I have a telephone consultation booked with my GP on Monday which is when she will give me the results

tessiegirl · 09/04/2015 13:42

Oh DizzyMerry I hope you don't have to wait long for the Dr to call you, did they say when the call would be?

tessiegirl · 09/04/2015 13:44

Crossed post DizzyMerry! Rubbish that you have to wait until Monday Sad

Mummyofonesofar · 09/04/2015 13:47

Telephone appt no earlier than Monday!! That is rubbish - but it must mean your results are not awful or they may have had you in sooner for a face to face!

Sparkly123 · 09/04/2015 13:58

Sorry haven't caught up yet properly but just noticed you have to wait until Monday for results Dizzy . Is this day 21 bloods? If it was me, I would call the surgery and say you are concerned and don't feel you can wait until Monday for the result as it will cause a great deal of stress. There is always a locum doctor on isn't there that can surely give you the result, I think it's unfair to ask you to wait until Monday.
I want to reassure you, and I am sure all will be ok and worst case scenario, things can be fixed lovely. But I also understand from your perspective that waiting until Monday is a stretch for you. Sending Flowers

I second what Mummy just said!

Sparkly123 · 09/04/2015 14:10

Night hold tight mrs!!! Come on you can do it, why waste a test and possibly risk an inaccurate result?! Come on come on! Hold off! Grin

mummy yeh I track when I spot. But I don't do supps. I just take folic acid and a basic multivitamin.

melon you really are a tower of strength right now lovely! I would Def get to the gp, you can't carry on like this it's so draining for you. I know you have had scans etc. But you need to go over everything again I think and get to the bottom of it Flowers

Lots of supplement info here courtesy of the Purds some concoction! I look forward to hearing from you all on how you get on! My dh doesn't take anything. I may get him a multivitamin to start Smile

I am trying Sparkly! Have reached the point where I would rather see a BFN and get on with planning my next cycle than have this tiny glimmer of hope :(

DizzyMerry · 09/04/2015 14:15

Thanks for your kind words ladies.

Sparkly I have just phoned them again but they said the results are not marked urgent so 'don't worry' and wait until Monday. No tel appointments before then anyway. It might not be marked urgent as I wouldn't expect day 21 bloods to be urgent but it doesn't make it any easier considering I have been here before and my levels could be ridiculously low again. I'm trying to be positive but I just think if all was OK they would have just said.
A whole weekend of this Sad

DizzyMerry · 09/04/2015 14:16

Sorry for ranting but I can't think straight right now

Sparkly123 · 09/04/2015 14:17

Purds you asked my cycle length- 27/28 days. Last two since mc been 31 but I OVd later both obviously. Thanks for injection advice. Gonna book a doctors app today to discuss going with it. Argh.

Tessie so sorry for temp drop love. At lest you have your lovely visit back to look forward to Flowers love that your dh made the app. Proactive! Grin

Spinners where is that letter?!?? Hope you have a nice day with dd and her bf Flowers

Merry sorry about the Drs. Sending hugs your way to get you through the weekend.

Sparkly Sorry, I couldn't see your spotting on your chart, but I know you are trying to chart less x

spinningirl10 · 09/04/2015 14:52

Tessie, yes Q10 on Amazon. 200mg tablets. £20.99, Purdey linked to it last night.

tessiegirl · 09/04/2015 15:07

Oh DizzyMerry I'm sorry, I hope the next few days go quickly for you Flowers

Thanks Spinning, that's great. I did have a quick look at the link Purdey posted but didn't notice they were high strength... quick question regarding these - do we know these are the real thing as they are quite reasonably priced? I am tempted to buy them but worry why they are cheap compared to other places Confused Help!! Smile

Thanks Sparkly, yes I am looking forward to coming home on Saturday so will try and focus on that. Although I am dreading saying goodbye to our fur baby Sat morning Sad Hope you get your jabs sorted out.

tessiegirl · 09/04/2015 15:08

Sorry Purdie I can't get used to spelling your name differently!! Blush

Mummyofonesofar · 09/04/2015 15:25

Blush I didn't notice it had changed. Sorry Purdie x

DizzyNorthernBird · 09/04/2015 15:29

dizzym sorry your gps are making you wait, that's so unfair and uncaring of them. It shouldn't matter what the test is for - results are always going to be 'urgent' for the person waiting for them. I hope you can find something wine to distract yourself with over the weekend.

