Argh but Purdie that means waiting till Tuesday, will never make it till then :(

purdiepie · 09/04/2015 11:18

Mummy, your supps sound great. I don't agree with that woman about only 70mg of co q10. Absolutely not. The Lister recommend a minimum of 300mg per day. You and him.

PLease don't source your vits from H&B. This buy one get t'other for a penny is a bloody nonsense. You are not stupid. You know you don't get owt for nowt, in this life. Source wisely: try Aldi; your local supermarket; look harder on Amazon.

I will be AWOL for much of the day as we are doing more outdoorsy stuff with the tot. Going to cuddle some 'wild' pets in our local park this aft. I hope the python doesn't squeeze the nipper's neck too tight...

purdiepie · 09/04/2015 11:19

Night, would you rather see a BFN? Do you feel pregnant or summat? If not, don't do it to yourself. Those arctic sticks are of the devil. Fact.

Mummyofonesofar · 09/04/2015 11:22

I struggled to find the Q-10 at such a low dose anywhere! I haven't ordered anything - though may switch DP onto wellman rather than his sainsburys random multi vit he is currently taking (I have no idea what is in it - just thought he should be taking something if I have to).

Purdey Glad you are having another lovely day with Nancypants. This sunshine and ability to do outdoorsy things really does help with depression. Enjoy x

nightandthelight · 09/04/2015 11:23

You are right Purdie (as usual) :( will do my best to last out until Tuesday (if AF hasn't arrived by then then can almost guarantee I am pg).

purdiepie · 09/04/2015 11:25

Tessandra, magnesium is really important according to Dr Sher (a world-renowned fertility specialist; his name keeps cropping up in my research and on infertility threads on MN and FF).

Those of you balking at the cost of supps. Do your own research and decide which vitamins, minerals and enzymes are actually going to improve your reproductive health. Then source them as cheaply as you can, weighing up the cost against what you spend per month drinking gin, wine, vodka and Prosecco Smile

eskimolaura · 09/04/2015 11:26

Hi all, thanks to everyone for the vitamin info. Purdey Lookey what I have got:

DizzyMerry · 09/04/2015 11:48

Morning all!

I agree with waiting to test purdie and I did exactly that with DD. My longest cycle length is 42 days but this has only happened a couple of times over the last 4 years but the number has stuck in my mind and I don't test before then. Tested on day 43 with DD and in Jan had a cycle of 42 days. Tested on day 42 and was neg, af arrived the next day! For me there is nothing worse than seeing a bfn, I would much rather see AF. The crushing disappointment and heartbreak of a bfn kills everything inside me.

Thanks ladies for the info about the vitamins. I will be getting q10 and have some maca powder which I haven't even used so will do that next cycle.

Sorry about the temp drop tessie

Hope you have a lovely day with your beautiful family spinning and purdie

ibeka · 09/04/2015 11:48

Can cod liver oil cause a MC.....?

DaisyDuckSW15 · 09/04/2015 11:49

Wow! All these supplements! We're taking Well Woman / Man conception tablets but we're only on cycle 2 so hoping we'll be like those couples who get pregnant by just looking at each other!
My DH had a vasectomy reversal in February so this time next month we'll find out if it's actually worked and if his little swimmers are swimming. Hoping the vitamins will help with that! Just need to persuade him to drink less alcohol...!

nightandthelight · 09/04/2015 12:05

ibeka the NHS just say that high levels of vitamin A can harm a developing foetus but I think it's more birth defects than MC. Please note that it is 'can' not 'will'!

MelonMelon · 09/04/2015 12:06

Period now 6 days late! I am ridiculously bloated and feel sick as a dog. All the cheap tests (5 in the last week, I'm an addict) have been negative.

Is it worth going to my GP? Anyone know what they can test for? I've already had bloods and scans in November Sad

nightandthelight · 09/04/2015 12:08

If I were you Melon I would go to GP and ask for a blood pregnancy test!

