*there. I'm not illiterate, I promose!

mrsb0710 · 28/03/2015 09:23

mummy frog hope your respective OHs pull their head out and make it up to you. DH is doing some serious overtime in that department. I'm not being sulky about it, but he knows I'm still not 100% happy with him.

FX to those POAS soon. We need some BFPs!

purds still no AF? I have some national trust binoculars I can lend you.

Off to see the MIL - give me strength.

loopylou1984 · 28/03/2015 09:29

Oyster I'm 12 dpo too according to FF, but trying to think of it as 10dpo like Purdey thought so that I don't get excited and test too early! Lol. Tbh I think I know I'm not pg, after 16 cycles I just know how pre af feels.

Pixa - I like temping because I like 1) the confirmation that I have definitely ovd, and 2) a warning that af is about to arrive. As far as predicting if you're pregnant goes it's pretty worthless as I've seen lovely looking charts that ended in af and terrible looking charts that ended in a bfp! Xx

spinningirl10 · 28/03/2015 09:30

Dizzy, I'm sorry to hear your dh is the same sometimes but good to know mine isn't the only one. Your description of porn and pole dancing would get the same reaction for my dpHmm the rest of the everything is fine. it's just the on demand bit he finds hard and unsexy I guess. Ivf is looking like a very good option right now! Enjoy your runSmile

Ooh Oyster and Sammy, yay for high temps, keeping fx for you.

Pixa, I wouldn't temp. It's early days for you right? Ttc can soon escalate into complete craziness, keep it fun in these early days and hopefully you'll soon have your bfpSmile

Oysterbabe · 28/03/2015 09:31

Pixa If it turns out I'm pregnant then I definitely recommend charting, this has been my first month doing it. I think it's been really important for me. I assumed I ovulated at Cd14 as I'm a standard 28 day kind of girl. My temp and opks both indicated that I actually ovulated at Cd17. We'd almost certainly been stopping DTD too early.

Pixa · 28/03/2015 09:32

Mummy that is a very odd dream! Did you find the cure? DH put the sugar tin in the fridge so don't worry, it happens to everyone

My latest dream was finding a baby, wrapped in a plastic carrier bag, on a super market shelf. I took it to customer service, told them what had happened and asked them to call the police because it had obviously been abandoned. I hugged the baby, put it in a nappy and a babygrow. In my dream, I was convinced that I was finally given a baby. (Bizarre, I know). A strange woman, not at all the mother of the baby, stole the child from me. I just sobbed into the cashiers shoulder telling her that I have tried for so long. Then I woke up. Absolutely odd. It has perfect reflection to my daily life but woke up with an overwhelming sense of sadness. Luckily, DH cheered me up with a cup of tea and a hug!

spinningirl10 · 28/03/2015 09:33

Oh and Dizzy, I don't know about the brownies. I make real brownies for the kids and dp. These in no way resemble them. I will try one later and see if I'm liking them more. Sometimes there's just no substitute for the real thingWink

Woolly84 · 28/03/2015 09:38

Morning ladies! Just popping in to say a quick hello before I head out to run some errands!
mummy and frog I hope things get better with the OHs today x
sammy and oyster I am v excited for you both!! I think I'm out this month so waiting for AF to rock up.
pixa I suggested my niece's name and DH and I then realised we really wanted it if we have a daughter - doh!!

Woolly84 · 28/03/2015 09:41

Oh and I had a weird dream too last night!! That I was on this big old amphitheater, trying to climb up these really steep stone steps, but then got horrible vertigo and my feet just froze and I couldn't move - not v nice! Hmm

HeirToTheIronThrone · 28/03/2015 09:41

So are bus graduates allowed on the new infini-bus?? I can bring piles of ginger biscuits with me [nausea face]

Pixa · 28/03/2015 09:41

Sammy, Oyster and Spinning thanks for your views. Truly appreciate them. This is cycle 7 for us, so relatively early days but we have been planning to TTC since mid-2012 so it feels absolutely like forever. We have had 6 cycles of having fun. One cycle of OPKs and preseed. I think we had a chemical pregnancy over Christmas (Faint positive on 23rd, fainter positive on 24th, AF on Christmas day) but I try and tell myself it wasn't a chemical pregnancy and it was just a shadow on the test. I will keep temping in mind for the future. DH often likes a plan so I might say after cycle 9, we will step the science up a notch. Thanks all. Smile

Mummyofonesofar · 28/03/2015 09:43

Pixa I ended up paying a street vendor for the cure details but keeping t a secret from OH. Very odd.

spinningirl10 · 28/03/2015 09:44

Dojo, respect on the homemade hot cross buns, totally yummy but a bit of a faff to make. I really want hot cross buns now!Smile

