I'm in bed, cuddling a hot water bottle, feeling AF get heavier. The whole world can fuck right off today - except.you lot.

nightandthelight · 06/04/2015 08:30

Ooh Melon my reading of pixa's suggestion was bloods to test for pregnancy as they are more sensitive than urine. Was that the case pixa?

FlowersWineCake for you mrsb!

spinningirl10 · 06/04/2015 08:30

Morning Smile

Melon, limbo is awful. Sorry for the bfn, I hope you find out what's going on soon.

Haha Dizzy, 3 weeks of blowjobs! Dp would be the same.

I think the lack of sex/ crap sperm is our problem. We do ok over ov but he's working such long hours at the moment we probably only have sex once a week at other times of the month so the sperm just aren't good enough!

Sparkly, the beach picnic sounds lovely but paddling!! You're brave!
I'm still temping, I don't think we'll be getting out Christmas baby. I'm 9/10 dpo and don't have any symptoms. My usual nausea which is pissing me off! Will post my chart shortly.

Wow, it's a beautiful day here, blue skies and sunshine. I was going to decorate but think ds and I may go for a walk first.

spinningirl10 · 06/04/2015 08:31

Oh Mrsb, you stay there and cuddle your hot water bottle. Do you have an Easter egg to make you feel better?

spinningirl10 · 06/04/2015 08:35

Here's my chart. Nowt special going on!
Sparkly how's your s looking?
Who's poas soon? Any good symptoms going on?

Oh I forgot to mention Kt, welcome to you. I read your post on the conception board and I'm pleased you've joined us. You've had a tough journey and I hope you find this a fun place to be

spinningirl10 · 06/04/2015 08:45

Dizzy, hats off to you and your dh. Tough jobs at times I should think, especially as a paramedic.

Well we are travelling up to the funeral early Friday morning and staying overnight. This was all sorted 3/4 weeks ago but now my Dad has panicked my Mum and said we won't get there in time and wants to travel up thurs and come home after the funeral. I'm so pissed off with him, he wouldn't get involved in the arrangements at the time, everyone's booked time off work and now he just thinks it can all be changed! My bro and sis are also travelling with us. The B&b are full thurs night so I've told him if he wants to change the plans he can pay me the deposit back that I've already paid on our rooms and he can find somewhere else for us to stay! Ok rant over Smile

Yokyil · 06/04/2015 08:47

spinning we're the same - gonna start DTD much more often Wink it's for the greater good dh's bdays all come at once Grin and starting to exercises again, have been a lazy so and so this past month maybe 3 need to kick myself up the backside.
Going for a walk this beautiful morning Star

Pixa · 06/04/2015 08:48

Melon sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Night had it spot on, if at five days late, I didn't have any usual AF symptoms I would head for a blood test to test for pregnancy.

MrsB hand holding here, also sending Easter eggs virtually. FlowersCake

Spinning I have not researched temping enough to be able to comment on charts yet. Envious of your beautiful weather, its a bit gloomy here unfortunately. We have got a BBQ in the diary late May for all the family though so will be looking out for good BBQ recipes. Easter Grin Definitely take advantage and go for a walk.

DH is having an unusually long sleep. He is usually at the gym by now, I daren't walk around the house because I don't want to wake him.

mrsb0710 · 06/04/2015 08:52

DH just rang from work to see how I was. Bad idea. I just cried. Poor man wants to come home, I've told him it's just the hormones but I know he's worried.
One small blessing - I don't have to go to work today. About to take some co codamol and have puppy cuddles.
Sorry ladies, I know you all have your own journeys and many have been longer than mine. Just feels shit right now.

New stats. ######## mrsb #mmc 31 Dec #ttc 1 #cycle 4 # bfp due 8 may #########

Yokyil · 06/04/2015 08:53

melon my cycle this month was 5 days late - it's never ever late so was convinced I was upduffed. 3 tests later eod all negative Confused had my early mc in January and my cycles popped back to normal pretty much straight away just wondering if it could still be thing rectifying themselves?? I DTD and it came on the following day...I'd try that Wink just feels like you can do nothing - I was convinced I was broke. If nowt comes the next 2 days is get onto the docs and get your bloods taken

Yokyil · 06/04/2015 08:56

mrsb so sorry for your loss and that you're finding yourself at a low ebb Flowers it will get better, and it's still early days after your mc-let your body and mind heal and you'll get your bfp. Don't put too much pressure on yourself x

Riceicle1 · 06/04/2015 09:25

mrsb Flowers I'm so sorry that you are so low! I did the same to dh on Friday. I was crying for about an hour on the phone and he really wanted to come home. It must be hard for them to see us at such a low ebb. I hope the evil tide of hormones recedes soon Flowers

victoria401 · 06/04/2015 09:41

Oh mrsb you poor thing :-( massive hugs hun Flowers hope you feel better soon.