Am I the only one here who can't be arsed with supplements? I just take seven seas and hope for the best and spend my hard earned cash on quinoa and pecan nuts instead

spinningirl10 · 09/04/2015 15:36

Tessie, I just think Amazon have some good prices! If you read the reviews no-one says anything negative about them. Maybe if you were buying them from a bloke in an alley I'd be suspicious! Smile

spinningirl10 · 09/04/2015 15:44

We're home from our trip out with dd and the bf and it was fun. Was lovely to spend some time with dd and her bf seems nice, he was chatty and friendly and makes dd laugh. I'm still not over the moon about the age gap but I'm happy that we've sorted out our differences.
Tomorrow is my Uncles funeral and I shall be up at 3.30am!!! I'm not sure what I'm dreading most, the funeral itself or sitting in a car for 5 hours with my Dad!!

Mummyofonesofar · 09/04/2015 15:57

spinnin glad you had a lovely time! Hopefully as she gets older, the age gap will seem less significent. Glad you are both talking and getting along. I hoipe the funeral goes well tomorrow, it has been so dragged out, some closure will be apreciated by all involved, especially your poor Mum Flowers

Hairstylisttoboris · 09/04/2015 16:01

Ladies I'm back. I have myself a very short lived migraine last night then took the day off work today to recover. I think I'm a little too wound up at the moment and need to relax...
purdie i just wrote a mamouth reply to your questions yesterday, then deleted it. It was to me me me. I'll be ok. I have a lot to be thankful for and Mr B isn't so bad really :)
Wish I could pop up for a cuppa. You never know, I may well do it one day. You are a wise and funny lady.

Hairstylisttoboris · 09/04/2015 16:02

Oh spinning hope tomorrow goes ok. X

Hairstylisttoboris · 09/04/2015 16:04

Are these supplements the products of the day? I've lost the link Purdie posted....

The Bumsnet/Angry Pubes Bus #2... BFPs for the taking!
Rainy34 · 09/04/2015 16:08

OH has brought in two birthday cakes, both jam sponge, one is a Tinkerbell cake and the other is a drumstick cake, passing round heaps of cake to you all!!

Sparkly123 · 09/04/2015 16:13

mummy yep I just note spotting in there. Ooopsy just realised it isn't visible with a star.ha ha and im still totally charting!

dizzy I'm so sorry they won't let you speak to someone before Monday. Other than going up to the surgery and speaking to them face to face I guess you will have to hold out. I think you should be reassured that they didn't ask you to go in and try your best not to worry- like I said earlier, the only reason you are worrying is your thinking worst case scenario, that day 21 result is low. and if that was the case, it can be fixed. So there's a solution. So I would focus on that. If results are ok then you are fine. And if results are low then it's fixable. So both outcomes are manageable. Sending positive thoughts to you Flowers

Dizzynorth no supps for me either. Folic acid and multi vit.

Tessie yep you will soon be back here and enjoying the break. And you will be back to the fur baba before you know it! I called to make an app with my gp to discuss jabs..she has left for three months! Not ideal at all!! So I now need to go to another doc and wait three weeks for an app, either way, at least wheels in motion

spinning so glad you had a good day with dd and her bf. Sounds like things are much better now. And 3.30am! Eeek. Bet you can't believe is finally here though, such a long time coming, early bed for you tonight!!

Boris glad the migraine is a bit better. I think I replied to you on the April bus. bus hopper hope you are feeling a bit stronger today. Flowers
