If you can keep up with a bus that fills up in one weekend and chat shit then jump aboard the bus you are never allowed to leave! Trying to set a target for most BFPs on one bus!

No LPBs allowed!

Ohmygosh PUG!!!! Congratulations! Smile

You must be so excited! Smile

I'd just like to say, I think I should take full credit for predicting your future as an almost-cycle-twin-one-month-ahead by getting my BFP a couple of days ago. Grin

spinningirl10 · 31/03/2015 10:22

Morning Smile

Yay Pug!! Congratulations Grin fab chart and I think you deserve a medal for all the sex! I think that the keySmile wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Purdey, I hope you do come back and join us but enjoy your time with Nancy. We'll miss you xx

Mrsb, take it easy at work!

Nomio, yay for house, hope your offer is acceptedSmile

Mamapo, hope af turns up soon for you. It's horrible waiting.

Ff have changed my ov date, only by a day so it makes me 3 rather than 4dpo. I think it's wrongSmile

ThePug · 31/03/2015 10:31

Thank you everyone!
Sweets Yes of course!! All credit goes to you!

Thanks for the sexmedal spinning - I counted up the days last night and told DH who didn't believe me! I'm not sure we've ever had that much action in one month before! Last month we definitely stopped too soon.

Oh I thought of something else. I've been using a saliva ovulation microscope as well, which tied in pretty well with the opks in terms of highlighting peak fertile times. I stopped using it in the TWW but picked it up again a few days ago and was getting weird patterns on it. Not the ones you get when you're at peak fertility, but not what I'd been seeing the rest of the cycles, which was largely blank. It was less than £20 so I'd definitely recommend it as another TTC tool. If you used it for a few months in conjunction with opks, you could probably ditch the opks later and save yourself some money.

Purdey Wherever you are today, I hope you're having a lovely time with little Nancy, and that your tooth isn't giving you too much pain. I fully intend on sticking around here to see you all get your BFPs and hope to see you back in a few days with renewed hope.

tessiegirl · 31/03/2015 10:37

Wahey! Congrats Pug! Grin

Challenge - do you think we could have at least one bfp a day this week, ladies?!

tessiegirl · 31/03/2015 10:39

Ooh Pug, where did you get your saliva ovulation microscope from?

ThePug · 31/03/2015 10:51

Thanks tessie ! - this is it www.accessdiagnostics.co.uk/acatalog/isis-ovulation-microscope-fertility.html?gclid=CP_9yru-nsMCFeHLtAodIkkAQg

I will use it later and take a photo of the lens so you'll know what to look out for! I was googling last night for BFP lens photos and couldn't find any, but I'm certain my spit has changed! Hmm lovely

Beansprout30 · 31/03/2015 11:02

Congratulations pug yay!

tessiegirl · 31/03/2015 11:10

Oh that is great Pug, thanks for the link! Yes please let us see the lens, am very interested!!!

tessiegirl · 31/03/2015 11:13

Oh my! Shock I don't know what I was imagining but I can't believe how small the microscope is Pug! It looks like the size of a lipstick?!

DizzyMerry · 31/03/2015 11:21

I think I will be getting one of those too. I find it stressful to use opks at work and also put it off at home because I'm too busy running around after DD. It'll be much easier to use and I will still use opks in the evening

Oysterbabe · 31/03/2015 11:23

Massive congrats Pug! We knew it! Grin Grin

Giddymamma · 31/03/2015 11:27

Yay pug! Congratulations! X

Queenbee30 · 31/03/2015 11:32

Congratulations pug wishing you a happy and easy 9 months!

Mummyofonesofar · 31/03/2015 11:33

ThePug Oh yes I see the second dip - you are right!

Dreaming about telling us lot! That is fantastic, feeling so loved here Grin I know how you feel. I am very very busy at work at the moment and just told someone they will have to wait til tomorrow for a bit of work to be complete because I am too busy - but always find time to get on here and watch everyones symptoms! I think I love you lot more than my RL friends - that is sad isn't it!!! Also my row with DP the other day was because he knows I will tell you lot about a BFP before I tell him and he isn't happy. But he will never know mwahaha.

spinningirl10 · 31/03/2015 11:36

Ah Pug, it was you with the saliva microscope. I was thinking about it last week but couldn't remember who used one. In my time here, nearly 2 years you're the only person I've ever known to use one. I read about them last year and though they sound like a good idea. Don't think I need anything else to obsess over though.

Purdey, I know you said that there's too much to keep up with but you don't have to reply to every single post. I know you've always made such an effort to do this and it is so lovely but please don't feel that you can't stay here if you can't read/respond to everything. I hope you don't leave, lots of us pop in and out, some disappear for a few days at af, some disappear for months (like Mama31 who recently got her bfp) Can you tell I'm feeling the love for our little group todaySmile

loopylou1984 · 31/03/2015 11:37

Congratulations pug!!

