Hooray Beedles! Great news but have some
for your poor bladder!
I've been posting on another thread recently about having a 3rd DC and one of the ladies on there advised using a calendar to mark out 'yes' and 'no' days for one month. Apparently, it's how her friend decided to go for dc4 after being undecided, as there were more 'Y's than 'N's on her calendar at the end of the month.
So I started my Y/N schtick on on Saturday. Saturday and Sunday were 'Y' days (DH doesn't work those days and life is sweet with him around
). However, yesterday and today were both a Y and N. Yesterday, I saw my friend who is a friend is expecting her 3rd baby in the summer and I cooed over her bump - I love pg/being pg (Y); Dd2 is growing tall that she is looking too long now in her buggy and I miss having a bundle all snug and tucked up tight (Y); both DDS played beautifully from 4-5pm after school (YYY).
It all went tits up from 5pm: tantrums, refusals and meltdowns (my own at 7pm
) (NNN). AF is due, turning me into an irritable, short-tempered, snapping shadow of my usual self. I didn't parent the tantrums well. I either need to get pg, or have contraception that kicks that AF mutha down!! I hate my PMS!
Today I was busy so didn't think about it much until one of the school mums rolled up with her beautiful, sleepy week-old baby. What a joyful sight! (Y). She looked so happy and I was so excited for her
But then dd2 missed her nap (my youngest girl still needs a 40-min afternoon snooze) and played up something rotten (NNN). I mean, I was frazzled by the end of it (NNN) (she went on in her rage-fuelled angst for almost 1hr before conking out in the car).
I'm still recovering. Very embarrassing as it was in front of MIL
(on my side but said how naughty dd2 is, which I feel is a reflection on my parenting).
So, what's that on balance? Going to need a few more days to work that out, I think.
