Thank you. Smile

dojo123 · 22/03/2015 16:17

Afternoon ladies

Firstly congrats to missmrs and marys wishing you a great 8 months
Sorry to thoses that AF has arrived.

eskimo waves back glad your doggie is back home where he belongs.

After my post last night things took a turn for the worse (not terrible terrible before you lot worry) my dnephew cried over the monitor so DH went up to check on him. Brought him downstairs as he was worried he was too hot. We got him some water and as we were about to remove his sleep bag/suit thingy he coughed and was sick all over DH. We managed to settle him back down but from 1am (when his parents came home) he cried and very unsettled. DH had to head home early this morning as he had to work today but I stayed to help look after dniece. My brother and sil took dnephew to Drs and he has a chest infection. While they were at the Drs me and my dniece made her Easter bonnet. (I might have taken over somewhat!)

I am now on a train back home catching up on MN. Also think I am 3dpo so 2WW here I come!

PurdeyPie · 22/03/2015 16:20

Ah, Spinning, I am going doolally. Sorry Blush

Is it wrong that I want to jump on that dragon's dick and ride it like a rodeo cowboy? Hmm

There a have been a couple of women on here lately who have pm'd me with help re my love of gardening and also when I was having dental pain. I don't want to embarrass them here but, along with the lovely Butteryknicks who came here to advise me about my glasses, I can't think of a more warm-hearted and generous bunch of ladies to be friends with. Such kindness and care. I love you, innit Thanks

PurdeyPie · 22/03/2015 16:31

Oh, Dojo, what a shame for that tot. It's awful when they throw up, isn't it? They look so helpless. You made me laugh when you said you may have taken over with the Easter bonnet Grin

dojo123 · 22/03/2015 16:35

purdey he just sounded to rattley when he breathed I could just imagine the pain he was feeling.

I was totally in my element with the tissue paper, pipe cleaners, glitter and glue. Even though my job is in design, I do feel I lack the freedom to be creative sometimes. Sil was loving it though as it meant she didn't need to do it later in the week!

Hairstylisttoboris · 22/03/2015 16:40

Eeeughh is there anything worse than cheesy facebook pregnancy announcements? One today makes me want to vomit. And cry. Envy Angry bah

mrsb0710 · 22/03/2015 16:48

hair Sad. You'll get your own soon.
Haven't even thought of how we'll announce ours soon. Probably tell immediate family and friends, and then fbook. As much as that seems cheesy, we have friends scattered all over the world, so not sure of the logistics.

Right, need to stop procrastinating and go get work clothes ready.

Hairstylisttoboris · 22/03/2015 16:58

Thanks mrsb I reckon that no one who has been on these buses will be insensitive, crass or cheesy in announcing pregnancies. We all know to much if the pain and joy to be thoughtless. It's got to be a wonderful thing to announce :)

frogbubbles · 22/03/2015 17:02

Ozmund I am officially jealous!! I et that was pretty cool, even if the coffee wasn't quite damn fine coffee Grin

Boris I'm with you on the cheesy fb announcements. Blah!

mrsb0710 · 22/03/2015 17:17

hair crass, as in post a pic of me having an internal Shock. Haha...joking.

DH has said we can get tickets to The Beach Boys in London if we can budget it. I'm super excited 29 year old in a 45 year old body

I saw them when I lived/work in Maui. But the ticket cost me $10 and everyone smelt like weed Hmm. May not be the same atmosphere at Royal Albert.

mrsb0710 · 22/03/2015 17:19

Whoops. 45 year old in a 29 year old body. Obviously I'm diminishing in the brain cell department.
Not that only older people like that kind of music..shutting up now. Blush

MissMrsMummy · 22/03/2015 17:21

I'm back to fill you all in! Thanks for the lovely replies, you are all great!

This was my 2nd cycle of the following plan:

3 x Holland and Barratt Evening Primrose Oil per day (to help with ewcm as I never previously had any! Also to make my vagina etc more welcoming!)

