Mumo, I guess my new stats are (I'm on cd6) bfp due 4th April and I'm thinking this is my first proper AF? This month it's been exactly like it was before being pg (5/6 days of moderate-heavy bleeding) and every month before this, for the last 6 months, has been just 3/4 days of light-ish bleeding. If we conceived this cycle our due date would be 13th December! Oh the irony if that happened...Blush We are now getting some good 4 hour gaps without feeds during the day, and 6 hour stretches boob-free during the night, so I'm hoping this is enough to ovulate. I am now on a mission to chart bbt, dtd eod, and poas twice a day (ov sticks still haven't arrived yet though Sad) x

AvaAmulet · 13/03/2015 11:12

Hope you're having a better day today, Mary Flowers x

Pear, I think it's amazing you've dtd eod as much as you have (I'm exhausted just thinking about my plan to do this...) and I'm so frustrated for you, it's just not fair Sad x

MarysPrayer · 13/03/2015 12:00

Thanks ava. I;'e just noticed that dd has one of her final four molars just coming through. That explains a lot! How's your dd?

pear you are a real trouper to carry on as you have. I must be so frustrating. You so deserve that bfp!

MarysPrayer · 13/03/2015 12:10

Sorry for typos! Blush

peardrop2 · 13/03/2015 12:55

Aww ladies, thanks for your support ThanksThanks I was going to say that 5 times out of 8 days isn't very much but actually it is isn't it Blush DH has managed to pop home at lunchtime and as DS is poorly in bed it has worked out. The doctor says he has a bug, possibly throat infection, poor bubs Sad TMI alert!!!! I was going to skip DtD today until I spotted Ewcm!!! How excited am I about this!! Blush I really really hope this means that I may peak tomorrow. Also noticed that this mornings second line looks darker and possibly a tiny tiny bit darker...uber exciting and gave me the kick up the arse to get going again!!

Ava, don't worry...once you see signs of a possible Ov looming you will somehow have the momentum to get going with your Dtd mission! Never fails to motivate Wink

Oh Mary, your poor dd Hmm I keep meaning to give my DS a cold flannel to chew on. Might try that one this afternoon when he wakes up.

peardrop2 · 13/03/2015 13:18

Hmmmm just looking at the cm chart on baby centre website I may have got my cm analysis wrong Blush not sure it is Ewcm after all as it wasn't clear Blush Lol how am I so rubbish at this...still. Oh well, at least it gave me momentum to Dtd Wink

AvaAmulet · 13/03/2015 14:55

Hi Mary, Your poor DD - it must be agony for her, poor little thing Sad My DDs last 4 teeth all started erupting about a month ago (cue mammoth feeding sessions) they're not completely through yet, but they're not bothering her since the initial eruption. Hope your DD feels better soon x

My DD is still a little chesty, but her cold is drying up Smile x

Pear, some women don't have any EWCM and they still conceive. I'm concerned about my almost complete lack of it so my sister keeps reminding me that she conceived her DD without it Wink

peardrop2 · 13/03/2015 15:03

Gosh Ava I'm not sure I could talk about EWCM with my sister Blush

OP posts:
AvaAmulet · 13/03/2015 17:08

Nor did we before we embarked on our ttc journeys! lol Blush it's only my sister and DH in RL who I can talk to about anything ttc related. My mother thought we were putting dc #2 on hold due to finances (I wish) and when I said I'm not sure if I'm ovulating she said "okay, okay, I don't need to know..." Our poor mother has always been quite embarrassed about bodily functions so my sis and I have become quite the opposite - nothing seems to faze us now, haha Grin ... our mother would be appalled... Blush

Mumof1sofar · 13/03/2015 20:58

Sorry for the poorly/teething bubbas Thanks

Somebody give me a slap! I'm 5/6 dpo & can't stop symptom spotting, despite promising myself that I wouldn't do this! I know it's so homely I'd be pg cycle 1 & think I may be setting myself up for a fall. So far I've been more clumsy than normal, and felt quite emotional. I also felt a bit faint this morning before eating breakfast.