DizzyMerry · 28/03/2015 09:50

Morning ladies.
The dreams are interesting. Sometimes I think they can be a reflection of our thoughts as seems the case with you Pixa. Wotsits yours is just downright filthy and not sure what it reflects! I used to get them a lot when ttc # and before just before bfp. I get them sometimes now about babies and others thinking I'm pregnant.
Oyster and sammy fx for you and for those due to POAS in the next few days.
Spinning I've never tried the sweet potato brownies but will still agree that nothing can be a substitute for the real thing. I followed a recipe on mumsnet, Suzy Wong brownies and they are lush. I just swap the nuts for choc chips as I don't like the thought of nuts in brownies.

Have been dtd four days in a row now. One more to go and then can relax!

mrsb0710 · 28/03/2015 09:53

heir of course. You can bring us good luck for our bfps. Have you tried crystallised ginger? That can help, and peppermint tea.

Pixa · 28/03/2015 10:00

DH is being sent to the supermarket, post-gym session, to pick up hot cross bun ingredients.

MelonMelon · 28/03/2015 10:08

Weird dream: last night that my DH let my ex-friend sleep in our spare room and I saw her sneaking put of the house in the morning!

babsbunny · 28/03/2015 10:10

Hi girls. Sorry I've been AWOL a few days but was grumpy about af and sulking in a corner....

Eternal bus? F*ing amazing idea! Can I get a one way, lifetime saver, super offpeak ticket to parenthood please?

Now we can really make ourselves at home! Can we add a pool extension with steam room?

Hope everyone is ok. I'm going to read back through everything over the day in between packing boxes for move.

STATS

Babsbunny, 33, Ttc#1, cycle 4, bfp due 22ish April.

wotsits1 · 28/03/2015 10:31

Oh .... My... God... I am literally drooling at the thought of homemade hot cross buns!!!! Dojo, will you marry me?

I'm off to friends tonight for tea so have made a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. I totally didn't eat the surplus toffee sauce out of the pan with a spoon Blush

I agree... my dream was just filth. No reasonable explanation other than I'm a perv. In my defence... he wasn't dressed as Voldemort at the time!

toadierocks · 28/03/2015 10:44

Morning lovely ladies
Its taken me two cuppa's and at least 45 mins to catch up since yday afternoon!

mummy - so pleased you and DH have made up and a cuppa in bed always sweetened the path, pleased for you hun Flowers

Juney - how are you this morning?

STILL chuckling at the Karcrapians! Grin love that crazy show!

Pug - I've woken up with a snuffy nose this morning...... (tries very hard not to show how much excitement I have at another possible symptom)

Purds.....any sign yet? are you going to POAS today???? Brew and Cake for you

Oyster and Sammy - I'm 12dpo too, are you both going to ninja POAS over the weekend or wait till Monday, I'm doing my best to wait it out but oh the temptation!

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend x

Giddymamma · 28/03/2015 10:47

Dojo, impressed you can quickly whip up hot cross buns! Only discovered them and mince pies in event years, delicious.

Spinning, I am a partial Ella covert... The lunch box was good, ds couldn't get enough sweet potato wedges, but I also made her beetroot soup. Looks amazing, tastes, urm, gloopy...

Hi heir! I'm refusing to leave too. :)

HeirToTheIronThrone · 28/03/2015 10:51

Ooooh, I have a whole pack of hot cross buns in the kitchen... They shall be my reward as we had BIL, SIL and two nieces to stay last night, the girls are adorable but struggled with 8am shouting and coco pops whilst trying not to vom...

PurdeyPie · 28/03/2015 10:56

No AF but a bit of a temp drop. Haven't tested. 'Tis on its crimson way

Forgive me but I skipped all the dream talk Hmm

Oysterbabe · 28/03/2015 11:00

toadie I keep changing my mind about doing it tomorrow. I should really wait until Monday.
I just feel really optimistic about this month and I'm desperate to know but really depressed at the prospect of a bfn. Knicker watch is in overdrive and no sign of AF. In a normal month I would have had brown-tinged cm and AF would get going today. cm is clear as clear can be. 5 or 6 days ago I had one day of what I think was an implantation bleed, brown blood just on the tissue. not enough to use a tampon, that's never happened before.
Like I said before, it's the hope that's gonna kill me!! Grin

Mummyofonesofar · 28/03/2015 11:00

Heir 8 am shouting? That's good going! When we stay at other people's houses DS is still up at 6.30. Was nice today though as he got up and made me buttery toast and gave me a cuddle reminding me he loves me dearly. Grin
