Kitty, do you feel it's appropriate to post a photo of your bump on a ttc bus? How about talking about your pregnancy symptoms and how awful your morning sickness is? You don't think there is anything tactless about having never appeared on a TTC bus before (or perhaps once before in 2013) and posting a photo of your BFP and fucking off with a 'Good luck everyone! Hope you're as lucky as me!' You are being deliberately obtuse by ignoring the fact that there are a cohort of women here who are like-minded in that they don't feel supported by that level of flagrant insensitivity and would rather not be put in the awkward position of feigning ecstasy over the pregnancy announcement of a complete stranger.

Oh, and who gives me the right to opine on these matters? Well, me, of course. Things change and threads evolve and perhaps in your day everyone was perfectly happy to have random birds leaping on to flash their BFPs....but I very much doubt it. I - and others who have been brave enough to air their concerns about this kind of behaviour - have chosen to speak on behalf of those women who privately have expressed how annoying and disheartening those kind of random announcements from strangers have become. It is not supportive. It is not tactful. It does not bring hope to anyone to come here and say, 'Hi! You don't really know me but I got my BFP today after two months of trying! Good luck everyone!' That just makes us want to gouge their eyes out.

I'm not discussing this any more. These buses are for supporting each other and swapping advice and stories and links and problems and happiness. It's not a shop window for a complete stranger to come and stick a photo up of her piss stick. Please get a grip

...and if you are a complete twat and have offered no support to anyone else on your journey but feel a desperate need to photograph your piss stick and wave it under other women's noses then there's a place just for you: it's called Facebook.

If I got a bfp I'd be tempted to tell you lot before DH, as I luuves you all so much, but if he found out Id be in the dog house for so long itd be horrible.

I knew this bus would go wrong after the way every one treated Tallulah!! Good to see more old timers jumping on and telling people how wonderful it used to be!

Everyone has their own journey some are on it for a long ride and some only take a month everyone should feel welcome to come on here and announce something they cant announce in public for weeks to come. sometimes its nice just to tell someone who understands how wonderful it is.

At the moment these buses are being run like a nazi state, instead you should all be supporting EVERYONE whether you know them or not!

There will always be old timers keeping and eye on the few left on here that we know and want to cheer on and alot of the time these people ask for updates!

And for your information Bitchslapper and Bellaboo are two different people just because more than one person disagrees with you Purdie doesnt mean its one person pretending to be different people!!

Blueberry It is nice to tell someone who understands how wonderful it is - but the people who know how wonderful it is to get a BFP are on the AN threads, not the TTC forums.