Af has officially arrived now so new stats are

Sammylou 29, ttc 1, cycle 18, otd 28th April.

I'm losing the temping this month, dh and I are just going to dtd when we want for fun. Will be around to keep up with your news, but trying to chill out a bit as it is starting to ruin my life. I know that sounds a bit dramatic, but i honestly have been thinking about nothing else and I don't think it's healthy.

Good luck to everyone! Xx

Woolly84 · 31/03/2015 11:43

sammy sorry to hear AF has arrived Sad
I know what you mean about it taking over, I've decided to hop off the bus for a while and take my mind off it for a bit too.

Here's to lots more BFPs!WineSmile

Mummyofonesofar · 31/03/2015 11:46

Sammy Really sorry about AF. I understand your need to take a bit of a break from it all. I am only on cycle 3 and I let it take over my life so I can only imagine what 18 cycles is doing for your sanity. Enjoy the time away, we will be here when you want to come back Flowers

Sorry AF has officially arrived for you sammy Flowers

DizzyMerry · 31/03/2015 11:50

I know exactly how you feel sammy and it's it utterly rubbish. I've been in a sweary mood since yesterday but I look at DD and feel grateful which calms me down but then I look at her again and feel angry at myself for not being able to give her a sibling. Woe is me today and I feel guilty for feeling this way as I know many of you are ttc #1 and I have DD. I keep thinking there is a magic cure that will get me pregnant but obviously that is not true Sad.
Sorry I'm just ranting on about myself. You chill out and take good care of yourself. Your time will come sammy, it really will.

The one thing that keeps me sane is you wonderful ladies. I love coming on here to catch up and chat. Your advice and support is much appreciated Flowers.

nightandthelight · 31/03/2015 12:15

Woohoo congrats pug

Sorry to hear of AF Sammy Flowers Relaxing is the way to go, I almost had a break down last month (first cycle stupidity) am not tracking anything this month and feeling so much better :)

Sweets27 · 31/03/2015 12:17

sammy - Flowers

Sorry AF's arrived know, and completely understand what you mean about TTC taking over your life. Take a little time off to relax, have some Wine and Cake, and remember your time will come Smile

MaMaPo · 31/03/2015 12:24

sammy, sorry for AF's arrival. I think you're doing the right thing, taking the month off. I really found this cycle much more relaxing and enjoyable without temping and opking and everything - I probably would barely have come on MN if my period wasn't running, well, about 5 days late now and counting.

Much as I love the support of MN I do find it a bit overwhelming and ultimately unhelpful to be here all the time. One of the pamphlets I was given at the consultant's talked about allowing yourself 30 mins per day during the TWW to think about and research stuff about TTC, and I know that that's good advice and I haven't done that in the past, so I decided last cycle to implement it. It certainly helped, to spend less brainspace on it.

This isn't meant to be a denigration of people who love to spend time here over their whole cycle, just that it can be good to take a break sometimes and that was definitely the case for me. Once AF arrives (tomorrow morning, I think) then I probably will disappear off and only come back briefly over the next cycle.

mrsb0710 · 31/03/2015 12:28

pug woohoo!!
Congrats!

I wanna go hoooommmeeee whining . I'll be going straight to bed tonight after work. Feel rotten. If I was further along in my TWW I'd be wanting to test Confused

Sparkly123 · 31/03/2015 12:53

Sammy sorry, I must have got confused with your app time. My dh is the same... "They are the professionals " ... However, I have had many a dealing over the years with doctors and spend a great deal of time In the NHS so I also know better! Def compile a list to take and don't back down if your concerns are not being taken into consideration. So sorry AF arrived. A relaxed cycle sounds just what you need! Flowers

pixa wow. The Vatican! Sounds amazing. Is your husband Mr Grey?! Grin

dojo gorgeous clear clines lovely, fingers crossed!!!! Flowers

DizzyMerry that's good you have bloods sorted and really reassuring to know about private treatment back up I'm sure. I know it must be pretty terrifying to think of going through it all again but I'm hoping and keeping faith you won't have to lovely Flowers

MaMa oh that sounds so lovely not naughty!! It's good to remind yourself of those moments instead if focusing on all this TTC nonsense! Although I was only technically aware of pregnancy for a few days before my early mc In Jan, I often think about those days to remember the excitement and feeling of happiness of having a BFP.. I know it will happen for us both again. I really hope your cycle sorts itself out pronto!!! So frustrating for you. Flowers

Pug you scallywag! I knew it!! Wooooooo!!! Congrats lovely! What a line! Brilliant brilliant news! And love that you told us first ha ha! So happy for you! What cycle was this? So basically we all just dtd lots then! You haven't been on any concoctions of vitamins etc have you? Need I ask.. Brazil nuts?! Grin well done lovely! Flowers

mrsb sorry you are still feeling rotten! FlowersBrew

nomio good luck with house today!

Spinning lucky you being past OV! I still don't know thanks to my silly temps! I think we shall need to keep going... Shock
