hope the bleeding isn't too heavy imps , I have evreything crossed that its implette getting comfy. are you planning on testing with an FRER soon, or will you wait until OTD?
Excellent display for cat as always Smile

I also have the slightly less sore boobs, but that could just be a sign that the trigger shot has gone from my body. I'm also sleeping really well, hopefully I have the opposite of loopy's preggo insomnia.

Who was is who mentioned instagram, for seeing gorgeous pics of maybe and A? Would you like to explain this new-fangled invention to me? :o

Imps9 · 10/03/2015 09:39

It was a FRER this morning Beedles and it could not have been more negative.

Never mind, it WILL work next time and I am brooking no argument.

Imps9 · 10/03/2015 09:41

Although of course there won't be a next time as I will get my FUFC BFP this month.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 10/03/2015 09:55

Damn your faulty pee-sticks imps Sad I'm sorry

keepitgoing · 10/03/2015 11:30

oh bugger imps I'm so sorry, but not giving up on implette yet Thanks

cartoontrickster · 10/03/2015 13:16

Sad imps what happens now?
just realised maybe might not have liked me saying that she uses instragram, sorry maybe . I open mouth before engaging brain a lot Blush .
beedle it's solely for posting photos and videos you can comment on people's pics though. I love it.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 10/03/2015 13:30

imps I just realised that you're only 12dpec, I had decided that was going to be too early for me to be sure about teh result from an FRER (easy to say when I'm only 7dpec). I'm sure I've read that the implantation window is from 5dpo to 12dpo.

Imps9 · 10/03/2015 14:00

I have a pretty short LP anyway Beedle so it all seems about normal.

We will have a consultation at some point and then hopefully start the next cycle in around May - I think they like you to have 2 complete non-druggy cycles before starting the next. Hopefully next time we can resolve the poor response issue and I will have gazillions of eggs and trillions of top grade blastos to choose from.

OP posts:
BeedlesPineNeedles · 10/03/2015 14:31

Oh I see imps I guess there isn't much hope then, but I'm glad you have a plan for the future. My clinic let me book the next round as soon as I phoned on OTD to say it was negative - I think that really helped me. But I think a review meeting is also useful, especialy if they are willing to try different/more drugs next time.
Of course you won't need it as you'll get you're ironic FUFC BFP in the next couple of months Smile

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/03/2015 14:50

I'm still holding out some hope for you lovely Imps. But I am beyond sure that they will tweak everything to get the sparkliest of faberge eggs ever.

Don't be daft Trix!! I don't mind at all Wink

Runningupthathill82 · 10/03/2015 17:00

Sorry to hear that, Imps. But of course you will get your BFP next month, with or without treatment.

Pee sticks round my way are terribly faulty soon, just one line showing even though I am patently, blatantly as pregnant as can be.

Imps9 · 10/03/2015 18:54

Running you appear to have purchased bum sticks rather than pee sticks I think. They will confirm that you have a bum (or, who knows?, maybe they won't) but unfortunately they will not confirm that you are well and truly knocked up. It's a harsh lesson, but one that will get you far in this TTC game.

Bleeding has continued all day so I have waved "ta ta" to Implette (or, as Mr I and I lovingly called her, Embryo One). I have put the wood burner on, have got into my PJs and onesie, have a small glass of wine to my right and my crochet on my lap. A pretty decent night all things considered. Mr I is staying away tonight - I had contemplated not telling him about Embryo One's departure until he got back tomorrow but I think I will tell him tonight - he needs to know and I don't think it has to be face to face.

Hope everyone's okay - Beedles how are you feeling?? And Pasta am assuming you are now with babe in arms...??

Pastamancer · 10/03/2015 18:54

Imps it isn't over until the fat lady sings and I have no plans to sing any time soon.

Pastamancer · 10/03/2015 19:23

No baby here, I had my second sweep today and have been booked in for induction on the 18th. I've been quite sore today but no contractions as yet.

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 10/03/2015 20:41

imps - that sounds as nice a night as possible. Glad Mr Imps will be back tomorrow. And, for what it is worth, agree that telling him tonight is a good idea.

Go! Go! Go! Babypasta!

beedle - hope you and the mini Beedles are doing fine.

All fine here. I went to a tesco extra near us today. Nornally think that tesco ate the devil's minions bit was lured by a £13 what a random number off voucher. I can report that they had no clear blue digitalis or FRERs. I think they have all been recalled for being rubbish - bad batches.

Fox28 · 10/03/2015 20:45

Oh imps I'm so sorry to hear about Implette/Embryo One. Your positive attitude really inspires me though, and you'll get your BFP soon. I know it. Fo sho.

Congrats to Gob! Glad you're starting to believe those pee sticks!

Come on Pasta's baby!! We've all been waiting long enough!

