Autumn, call your doctor. This may not be anything to worry about but go and get checked out and get peace of mind. I hope hope hope all is okay. Let us know what happens. Thinking of you. Xxxxxxxxxx

loopylou1984 · 23/03/2015 09:13

Oh Autumn, I really hope it's not a loss. I don't have any first hand advice, but I do know of someone who has this early bleeding, thought she'd lost the baby and then everything was fine. Go and get yourself checked Hun, thinking of you, Xx

babsbunny · 23/03/2015 09:14

Oh Autumn. Call you gp straight away. Like giddy says could all be perfectly fine. keep strong x

Autumn2014 · 23/03/2015 09:20

I don't understand what my doctor could do though? Nothing would stop it and I am only 4 plus 6 days. The mw is due to ting me Wed as I wanted to discuss consultant led care referral so should I wait and mention it then and see what she says? I've already registered my pregnancy with the Gp I needed aspirin prescribed so had a phone appt last week. I've Bern and wiped and it's still there.

Giddymamma · 23/03/2015 09:28

Aw sweetheart, it's up to you but I would call them, they may just be able to give you some reassurance that a lot of women have spotting during their pregnancies. I have everything crossed for you.

pinningwobble · 23/03/2015 09:34

Autumn I hope you're ok x

mummyofonesofar · 23/03/2015 09:37

Autumn I hope you are ok, I would give them a call. They can give you some advice at least. Flowers

nightandthelight · 23/03/2015 09:57

No pic spinning simply wasn't good enough! It was a Victoria sponger :)

nightandthelight · 23/03/2015 09:58

Fx for you Autumn, would definitely go see GP!

pinningwobble · 23/03/2015 10:12

Chart help anyone? Had massive temp dip this morning (though did temp slightly earlier than usual) and copious amounts of watery cm. so ff took away my solid lines and gave me dotted ones (I assume due to cm)

Any thoughts?

PurdeyPie · 23/03/2015 10:13

Sparkly, I am thinking of you. Be strong and try to focus on the fact that you will be more empowered after this scan - whatever the news. We love you, chicken Thanks

MrsB, every day for four days.

I am 11dpo with a really high temp

Hairstylisttoboris · 23/03/2015 10:14

aw autumn I'd be phoning my GP for sure. Thinking of you. There might be something they can do. Big hugs.

pinningwobble · 23/03/2015 10:14

Purdey fx for you!!

spinningirl10 · 23/03/2015 10:18

Sparkly, good luck with your scan today xx

Purdey, I'm liking the high temp! Got everything crossed hereSmile

Oh Autumn, I would definitely call your gp, they can take bloods for you which would see what's happening. I'm really hoping it's just the bean settling in and nothing more.

PurdeyPie · 23/03/2015 10:20

Autumn, unfortunately you are correct and the GP will be able to do nothing. A scan at EPU will not be offered unless the bleeding is bright red, profuse (filling more than three pads in an hour) and accompanied by severe pain. Moreover, a heartbeat cannot be detected until 6wks + 3 days; it is doubtful a fetal pole will even be seen. It's important to try to relax as much as you can, Autumn and speak to your mw on Wednesday. Obviously if the bleeding takes on characteristics as described above then you should go to A&E.

Autumn, it is really, really common to have brown blood at this stage (especially around the time your period would have been due). The embryo will also still be implanting at this early stage. There is nothing to do but wait and hope. We are all thinking of you Thanks

PurdeyPie · 23/03/2015 10:28

pinningwobble, aaargh! Your chart is off its bastard head. Are you 100% sure you read your opk's correctly? Are you sure? I would have said, the other day when we were looking at this, that you ov'd on CD17, but that would mean four days after your initial LH surge. Is that possible? Feck knows on these buzzes. Also, your cm dried up after CD14 (but, again, this could be erroneous on your part; cm should be checked just once a day at the same time as it can change hugely from hour to hour).

So..you're either 7- or 9dpo today with a huge temp drop. How much earlier did you take your temperature? How long are your cycles normally?

pinningwobble · 23/03/2015 10:40

Hello purdey! No worries, yes was definitely correct and also backed up by cm and cervix position. I used to use a persona monitor for contraception and still use it now to be doubly sure when I'm ovulating. Got 'o' sign on day 14/15. Check cm every morning at 8 without fail.

My cycles are usually 27 days with 12 day luteal phase. Had a 31 day cycle last month but I ovulated late due to stress.

Took temp an hour earlier than usual...

tessiegirl · 23/03/2015 10:50

Thinking of you Autumn

DizzyMerry · 23/03/2015 10:51

autumn spotting in early pregnancy is common. I hope you're ok and fx for a sticky bean Flowers will be thinking of you

spinningirl10 · 23/03/2015 10:59

Purdey, do you not think the gp could take bloods for Autumn? I had my loss at 5+6 (I know that's a week on) but my gp was amazing. When I called they said for me to go straight down and they would take bloods. Had to wait for the next morning for results but by then I was bleeding quite heavily and knew the outcome.
I do think it varies depending on where you are. My epu will see you from 6 weeks.
