Badb I am so sorry the droid got you. Post holiday blues doesn't help. If possible, when the droid arrives, I give myself half day to cry and be pissed off and miserable and feel sorry for myself. Fuck being stoic, I say. And I also think it's good for the marriage/relationship, that all the reason for upsetness and tears are out there, instead of trying to be all brave and then fall to pieces a couples of weeks later 'for no reason'.

Yeah, man. Warm baguette with milk chocolate is the biz! I usually eat quite healthily (I love cooking ) but now and then the sugar monster will rear its head and I will go a bit crazy. I think it's anxiety related to be honest, but doesn't happen that often because I try not to buy stuff I shouldn't eat. Nothing worse than a sugar comedown to put me on a terrible mood.

HOWEVER. That baguette was gorgeous. All nice and doughy and warm... It sneaked its way into my shopping basket because I made a really nice lentil and spinach soup for lunch. But then it made friends with the milk chocolate that was hiding in the pantry... and you know the rest. IT MEANT NOTHING, IT'S THE LENTILS I LOVE!

Fab It's really yummy actually, it's basically this one, but without the bacon! I add a couple of potatoes when I feel I need some stooge!

I hate the drucks. I hate mixing the cetrotide, I hate the fucking air bubbles, I hate injecting with a syringe and that I have to push to get it through the skin and that it bloody hurts. I hate the hideous spots it has given me (seriously, it's volcano city all over my face ) and the insomnia and knackeredness. And I hate that I got to the clinic at 7.40 and there were already 5 people queuing in front of me . However, there are another 7 people behind me and it's only 8 now...
And DCW is all 'so will we know today when we need to go in? I need to tell work' NO! For the millionth time, we might find out something helpful but equally we might not. How do you still not understand this frustrating process of uknowns?!?!

Might need to put my headphones in and listen to some woo! My acupuncturist said my pulse was incredibly calm last night, she couldn't work out why I wasn't more stressed!

Looks amazing! My body reacts somewhat explosively with lentils unfortunately. The higher the lentil percentage the more scary my arse becomes. Don't even put a dhal anywhere near me!. I'm very sad about this as one of my favourite comforting soups when I was little was a red lentil soup my auntie used to make (we knew she was posh as she always used to sprinkle chopped up parsley on the top! ). It was delish but the thought of it scares me a little now....

Thanks Erica and rain. I know it only takes one, but it's scary odds. Feeling very teary tonight. DCW helpfully said that worrying about it for the next 4 days wouldn't help. No fucking shit. Probably a good job he's now out training . I spoke to the office manager and told him I'd be off Monday and I'd work from home on Tuesday. Not going to be a martyr. Apparently it comes under the pregnancy rules and will be paid leave, so that's a bonus given my very ungenerous sickness allowance (1 week paid sick leave a year!!!)

We're going on the IOTO vibe tonight hags. Not best news from the clinic today, only 1 egg fertilised, it's being transferred tomorrow. I'm hoping like hell this little guy's a fighter.