I've been feeling down today as DD has a fever. She had a temp of almost 40 last night, and I feel like I should be able to help her. I feel like mums are supposed to know these things, but I feel like a fraud as I'm never confident in what I'm doing and feel as though DD deserves more. I hate seeing her so poorly.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 11/03/2015 07:18

Hope you had a nice evening in front of the fire imps

pasta I hope you don't have to wait too much longer for mini-macaroni to make an appearance.

running are you sure you should be running up hills in your condition? you may have to cahnge your name soon!

Nothing really to report here, I've been feeling slightly crampy but that could be due to my ovaries returning to their correct size. I managed to put my belt back on my jeans again today :o

Runningupthathill82 · 11/03/2015 07:33

Beedles - you could well be right. My dodgy maths and imperfect data recording makes me 7dpo, which is obviously far too heavily pregnant to be running anywhere.
Definitely got bum pee sticks though, as Imps said. They're still saying negative even with the first pee of the morning which should really be impossible in my heavily diffed state.

Hope you had a nice relaxing night in , Imps, and got some sleep.

Fox - I know what you mean about feeling helpless. DS (2) is ill at the moment and I didn't think it was anything worse than a sniffle til nursery sent him home saying they were v worried about his chest. I should've realised, right? But no.

It's like I'm a bad imposter of a mother.

keepitgoing · 11/03/2015 08:16

fox temps are horrid and scary too when they're little... I suppose you're just alternating calpol and ibuprofen. if the temp doesn't come down with them then the dr will be happy to see you to check - we've been lots esp when she was teeny. Mine has a constant stream of illnesses since she started nursery, it's exhausting. When she's not ill she's like a ray of sunshine again and it makes me feel bad that she's not like that all the time.

beedle make the most of wearing your belt as it will be 9 months before it'll go on again

running i love how quickly you are getting in to the brooking spirit. I'm sorry your pee sticks are not showing diffed, though in anyone's book that is rather early Wink

gob faulty pee sticks withdrawn? at least someone is recognising there are so many out there! All us brookers seem to get a disproportionate amount of them...

babypasta enough is enough. come out come out

imps i'm sorry mrImps was away, but hope your night was ok, sounds v relaxing x

Fox28 · 11/03/2015 09:01

running - find a better pee stick! Why do you keep insisting on using faulty ones?! Hope your ds feels better soon. And that's exactly how I feel - like an imposter of a mother!

keep I decided to take dd to the gp yesterday, as her cold has lasted 2.5 weeks, but she's now getting worse rather than better so thought it best to get her seen. He checked her over and said she should be fine, but didn't make me feel bad for going. He advised to give ibroprofen and paracetamol together and when I questioned exactly what this meant, ie do I give one, then the other after 2 hours, then alternate every 2 hours, he said no, literally at the same time the first dose?! Then he said one of them you can give every 3 hours and the other every 4. Is this not right?? Up until then I'd just been giving her ibroprofen.

keepitgoing · 11/03/2015 09:22

fox yes you can give them together, and i tend to do that at bedtime. Basically over a 24 hour period you can give ibuprofen 3 times, and calpol up to 4 times. You cannot keep up the 3/4 hour thing all day and night as that is too high a dose. I think your GP was saying over the course of the day you can give every 3 hours, or 4 hours, but you need to take into account the night. I prefer to alternate as then you get the effects more frequently iyswim. with us, temp tends to drop after medication, then rise, then drop when i give more etc.

keepitgoing · 11/03/2015 09:26

PS glad she's ok

Imps9 · 11/03/2015 10:03

Sorry to hear about all the poorly kiddiewinks - must be pretty draining to look after grumpy unwell littl'uns. Brooking that they're back to full volume health soon.

Hmmm even the very best brooking hasn't produced a BFP at 7dpo Running (not that I can think of anyway). Just a few more days to wait though! Have you redecorated the nursery yet? You'd better get cracking, the clock is ticking.

Mr I was fine when I told him about AF last night - disappointed, obvs, but fine. We're both looking forward to having The Sex again if nothing else - it's been two months nearly!! Nightmare.

Halfway through the week then - the weekend cannot come fast enough. God I'm bored with my job. Must start really trying to figure out what else I can do.

OP posts:
Fox28 · 11/03/2015 10:28

Ah ok thanks keep. I gave her both at the same time at 6pm last night, then nothing until 7:45am when I gave her both again. So at least I've not been overdosing her! She slept the best she's ever slept last night, but I can't really celebrate as it is most likely due to being poorly!

Glad Mr I was ok Imps. Good news you can enjoy The Sex again! I'm so clueless, I didn't know you couldn't while doing ivf

keepitgoing · 11/03/2015 10:51

Yes, S always sleeps for ages when she's ill... Of course then I'm worrying about her fitting or whatever. Anyway

bring on sexy time then imps, that's your bright side.
