That's nice to hear coffee feel a bit silly today saying about age, I know it doesn't matter really and if I get a bfp I'll be ecstatic no matter what my age is.

Well done for flushing melon :)

Welcome butter to the Easter bus of BFPs Grin

nightandthelight · 01/04/2015 08:16

Thank you lovely ladies Flowers and I agree missmrs yay to a fresh start (particular yay as I guzzle my French bubbly)

Abi .......... when are you testing!?

abi2790 · 01/04/2015 09:42

I haven't tested yet because I ordered the tests from tesco and I'm waiting for my shopping to be delivered. Only an hour or two to wait! I keep symptom spotting today but I think I'm just getting my hopes up for no reason.

Woolly84 · 01/04/2015 09:42

I am feeling much better today than yesterday, and yes new month, new start! Smile

Good luck abi for testing today!

coffeenut · 01/04/2015 10:01

what does ninja poas mean?!

glad you're feeling better woolly Smile

Can I ask, does anyone know whether soy is bad for fertility? I've been googling and it seems very inconclusive. It hit me today that (apart from being older) the one thing I have changed between trying to conceive DD1and DD2 and now is that I've switched to soy milk. And I drink a lot of it daily - at least two glasses. I'm actually thinking I may change to almond milk or similar this month. Am I being ridiculous?

BananaRaces · 01/04/2015 10:57

Thanks for the new bus Missmrs and the stats list Night!

FX for Abi.

DizzyMerry · 01/04/2015 11:05

Morning all.
Fx for those testing today.

Coffee some people swear that soy has helped them get pregnant but I would never try it as soy is a phytoestrogen which disrupts endocrine function. I have endo anyway which feeds off estrogen so it's a no no for me. I don't know much more about it as I stopped reading about it when I found out it was a phytoestrogens. Hopefully others will be along with more info

TrixieRay · 01/04/2015 11:15

Happy 1st of April everyone!

Thanks for doing the stats Night, you're a Star

Merry, glad you're feeling better. I think I have developed a fear of PMT hormones....

Coffeenut, sorry AF arrived. Reassuring to hear that most women in your group were 35+ I turn 34 soon. Dietary changes are going better than I thought, thanks for asking Smile Hardest thing is forcing down a balanced breakfast when I am used to grazing during the morning and a boiled egg/babybel isn't as exciting as a snack as a bag of crisps or a few sweets but if it helps me get my BFP it will be worth it.

Butterchunks, you can sit with me if you like, virtual pick and mix doesn't count right so I will have one if I may. I love knitting too!

Cariad, sorry you feel like AF is on its way too. I keep trying to tell myself that so many people report feeling like AF is going to arrive before they get their BFP. I'm still clinging to hope but bracing myself for PMT to arrive in the next few days.

TrixieRay · 01/04/2015 11:17

Ps good luck Abi

MissMrsMummy · 01/04/2015 11:26

coffee I am drinking almond now. I cut down dairy for the last 2 cycles and on the second got a bfp. So I believe it's working for me! Haven't read anything about soy either way. I'm having almond milk and soy yogurts. Just a splash of milk in coffee as almond tastes rank in how drinks!

Still bfing him so unsure how effective ttc will be! Cycles came back at 5m and been pretty regular, using ovia fertility app.

nightandthelight · 01/04/2015 11:56

I know nothing about bf and TTC but the fact that they are regular sounds promising :)
