mummy there was no way I could tell my parents before my DH. I am really close to them, I don't know how long I'll be able to wait before telling them.

eskimolaura · 30/03/2015 10:31

dojo Massive congratulations! Soo excited for you my lovely. See? Twas that there ear thermometer wot did it ;)

Marmite27 · 30/03/2015 10:34

Not a bad wife at all, my DH was in the loo with me but still asked if I'd put it on mums net yet when I got my BFP.

It's a bloody long wait till your first scan! I got my BFP on the Jan bus and mine is today. Hope it flys for you x

dojo123 · 30/03/2015 10:36

This is what the second test looks like now...
I'm glad I am working from home today because I think I would be pretty useless if I had to meet with anyone!
According to Ovia pregnancy app I am only 3+5 today so I'm still nervous after my mc at 5 in jan/feb. The test seemed stronger this time and came up quicker than in Jan. Also when I tested in Jan I was 4+3 so I'm hoping this is a sticky bean.

dojo !!!!! Congrats Grin.

Flowers to AF ladies. April for BFPs for sure.

Called in sick, feel immensely guilty, and a bit stressed as I don't want them to think I'm just making it up. Have some kind of viral thing for sure Sad

HeirToTheIronThrone · 30/03/2015 10:47

Dojo how wonderful!

I am laid up on the sofa with duvet and the most hideous cough/cold. Any pregnancy-friendly cold remedies are very welcome!

MaMaPo · 30/03/2015 10:47

Wonderful news dojo - congratulations. :)

Does good news come in threes, like bad news? If so, then I have just ticked off my first bit of good news - I've been working on getting a piece of professional recognition granted for the last fifteen months and it just came through today. Brilliantly exciting, means I will now get a promotion, I can call myself something more professional-sounding and it will really work well for a new type of work I'll be doing. I'm really pleased.

A BFP would really make my day week month year! (Plus I've only been working on that for 11 months!)

Oops - just realised I got my dates wrong. CD26 today, not 27 - AF could still arrive tomorrow and it'd be relatively normal. Bah.

dojo123 · 30/03/2015 10:55

heir you can have paracetamol but I always find a mug of hot honey and lemon makes you feel better. 1tbsp of honey (manuka if poss) 1-2tbsp of lemon juice and boiling water. You can also have halls soothers. Also chicken soup I think has great comforting properties. Most importantly fluids. Plenty of water.
I'm in bed at the mo. Not because I am feeling poorly just that I'm wearing a skirt and haven out on tights yet and it's blummin freezing!! Grin

Mummyofonesofar · 30/03/2015 10:56

Mummyofonesofar · 30/03/2015 10:58

dojo123 · 30/03/2015 10:59

mamapo congrats on the work thingy (sorry I'm not more specific, is there an actual title?). I hope good news come in threes for you too.

tessiegirl · 30/03/2015 11:00

tessiegirl · 30/03/2015 11:01

DizzyMerry · 30/03/2015 11:03

spinningirl10 · 30/03/2015 11:20

Mrsb, sorry you're still poorly, rest up

Heir, yes to hot lemon and honey or lemon and ginger. Get well soonThanks

Mamapo, that's fantastic. All your hard work has paid off, congratulations on the promotionSmile

Purdey, where are you this morning? Hope you're ok.

frogbubbles · 30/03/2015 11:21

Morning lovelies, sorry to everyone who got caught out with AF last night/this morning.

Boris, thanks for that I think I need a virtual slap round the face ha ha! I was looking into it and I think cd13 is the best day to start with the OPKs.

Mrsb hope you are feeling better soon.

Marmite, how exciting for you! Have a lovely time later at you scan.

Dojo... eeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkk!!!!! Congratulations my dear. Fab fab news this morn.

frogbubbles · 30/03/2015 11:23

Mapo missed your post well done you on your promotion, congratulations!! Smile

purdeypie · 30/03/2015 11:37

I haven't caught up but yay! for you Dojo! What an amazing thrill! Thanks I'm so sorry for temp drops and BFNs Sad

Spinning, your DD is 19, right? The BF is 35?? Shock

My temp plummeted to the coverline this morning and I have to say I am really, really upset about it. I cannot understand an 18/19 day LP and I am furious it could be the vitB-complex lengthening an already-healthy LP. I am royally pissed off.

Will catch up later when I can be arsed.

purdeypie · 30/03/2015 11:40

Oh, and I do not get free nhs treatment as I am not on any benefits.

Queenbee30 · 30/03/2015 11:41

Hello! Is it ok if I join or is this an 'existing passengers' only bus?

stats are:
Queenbee30, 30, ttc#1, cycle 2, AF/bfp due 16th April(although only had one AF since off the pill so might be a bit squiffy)

toadierocks · 30/03/2015 11:44

ah sorry for AF Sammy Mummy and Woolly next month will be the one! Flowers

BUT massive congratulation to Dojo !!!!!!! So excited for you and good work on the POAS marathon this morning Grin

Right I'm off to have a POAS party myself........... report back soon!

spinningirl10 · 30/03/2015 11:45

Oh Purdey, that's totally shitSad treat yourself to an extra twirl, small consolation I know. Nothing makes it better when you've got your hopes up xx
Yep 19 and 35Confused not the bestHmm

spinningirl10 · 30/03/2015 11:48

Purdey, why aren't you on benefits? Is it because Nancy is so young?

Nomio230 · 30/03/2015 11:52

Dojo!!!!!!!!! Yay, massive congratulations! I really hope you have a nice sticky one there. I think it is hilarious that you posted before telling DH, I have often wondered what I would do in that situation.

Morning to all you other lovely ladies. I have been MIA the last couple of days as we looked at 6 houses on Sat, then unexpectedly had 2 of my nephews come to stop, plus we had a family meal yesterday. I have missed you all!

CD12 for me. We managed to DTD, as my mum had the monsters last night. We have them again tonight & tomorrow, but they are going Weds morning (CD14), so shouldn't affect TTC. We have the little one in our room, so wouldn't feel right doing it.

Sorry for me me me post, but we think we might have found our house! We have a second viewing later & are quite excited.

Any other BFPs?