2 x Holland and Barratt B-Complex per day (desperately trying to lengthen my luteal phase and prevent spotting)

DH and I took Boots Conception Support his and hers

No alcohol for me or DH

DH cut down caffeine to 1 cup a day and I wasn't having any anyway

Less dairy (switched to Alpro Almond milk for cereal, Alpro soya yogurts and only had milk in decaff coffee)

Less sugar

I didn't notice much of a difference the first cycle. No ewcm or anything. Felt a bit healthier and lost a few lbs from not drinking. My LP increased by 1 day (woo hoo!)

This cycle I had ewcm! Then I had pink spotting at 6DPO (which is early even for me) then NO SPOTTING WHATSOEVER that was the best symptom for me!

So I just tested this morning as I have never got to 11DPO without a few days of spotting first.

We only DTD 3 times, 2 days before OV then the day before and on OV day. Plus another day last week which was too late.

It's just starting to sink in now! Grin

Please ask me any questions you may have about what I did as I hope to help others!

xxx

mrsb0710 · 22/03/2015 17:25

missmrs so happy that you got your bfp. I've been at DH to.cut down on coffee and we've been eating much more healthier food, and less sugar. FX it helps.
Grin and best wishes for the next 8 months.

victoria401 · 22/03/2015 17:25

Went to the place in New York Where Harry met Sally. It was awful! Speciality was hot dogs which were tasteless and the loos were really hard to find and then the door was broke and I had to hold it with my foot. Also went to the cafe in Paris where Amelie worked, nasty place too with one of those hole in the floor toilets i judge places mainly on toilets

No idea how I will announce a pregnancy! I will defo be telling as many people as possible in person. Not sure if it even needs to go on fb. I will obviously tell my friends and colleagues in RL and my mum and MIL will spread the news like wildfire around the relatives. You lot will know on here. Why would I want my old school mates/ex colleagues and the other rabble of people I don't know why I follow to know?! Lol!

victoria401 · 22/03/2015 17:29

Can I ask with the vits, b complex and evening primrose, do you only take them certain days in the cycle/

Cariad2014 · 22/03/2015 17:29

Enormous congratulations MissMrs - you must be over the moon! I am SO delighted for you. Here's to a very happy and healthy eight months GrinFlowers

Thanks for sharing your stats. It's interesting how cutting out caffeine and dairy may have helped.

spinningirl10 · 22/03/2015 17:37

Victoria, you only take epo until ov.

Dojo, oh your poor nephew being poorly. It's horrid when they're sick, you coped with it really well, what a lovely Aunty you are. And Easter bonnet making, what funSmile

Missmrs, great stats. I wish it could be pinpointed as to what gives us a bfp when we've been trying for ages. You wonder if it could have come from diet change/vitamins or was it just pure fluke!
Anyway I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Mary, pleased it's sinking in nowSmile

Purdey, ah I think it's lovely you've been given advice. You give so much of your knowledge and help on here and are always so much fun. It's good to see you too can benefit from some clever ladies Smile

Hi everyone! Back from a few days away, tried to catch up on here and delighted to hear of all the BFPs!! Smile massive congrats to you lucky ladies!! Flowers
Sorry to those AF got, hope you're all doing ok.
How's everyone on the TWW? I'm about 7 dpo and no symptoms at all, though trying not to symptom spot either!

loopylou1984 · 22/03/2015 18:06

I'm either 6dpo according to FF, but more likely 4dpo as per Purdeys advice. No symptoms yet. Obviously!

We have done gardening all day! I'm shattered! Xx

ThePug · 22/03/2015 18:07

Just popping on quickly to say Purdey FF have now moved my crosshairs to CD18, from CD16. Thanks for having words with them and telling them the error of their ways. We all now agree I'm 5dpo, yawn.

ThePug · 22/03/2015 18:14

Haha Sammy I'm sure someone from FF will be monitoring this thread and get themselves in line with what Queen P says soon!

Hairstylisttoboris · 22/03/2015 18:15

Oh missmrs thanks for your info. Did you take vit b all this cycle and EPO up to OV only (as advised up thread?). As someone else wise said a few posts ago it would be great if we knew what made the difference, chance, vitamins, timing etc. how do you feel? X