Mumof1sofar · 13/03/2015 20:58
  • unlikely not homely!!
peardrop2 · 13/03/2015 21:09

Awww Mumofone Smile I don't think I can slap someone who wants a baby real bad, nothing wrong with clutching straws IMO! We need another BFP. Hopefully the weekend will distract your mind Wink

peardrop2 · 14/03/2015 05:35

Who is highly fertile for 9 DAYS???? Seriously, who?????? Oh yeah, that would be me ?? Day 9 in the stupid highly fertile house and I am so ready to throw the cbfm out of the window.

specialk1980 · 14/03/2015 12:37

Hi ladies. Can I join? Am still BFing my 1 year old boob monster DS, but desperate to start TTC. Have tried to cut down on night feeds, but very little success so far, and he hardly eats any solids so feeds most of the day too. Needless to say, no sign of AF returning yet. I tried to see an acupuncturist (fertility specialist) about it, as I want to try everything I can before cutting off his milk, but she told me that there's no point until I stop BFing. DS wasn't planned, so have no experience of TTC and am getting worried that it won't be anything like as easy this time around...

peardrop2 · 14/03/2015 12:39

I've decided that I will deffo stop bf in the morning when AF appears Hmm Poor DS, he asked for milk in the night and I had to refuse when he's poorly Sad That's the first time I've refused a random feed when he's poorly. It would actually be ALOT easier to just not feed him now as I'm just confusing matters by saying morning only to him! So I'll stop feeding at 7am end of March, start temping in April, maybe skip Dtd in April depending how I feel but will go for it for sure in May!

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 14/03/2015 12:43

Hi special ?? I think I'm the worst person to talk to as I too am convinced that I will have to stop feeding all together before I can ovulate. Keep in mind that even if AF does return you need to then lay an egg too Wink However, millions seem to be able to bf and fall pregnant so it's deffo possible for some out there! I guess the question is, how long are you prepared to wait?

OP posts:
specialk1980 · 14/03/2015 12:56

Thanks pear! I have in my mind that I really want to have a BFP by September. Feel as though it's likely to take ages though, as my cycle was all over the place before DS. I just don't know how to even begin getting DS to cut down - he still feeds at least 10x a day when he's with me, and won't be distracted. Am going to give it another month or two before I really try to do anything re feeding, as we have our first long haul flight in May and I'm not sure that I can face doing that without BFing to calm him! Might try some B6 in the meantime.

MarysPrayer · 14/03/2015 13:29

Afternoon everyone, welcome specialk Smile

I hope all the poorly dcs are getting better. We had a grumpy dd this morning - thankfully she's napping now though so fx for a better afternoon.

Pear I don't know what's going on with those opks. Maybe your body is super-fertile because you've dropped the feeds?!

8dpo here, no physical symptoms to report, feeling tired and grumpy though. nothing unusual about that

Mumof1sofar · 14/03/2015 14:09

Hi all. Welcome special.

Pear if you do stop bf-ing I hope you'll still check in on us now & again! Definitely want to know when you get your bfp Smile

Dd is unwell so I haven't had too much sleep- feeling so tired today.

peardrop2 · 14/03/2015 14:10

Mary - I think you're right. I've given myself a slap today. Need to stop obsessing and except it is what it is. Mother's Day tomorrow. All our Dc have to be in a good mood right? It's the law Grin

OP posts:
MarysPrayer · 14/03/2015 14:14

Definitely pear Smile I've already opened my card after dd revealed that she'd hidden it under the sofa! Bless her. Grin

peardrop2 · 14/03/2015 14:32

I'm craving M&S caterpillar sweets. Is that a pre OV symptom? Lol and wraps...I really want to cook wraps tonight. I don't even know the recipe Wink

OP posts:
MarysPrayer · 14/03/2015 14:39

If craving sweets is a symptom then I've been pregnant for the last 30 years! Grin What sort of wraps are you gonna cook?
It's take away night here. I so would like to have some wine with it .. . .

Mumof1sofar · 14/03/2015 15:12

Pasta for us tonight! What's everyone doing for Mother's Day tmrw? We are going out for lunch. I've already had some nice flowers Thanks
