Sammy I think they are just the normal ones so will use that option :)
