Hello to the newbies and welcome!

Good news is that I finally got my crosshairs this afternoon! When I posted this morning I really didn't think this morning's temp would have made much difference to my chart so I didn't put temp in until this afternoon - so pleased to see those red lines after last cycles kerfuffle. I ovulated when I thought I had on CD18 so our timing should have been spot on...now the wait commences Confused

On the subject of food...what has everyone got for dinner tonight? We have chicken chasseur, roast pots and veg, can't wait!! Smile

tessiegirl · 01/04/2015 17:17

Hair China?! When?!

Hairstylisttoboris · 01/04/2015 17:21

tessie April 20th for 3 months. DH couldn't come with me. I think if they try to make me I'd quit rather than go. It would be too much at this point of ttc.

tessiegirl · 01/04/2015 17:29

Oh no Hair that is truly crap. Are they saying DH couldn't go with you or it just wouldn't be feasible for him to take time off work, would it? They can't make you go.

loopylou1984 · 01/04/2015 17:33

Tessie, congratulations on the crosshairs Smile

Hairstylisttoboris · 01/04/2015 17:49

tessie DH has children here (with his ex) and a job so is tied to the UK and can't leave for that long, they can't make me but may make my life miserable if I refuse.

MissMrsMummy · 01/04/2015 18:01

boris I asked the GP to recommend a clinic. Wasn't sure how to go about choosing one otherwise!

Crikey Boris! Hope you're not too stressed... I'd be putting my foot down!
Abi... You've more willpower than me... I'd have been raiding the nearest Boots hours ago...!

Woolly84 · 01/04/2015 18:26

southy it's probably sensible to have had a break, think of it as still part of the TTC process rather than a step back from it, i can imagine how emotionally draining it must be after so long so a break is part of the journey there. I hope you don't have to wait too long on the nhs.

hair argh that sounds very stressful, I know they can't make you go but I hope they're decent enough not to give you a hard time about it! I hope you don't feel pressured to quit and they accept your decision with grace!

tessie what are crosshairs please? I made up the term angry pubes for them on the other bus but never actually found out what they were!! Blush but yay it sounds like they're a good thing! Grin
Your dinner sounds scrumptious! Here in the Woolly house we're having chicken with a smokey chipotle and creme fraiche sauce, with veggies and rice!

Woolly84 · 01/04/2015 18:27

And abi I wish the power of mumsnet would let me cyber transfer a test to you!!

tessiegirl · 01/04/2015 18:50

No of course Hair, there are not many people whose partner/husband could just drop things at home and go off to live abroad with them. When would you need to let them know by?

Woolly crosshairs are created on a Fertility Friend temping chart once it can pinpoint ovulation for you...let me see if I can work out how to post my chart on here so you can see....your dinner sounds very nice too!! Weather has been like winter here today so thought we needed something cosy! All in the oven apart from the veg so under control! Grin

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 01/04/2015 18:57

woolly I posted my chart this morning, they are the red lines ff put in once it's been able to work out you've ov'd.
boris blimey China, I'd love to go there however not like you say for 3 months in the middle of Ttc
Welcome to the new passengers and sorry for those that have had to jump back on.

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 01/04/2015 19:03

borissammy and anyone else thinking of private treatment you might find this website useful
www.hfea.gov.uk/
I think if I had to consider private I'd look at the CARE fertility place with the embryoscope that Purdey mentioned a while back.

Woolly84 · 01/04/2015 19:06

Ahhh okay, thank you tessie, purple and juney!! Grin how clever, and I totally admire you ladies for having the discipline to temp! Smile

P.S. I don't know what's going on the megabus but it makes me feel sad Sad

tessiegirl · 01/04/2015 19:07

Clever Juney thanks!!! That is the link to my chart Woolly in Juney's post!! Grin The red crosshairs give you the date of ovulation vertically and a coverline horizontally...

Woolly84 · 01/04/2015 19:10

Thanks tessie!! GrinFlowers

tessiegirl · 01/04/2015 19:11

Woolly I know what you mean about the megabus...things have gone very weird. I hope things get back to normal. I fear I have voiced my opinion a little too much over there today but I feel what we were trying to say was getting lost in translation and being made into something that they most certainly are not. Anyway, I'm not saying anything else....

juneybean · 01/04/2015 19:18

###stats###

Juneybean, 29, TTC #1, cycle #5, otd 26th April

Woolly84 · 01/04/2015 19:18

I saw your post tessie and I think you were spot on, I don't feel anybody has been made to feel unwelcome, things seem to have been misinterpreted and hence it's escalated. Anyway, I hope it gets sorted soon!

Yay for it still being daylight at this hour!! Easter Smile makes such a difference.

juneybean · 01/04/2015 19:18

I've jumped off the mega bus...

Woolly84 · 01/04/2015 19:22

juney!! Glad to have you here lovely, how are you?
I've jumped off the megabus too, was feeling really overwhelmed the past couple of days thanks to AF hormones so thought a smaller, quieter bus may calm me a bit!

abi2790 · 01/04/2015 19:24

I've struggled to keep up with the mega bus today! Been absolutely exhausted and now backache (preggo symptoms?!)
