Ava, anymore symptoms? I have greasy pre AF skin, sore boobs and a very very dry mouth. Sounds delightful doesn't it Grin

Oh and I'm having to go to the toilet a lot more this week. I'm actually a bit concerned about that one. If I'm not pregnant then I might have a sudden problem Blush

Pear, this evening my sore boobies came back with a vengeance - not too bad now after a (not hot) bath. The awful cramps eased up by early evening but then I just felt queasy, stuffy and woolly headed, like I was coming down with something and I could barely keep my eyes open. The last couple of hours though have been completely normal - I just got a burst of energy and got all my chores done in no time Confused

I usually get cramps the day of AF and, as she has yet to arrive, I'm really hoping it's implantation as that'd coincide with today's lower temps fx.

Rosie, back last August I got static smilies for 3 days in a row the same month (a very light) AF returned for the first time. That was the first time I posted here to ask the lovely, helpful ladies what the heck was going on. Since then all I seemed to get was negative opks, both on cheapies and digis so I stopped using them for a month or so. BUT this month, following my first 'proper' AF I got a half-strong line one day, followed by a stronger line the next day (stronger than the control line) and then another half-strong line the day after (this was the day I actually ov'd according to my temps. HTH at all x

Ava, when will you test?

AvaAmulet · 31/03/2015 23:12

I'm testing Friday, are you still testing tomorrow, Pear?

Have you/ when are you going to poas, Dro?

Mumof1sofar · 31/03/2015 23:54

Mumof1sofar · 31/03/2015 23:55

I've been told that hgc levels double every couple of days or so in early pregnancy - test again Friday (or tomorrow Wink)

peardrop2 · 01/04/2015 07:58

Yes Ava I was very naughty to test so early Grin I said Friday originally. Dh is away until then anyway! It's good news that I've made it to 10 days with my previous 9 LP!

OP posts:
Mumof1sofar · 01/04/2015 08:07

Ahh pear - definitely test again on Fri. Which test did you use?

I'm cd14 today & I've just got my 4th flashing smiley in a row!!Confused

peardrop2 · 01/04/2015 08:11

I used the Superdrug twin pack that can supposedly detect BFP 4 days early.

I am very confused about these smiley sticks you ladies are using! They must have improved them since I brought them with ds. I'm sure with mine you only got one smiley and that was it. Perhaps I remember them differently. It was 3 years a go!

And I tested on a Ic Blush

OP posts:
Droflove · 01/04/2015 09:44

My 10dpo test was negative too pear. I'm still here, wondering where AF is. I guess I'm 15dpo today. Trying desperately not to get my hopes up.

Droflove · 01/04/2015 09:53

I'm getting such niggles and pains for about 3 days now. I really would have thought af would have started by now as the pains should have indicated the beginning of the lining coming away right? Or what causes normal period pains?

Mumof1sofar · 01/04/2015 10:23

Dro poas!!!

Pear I've got the digital dual hormone one - it measures estrogen & your LH surge. So flashing smiley means high fertility & fixed means peak fertility. I think you only get peak when it detects the lh surge so I'm waiting for that atm!

auroraboringalis · 01/04/2015 12:48

rosie I've twice gotten two days of positive OPKs. My gut feeling is that I'm actually ovulating on the second positive day, presuming I'm ovulating at all! Hmm Might just be well-timed and defined surges but no ovulation actually taking place. Which is why, if I don't conceive this month, I'm going to try soy next cycle. Also presuming my lp gets to beyond five days this time. Aaa-aaaa-aah. all teary I am Sorry I've digressed. Yes, to answer your question, I've had two days of positives! Smile

peardrop2 · 01/04/2015 12:54

Yes Dro test!!

OP posts:
Onecurrantbun · 01/04/2015 13:11

Rosie when I fell pregnant with DD2 I notice the opks got gradually darker for a few days and then I had one almost positive, followed by the next day a 'true positive' i.e. the test line visibly darker than the control line.

AF has arrived!!!! Never been so happy to see her after 15m breastfeeding. I think we may trynntnlfor a few months as a baby would be a blessing anytime but in an ideal world we would rather the gap be a weenie bit bigger!

Mumof1sofar · 01/04/2015 14:32

Glad you've got af back one (don't say that v often!)

Aurora sorry to hear you are feeling down Thanks

RosieRue52 · 01/04/2015 15:16

Drof POAS!!!
One congrats on AF (lol)
Aurora Flowers I hope you cheer up soon

Thanks for the info ladies!!

I had 2 days of positive & the line was slightly lighter today soo I'm assuming I'm 1dpo....we dtd monday night & this am, not a lot I know but I stopped the opks & only started again when I noticed ewcm. We shall see!

AvaAmulet · 01/04/2015 15:20

Aurora, I had six months of crazy cycles, not even knowing if I was actually ovulating (even though AF kind returned), and short luteal phases when I thought I might have been... Flowers

DRO, POAS!!! Grin

I would soooo be testing incessantly by now if I were you! But I am a self-confessed poas addict Hmm

AvaAmulet · 01/04/2015 15:25

That should read 'AF kind of returned'...

Pleased for you, One! Great that you'd rather a bigger age gap - I wanted the shorter the better but it has taken a while for my cycles to return properly. Good luck Grin x