Morning all. The sun is shining here so gonna try get dh out for a walk. And we need to do the first lawn cut of the year, and I wanted him to pressure wash the patio. Too much to ask? Have a nice Monday girls x

purdiepie · 06/04/2015 10:03

Sparkly! What's your one-tube news? You are such an excellent bearer of good news! Yes..I was happy to hear of the jammy bitch 44 yr-old who conceived via AI. I can't help feeling somewhat distanced from these amazingly lucky people people; almost as if they are special and I can't possibly be. Does that make sense to anyone? The lucky ones seem 'over there' and the strugglers who have to pay for their babies abroad are kind of stuck here. What ungrateful nonsense I blather when I have squidgy chimp..

I'm so glad your 2ww is gathering speed with hardly any angst or twitching. Yes, I know you're thin, but as far as I can be sure you don't live in a caravan tax free and bellow 'Hoi noi broin coi' and not much else due to being an illiterate cage-fighting thief Smile

Thanks for asking about N-Pantz. She is really, really not good in terms of snotting and coughing and vomiting. The puking only ever happens at night in her cot after a prolonged coughing fit and the coughing is a result of 'drippy nose' whereby all the snot she is able to expel from her nose during the day when she is up and about (ie me following her around with a box of tissues) drips directly into the back of her throat as she sleeps. It is becoming a nightly vigil of changing the sheets on cots and beds, trying to wake a merrily snoring DH to come help bath a sick-splattered tot and then trying to calm an oddly-laughing and turbo-charged nipper. Aaaaargh! I have to say this is the hardest I have found motherhood. I have to say, though, that DH and I make a brilliant team in the eye of the storm Smile

spinningirl10 · 06/04/2015 10:15

Purdey, I totally get what you mean. Last year I was here with 2 other ladies the same age as us. They both got their bfps and now have their babies. I'm on the PD fb group with them. The odds are stacked against us and percentage wise we can't all get lucky can we?! Interestingly one of those got her bfp using AIGrin we have to keep hoping for our miracle Purdey or what's the point of putting ourselves through it month after month.
Poor Nancy, have you been to the docs with her? It's awful seeing them unwell and distressed.
Good to hear you're tackling it together thoughSmile
Kt, like the positive thinking, more sex can only be a good thing Smile

purdiepie · 06/04/2015 10:17

Melon, it is just awful getting those BFNs when AF is delayed. Please stop doing them; you have ovulated later than you thought by the sounds of it. My sympathies Thanks Would you consider temping? Do you use opks? Did you have a 'natural' miscarriage or was it an ERPC? What was the scan you've had since..to check for any retained products? I think it's just a matter of time for you, lovely.

MrsB, as those hormones leave I promise you will be back to normal. This is how this works, right? Right! I was a birrova mess mesel' last month but here I am ready to start AI-ing this weekend. I'm sorry you're so low, it is the miscarriage that is making every BFN and AF ten times worse. You are not further away from your baby - you are closer Thanks

Dizzy, I know for sure there are some dedicated and hard-working coppers out there. The Rotherham abuse scandal and the case of the Rochdale grooming gangs still loom large for those of us who live in the North and it is hard to imagine a whole cache of police working in these areas who ignored the plight of lower-working-class white girls for fear of being labelled racist. Of course it wasn't just the police; it was social workers too, and it disgusts me that those who are assigned to care for the weak and the vulnerable are institutionally afraid to do their jobs. I know these cases shouldn't cast shadows over the rest of the force, but it does.

I've been helped enormously by the police when I was being battered and they supported me all the way to Crown Court in 2011 when I had to bear witness to being kidnapped and abused by my ex. So, yes..there are some proper good eggs out there. Just don't get me started on defence barristers...Angry

nightandthelight · 06/04/2015 10:20

Sorry to hear about NPants Purdey hope she recovers soon.

