We will get there. We will all of us get there. And we will brook no argument.

Running I'm glad to see you are getting into the brooking spirit. You are clearly diffed and we know that there are lots of faulty pee sticks for sale out there.

Imps I would love to say yes but alas nothing is happening here other than lots of wriggling. 4 days overdue today so still potentially over a week to go Sad

Imps9 · 09/03/2015 13:45

I was just Google searching about boobs (more on that later) when I happened upon this which made me chuckle - what wonderful communication this couple has...

I was wanting to do something neat like send DH a private facebook message with a picture of the test, but I couldn't wait. I came right out of the bathroom, asked him to pause the video game, and stuck the test in front of his face, LoL.

I must remember when I get my Implette BFP to send Mr I a FB message even if he is in the next room.

Now, back to the boobs - mine have stopped hurting completely - I mean completely. They've been sore since I started on the fanjo cream which I'm still on - does the lack of pain now mean it's not working or something???

Running I have NEVER seen someone as diffed as you. Well done love - you've completely nailed it.

How often have you been poking them to see if they hurt Imps?

When I had my BFP with DD I made the mistake of trying to tell DH when he was on the playstation. Not a good idea as it makes for a grumpy DH and takes the shine off the BFP.

cartoontrickster · 09/03/2015 13:57

dh is happy to go for when I am keep. neither of us see N as bring an only child. we probably will at least wait until June/july though , unless we have an "accident" before that Grin. because after all when we conceived N we were slightly very pissed and not actually ttc.
I do worry how I will cope with 2 though, I tend to be very hard on myself and often think that I could do better. I've had times when I feel like I've been a crap mum but N is happy and healthy so I guess I can't be going far wrong.
is anyone else on instragram? I get to see pics of the lovely maybe and A all the time on there Smile

Imps9 · 09/03/2015 14:15

A subtle prod here and there Pasta and some very energetic bounding up and down the stairs. No pain or discomfort at all.

Law of Boob:

Sore boobs = diffed
No sore boobs = diffed

keepitgoing · 09/03/2015 14:30

imps i actually think that boobs can hurt or not hurt and that doesn't mean a thing. The drugs you are on are masking everything. So really all you can do is wait. It's horrible I know. Jeez wtf why would you text someone who is in the next room. maybe we are just too old to understand these things Wink

beedle damn who put OTD on a friday. But then even if you wait till otd you'll be going to work (will you?) so that argument doesn't fly... I can see the benefits of waiting just to be sure, but dammit it's just too long! Anyway lovely, you can just wait and see how you both feel closer to the time.

Imps9 · 09/03/2015 15:14

I'm not worried about boobs hurting or not being associated with diffedness or otherwise, only whether or not the progesterone is absorbing properly, given that boobs started hurting as soon as I started using the cream and now they don't. Did any other IVFers have the same?

OP posts:
cartoontrickster · 09/03/2015 15:20

perhaps you boobs have just gotten used to the progesterone imps

keepitgoing · 09/03/2015 15:22

i can't remember imps but think it did fluctuate

Solars · 09/03/2015 15:26

Just a quick one from me to say Imps my boobs never really hurt going thru ivf and being on progesterone....will try and be back later.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/03/2015 16:18

Imps, my boobs didn't hurt till I was around 7 weeks. And even then it wasn't a constant thing.

Exciting times Trix. How are you feeling about it all?

Keep those rats had better be scared. You sound like you mean business.

Gob, I'll pack a bag Wink

Molotov · 09/03/2015 19:45

I'm feeling very broody today. My dd1 is a sweetheart; dd2 is adorable and hasn't had a meltdown since Wednesday and I'm seeing baby bumps and newborns everywhere. My girls played beautifilly together again today. I miss having a tiny bundle all beautifully wrapped in a pram and I've actually felt a little tearful today.

hinkyhonk · 09/03/2015 22:17

How did I never realise ics were that cheap? Just bought 30 Blush for £3.75. That is 12p each Shock

Imps9 · 09/03/2015 22:37

It's amazing isn't it Hinky!!! And sometimes they even work!!

