aurora Times have changed! We made an executive decision that nobody wants to leave passengers behind and keep jumping from monthly bus to monthly bus, so there should be a forever bus that keeps going and going and anyone can jump on when they need to.
So sorry to hear so many of you are feeling down today.
Hope to see you around from time to time, and just use the Bus to offload, ask advice, share intimate details as & when you want.
lucie That sounds painful, but fx it will be one more step towards your bfp
Sparkly This was only cycle 2 for us, so I'm very lucky. I came off the pill mid January and saw my Dr to get a folic acid prescription (I need 5mg as am diabetic), so I've been taking that and my iron tablets I was already on anyway. Haven't taken any other vitamins, nor have I eaten any brazil nuts or other special food!
tessie Yes the microscope is exactly the same size as a lipstick, and looks the same too so is very discreet to carry around. You literally just pull the lens out the top (about the size of a button), put some spit on it, leave it to dry for 10-15 minutes, put it back in, twiddle it to focus and see what you can see. The beauty is you can use it as many times per day as you want so you don't feel like you're wasting anything like you might with opks.
spinning I don't know why more people don't use them. I found it quite early on when was googling how to get pregnant TTC tips. This month I used the microscope, opks, tracked temp, CM & cervix position on FF and followed SMEP. I'm pretty certain I wouldn't have kept all that faffing up for months though and think it is probably sensible to just pick one or two tools to assist getting the timing right.
Met up with DH at lunch time (I took some jelly babies!) and he is excited. But was complaining that now he'll have to do everything for me too right! Picked up some clearblue digi's so will take one of them in the morning to double check.
