Ok, so I went out and got a stick to pee on. Haven't done it yet, the house is chaos and the two smallies are about to be put in the bath by their nanny which doesn't make for a calm environment to pee and deal with disappointment or shock. So I'll do it when things calm down and I have a few moments to myself.

Side note, I feel quite ill on and off. Feels familiar this muzzy rough feeling. If this isn't a BFP I will never symptom speculate again. You can hold me to that.

Droflove · 01/04/2015 15:41

That above post sounds ridiculous, like I'm a lady of leisure! I have a nanny cos I work full time and its cheaper than childminder! I'm supposed to be working now rather than checking baby name sites and posting on here. Gotta get back to it for another hour and a half.

ispyfispi · 01/04/2015 16:33

Good luck Dro! I shall be checking back frequently. Sounds like a BFP on the way Wink and good luck getting any work done!

AvaAmulet · 01/04/2015 16:33

Lol, Dro! Grin

I'm feeling like every single 'symptom' is magnified during this 2WW - I'm going totally crazy!

I too have been googling symptoms, and baby names when I should be doing more important things... like sleeping on a work night Blush DD has been repeating 'Baby sister' for several weeks now, over and over. She sometimes adds the name 'Kate' to the end (no idea where that's come from?!) So I thought I'd better start looking up girl names that complement DD's name.... I have definitely lost the plot (and lots of sleep) this month.... Confused

Roll on Friday!!! Blush

Droflove · 01/04/2015 16:57

Well, I did the test, clear blue digital. And how cruel are those tests! The bugger took ages to come up and then said just 'pregnant' for ages so it could have gone either way saying 'not' or the '1-2'. Finally it said '1-2'. Holy balony!! Now I'm totally mortified to tell anyone ever as our little ones are only 26 mts and 6 mts. My mum is going to kill me!

peardrop2 · 01/04/2015 17:06

Yay, congratulations Dro Smile woohoo!

I'm out. AF has arrived. Gutted...again. Next cycle will be 6mths of serious TTC. Now feels like a year. To make things worse I don't have any AF products or wine. Tempted to put DS in the buggy and go for a walk to drown my sorrows. However wine won't solve my problem Hmm Looks I'm officially stopping bf then!

Pear Wine Cake Flowers you deserve everyone my dear

Droflove · 01/04/2015 17:17

Aw Pear. Was really hoping for your bfp. For me cutting back the feeds was the key to ov and steady cycles. Hugs and wine for you.

peardrop2 · 01/04/2015 17:21

Dro, I've tried cutting down. I'm down to 1 feed. I would actually have to stop completely. My mum was right. I'm never going to get pregnant whilst bf. I wish I had stopped last month now Confused

So, I've signed up to be a Clearblue tester for their product development projects. I was waiting to find out about AF before signing the contract. I'll send it in the post tomorrow. I'm not keen on the idea of storing wee in my fridge on a daily basis but I'm also not keen on paying for any more sticks! I don't know what they will send me but it will be free and I'll get a free pregnancy test too. I'm now also thinking about weaning DS from tomorrow morning or at least this weekend. I'll certainly be drinking a few glasses of wine this weekend to help ease the disappointment. Although I'd much rather have a BFP Sad

Congrats Dro, I knew it! Although also ?? you'll be one of those lovely ladies with a baby and a bump while I'm wondering how?!?
Sorry Pear ?? surely your turn soon. ??

peardrop2 · 01/04/2015 19:31

Ispy - you'd bloody think wouldn't you Confused

It is definitely a man who designed AF! Wth is the point of cramps before things even start? Cramps started at 4:30pm and then a couple of very light spotting whilst cramps continue. So annoying how slow it is to start properly!

Sorry ladies I am pretty angry tonight....can you tell Grin

OP posts:
AvaAmulet · 01/04/2015 19:52

So happy for Dro, congratulations Grin

So disappointed for you, Pear Sad

peardrop2 · 01/04/2015 20:01

Thanks Ava Smile I'm disappointed too. Gutted that my LP didn't make 11 days!

ispyfispi · 01/04/2015 20:44

Pear it really is so unfair that you have to stop bf. I'm sure you and your lo will be just fine but I'm ?? for you!

Thanks ladies, really appreciate the support.

Ruth - I won't be able to see my results but I will get a free cb product to test ovulation and free pregnancy tests. After paying for 6 months worth of sticks I really feel this is the most sensible plan financially!

I'm seriously thinking of pulling the plaster off and stopping bf in the morning. Feeling so sad about it but also don't want to drag it on any longer. DH will be home tomorrow morning at 6am so the plan is he's just going to take ds downstairs and distract him with tv Sad

Aww Pear, at least you know you've given DS a lovely transition over this last month Flowers