So I thought that most of my cycles were 26 days or over and this is true but only just! Over my last 35 cycles 17 have been under 26 days :(

tessiegirl · 06/04/2015 10:22

Happy Easter Monday everyone!!! I'm in a bit of a mood as we are just about to cook breakfast and DH informs me that he lent all our forks to our neighbours where we had the BBQ yesterday....the same neighbours we have just seen go out for the day so no hope of getting our forks back in time for breakfast....ffs!!!!!!! Will just have to eat with a spoon and knife...not the end of the world but hey, I'm hormonal! Angry

Purdey I am a freak noticing your spelling name change, you're right! I also guessed what Dizzy did for a living a few weeks back when we were all discussing the legal system and she said she too was involved but quite early on... Poor little Nancy being sick, sounds as though you and DH are an excellent team!

Melon so sorry you are in limbo.... Flowers

Welcome Kt!!

Yes Sparkly FF still thinks I possibly ov'd on CD16 now...it doesn't make sense to me... Confused

Those of you talking about Croatia, I have heard it is beautiful there and not far away from us here in Sarajevo at all!! Plus parts of it were used to film Game of Thrones, so that makes me excited Smile

Yesterday's snow BBQ happened inside in the end. It was nice - although 15 adults, 2 kids and a baby all cramped into quite a small apartment was a bit mad!! Grin

frogbubbles · 06/04/2015 10:24

Pixa if have my fx that something is going on in there and you just tested a bit early.

Mrsb I'm sorry you are feeling so low and down. Sending lots of virtual hugs and positive vibes to get you through this.

About the girls getting pregnant first time, It does happen I was 18, young, stupid and very naive and now have 14 year boy as proof.

I didn't think we would have problems ttc but since last year, I just don't know if it will ever happen. All these tests scare the hell out of me, and we are so terrified that if we need help with the Ivf route we probably won't qualify. deep breath just trying to take it one step at a time and hoping we get a very sticky little bean.

purdiepie · 06/04/2015 10:38

Spinning, I won't give up TTC until the menopause - unless, of course, mum or dad step in with some of my inheritance which is all tied up in mum's house Of course I won't really try until the menopause. When is that? 51 on average, right? I think it would be bonkers to have a nipper at that age. I already feel guilty that I will be 60 years-old when Nancy hits eighteen Shock I'm particularly worried of the speed at which technology is overwhelming me. I grew up without computers (there were none at school) and never studied IT and am now, admittedly and shamefully, rather afraid of it. Perhaps I will grow with Nancy through the revolutions of technology? Smile

I'm so sorry I've wittered about random stuff this morning Blush Spinning, I think you and I are in with a chance of conceiving but that we will have to be Very Patient. We also need more sperm. Especially you. I say that because you've admitted there are issues around ov with DH having to deliver quite so often. Will he agree to AI so you can be dripping with the stuff? My patience is required because of the one-tube situation. I don't have a chance every month to conceive Sad Can we do this, Spinners? Can we?? We both need patience..but most of all we need loads of sperm Thanks

MelonMelon · 06/04/2015 10:41

purdey I used opk this month but never got a positive, not bothering with them again and ditto temping, don't want to start that as it'll just be another thing to obsess over.

My MC in august wasn't natural (Never actually bled just had brown spotting and cramps) and i had an erpc. The scan was in November to delve around trying to find my absent period. It came back the day after!

This is torture. I'm beyond hoping for a bfp now but I can't move on to the next cycle Sad

purdiepie · 06/04/2015 10:52

Oh blimey, Tessie, I'm laughing at you trying to eat with a knife and spoon. Mind you, if you eat cereal all day you'll be alreet.

Night, I noticed on the April thread you were advised by another short-cycler that charting may well reveal that you ov early and therefore have a decnt-length LP. This is perfectly true although unlikely so please don't panic util we've examined a few of your charts Thanks

Right, Mother is on her way....

nightandthelight · 06/04/2015 10:55

Ok I promise not to panic purdey :) thermometer and opks have been dispatched by Amazon so will be already if I don't get my BFP this cycle!

nightandthelight · 06/04/2015 10:55

Or indeed all ready!