Sparkly123 · 09/04/2015 12:10

Gonna catch up in a bit. Purdita I was very excited about this cycle until spotting. Now, I'm not so sure. My chart is nice but again, I don't really think that means anything anymore! Ha. We shall see in the next two days I guess. Had lots of niggles and cramps last night and still that horrible heavy pelvis today so mixed with the spotting.. Mmm!! Here's my chart. I'm pretty sure of day 14 ov.
Have a super fun day out with NDolly! Grin

I've booked an appointment for 29th. I should know either way by then surely!

Woolly84 · 09/04/2015 12:15

Hi all!
Yes wow lots of supplements info!!
I'm on folic acid and vitD, DH is on zinc and vitC, let's see how we fare with those!

purdie I'm going to take your advice and hold out on testing this month, BFN last month wasn't fun!!

mrsb0710 · 09/04/2015 12:44

Ugh normally by cd4, af is on her way out. For this month, definitely not. I'm confused Confused And worried, as I wore my grey trouser suit today and am scared I'm going to flood. TMI, sorry, but I wish it'd go away.

Rainy34 · 09/04/2015 13:12

Just watching Obrien on ITV and there is a debate on older people having sex in there 60's and going out partying etc, this lady of twenty is disgusted, just because you get to 60 does not mean you can't enjoy yourself !! i think aslong as your not making a full of yourself and chatting up 18 year olds and being creepy you should live your life to the full

DizzyMerry · 09/04/2015 13:24

Ugh I hate judgemental people rainy why should your age be a factor when you're having fun and enjoying yourself. I love seeing older people out and about having fun.

Mrsb that doesn't sound very nice. Have you got enough sanitary protection? I double up on days like that.

Well phoned GP surgery for blood results but apparently the Dr needs a telephone consultation with me to discuss the results as that is the routine procedure. Now I'm really worried that my results are rubbish again Sad I would have felt better if I could have got them today

Pixa · 09/04/2015 13:26

Can you all guess which nerd analyst is absolutely loving the supplement research? Grin

Now time for a lovingly produced spreadsheet

Rainy34 · 09/04/2015 13:32

Dizzy try not to worry, if they have told you that this is standard procedure then they are just following there policy, i know its hard not to worry, hoping you get good news

Pixa I love any type of ttc research, helps make you feel that you are taking some kind of control over helpless situation

DizzyMerry · 09/04/2015 13:37

I'm worried that if it was a straight forward result and my bloods were fine they would have just said rather than the Dr giving them to me herself. I wasn't even concerned yesterday but I am now and the wait will just stress me out

Mummyofonesofar · 09/04/2015 13:40

Sparkly Aren’t you charting your spotting days so you can see if vits you may/will take would improve the spotting? Temps are looking good though!

Melon My GP brushed me off over the phone when I was 8-10 days late at the end of Jan. She said to stop testing and if I was still not on in another 2 weeks then to test again but that I wasn’t to call back unless in 4 weeks from then I still hadn’t had a bleed. AF came on CD37, once I reassessed my chart I think FF had miscalculated ov day and must had ov’d late on CD24 which means I had no chance of being pregnant. I think any test you have done now is accurate and you just have to sit tight. I know it is crap, Purdey had a long LP last month and it is really unfair and shit and I hated being told to sit tight but it is all we can do Flowers I hope AF comes soon son you can get on with your next cycle.

Merry I hope they call you back soon and everything is ok for you love.

tessiegirl · 09/04/2015 13:40

Made supps list....now to work out costs...

Spinning did you say you found high strength Co Enzyme Q10?

eskimo what is Dong Quai?!!!! I like the name! Wink

Melon Sad

Purdie would you say the men should be on B6 and B complex or not bother with those? Also, should they take selenium or is the amount found in brazil nuts enough? Thanks muchly!!

Rainy34 · 09/04/2015 13:40