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 10/03/2015 06:55

Morning all - yes, I am another huge fan of the IC

Speaking of those, they kept being positive. So I've done a FRER and a clear blue this morning as AF due. Both are very clear positives. So... looks like I may have written off Baby Evap abit soon Blush

DS off to nursery this afternoon do I'm going to get a clear blue digital and see what that says

I feel a bit freaked out. I'm a bit scared this could be ectopic and that's why I've not got a positive until now. Have read the frer insert and it says that you can get a bfp 6 days before AF due so why would I just be getting one now? The BFPs are very clear and came up very quickly.

Would I be totally mad to go to the doctor's and ask? I'm nornally not such a hypochondriac!

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 10/03/2015 06:57

I mean - go to the doctor to discuss the possibility of an ectopic ptegnancy. Not to discuss the frer insert generally!

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 10/03/2015 07:08

imps - re: boobs. I had terrible bloating and sore boobs with DS from about 10dpo. I remember doing a seminar thinking I was literally going to burst out of my clothes.

Then that disappeared about the time I got my bfp and came back later.

With DD - I had none of that

So - either sore boobs are not a pregnancy sign or you are having a girl!

hinkyhonk · 10/03/2015 07:10

Firstly congratulations! Great news!

Do you have any pain that might be associated with an ectopic pg? Is it just the slow appearance of a favourable pee stick? It could be that ovulation was a bit later and so it hasn't shown up as quickly. And really all the tests are only 99% accurate if you do it in the first day of your missed period so that would be today. I think the accuracy rate at 6 days before is about 50% or something so you could only be getting positive result now. Am sure it's fine but if you are worried then you could make an appt to get the pg officially confirmed and discuss it then.

Having said that I've been having light cramps in the womble so I've convinced myself that I either am pregnant and this is implantation (and very early womb stretching going on) or I've got an ectopic pregnancy or I've got wind. Sadly I think the later is most likely...

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 10/03/2015 07:22

No pains and feel quite well. I'm just totally confused re: what is going on and the fact that my obsessive testing was disrupted by the weekend at my parents I looked back on the thread and saw that I thought that I had also got a positive OPK on the friday (after thinking it was positive on the Tuesday)

Have asked DH for his views and he says he nornally tells patients that the least worrying explanation is normally the reason for their concerns. So the least worrying would be late ovulation, as you say.

I don't have any pain but will keep an eye out for things and trot off to EPU or GP. Too early for a scan but I think they would do bloods and check.

Can't believe you think you have wind. You are clearly diffed!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 10/03/2015 07:28

cat congratulations, I knew they couldn't all be evap lines :o

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/03/2015 07:52

Brilliant news Gob!!! Amazing news. I too think you probably ov'd late. You've also got to remember that tests are qualitative rather than quantitative. As long as you are pain free, I really wouldn't worry. How exciting GrinFlowers

How you doing Imps? Beedle?

Imps9 · 10/03/2015 08:29

Good morning lovelies!

Another bum stick this morning and bleeding which I would have thought would be an impossibility in my heavily diffed state.

On the bright side, it does mean that I get to do this....

Bloody brilliant stuff Gob!!!! It is just a late showing clear BFP, think nothing more of it. I would suspect that if you went to GP they would not be able to do an awful lot - keep an eye on odd aches and pains and perhaps go to your local EPAU (cannot for the life of me remember if that's the right acronym) if things don't seen right.

But they WILL seem right and THAT IS THAT. Thanks

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 10/03/2015 08:50

Thank you lovely. I'm sorry to hear re: bleeding. Got everything crossed that it's implantation or something to do with the drugs. When do you go back to the clinic?

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 10/03/2015 08:51

Thank you maybe!

beedle - you are the sage of the pee sticks and I should have listened (and to everyone else!)
