Hay ladies. So I'm 5/6 dpo today. The sides of my breasts started hurting when woke this morning especially if lying on them. Anyone else felt this during tww? I'm also feeling very tired but Iv been working night shifts this month so probably due to that. I usually get tender breasts just before af but to soon for that. Trying not to symptom stop but when something new happens can't help it lol.

Hi everyone hope you've all had a lovely bank hol?

Mama I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your words last week. I had my day of sitting on the sofa crying and then I read what you'd written, agreed with you wholeheartedly and I felt pretty ok again Tuesday and onwards. A bit of a miracle but I'm eternally grateful to you! Thank you everyone else for your encouragement it's so good to not feel completely alone!

Mama that must feel really good to take the pressure off for a while, and of course you'll want to enjoy your holiday! Are you going anywhere nice?

Hello to all the newer ladies on here too - you'll have worked out already that it's a friendly bunch on here :)

It's my final week at my workplace this week before I start my new job on Monday! Very scary after 11 years but looking forward to a new start :)

lildottie · 25/05/2015 23:32

hi all. just back from a weekend away.

mama I'm glad you have a plan you are both happy with. I know you will probably disappear off here a bit to keep your mind off things but remember we are here if/when you need us.

chopsface · 26/05/2015 18:27

Ooo where did you go lil? Me and dh are thinking of booking a weekend away somewhere soon to spend some quality couple time :-)

Welcome newbies :-) good luck in the 2ww lovely and Rachel

EllaBella1 · 26/05/2015 18:30

Hi ladies so hubs phoned gp about the second SA- gp said his SA results aren't in yet but the reason for the second SA referral is because our NHS region won't let them refer is until he has a second SA done even if his first SA is brilliant. So I'm sort of in limbo..... Do I go back to gp to discuss my satusfactory bloods and request a referral re scan or do I sit it out with hubs and then once all SA done we go back to GP together.... Mmmm! This ttc lark is confusing!

Rachelc82 · 26/05/2015 21:12

Thanks chops. 7 dpo now. Sore boobs on and off and nauseous feelings last evening and this evening. Hoping and praying this will be our month.

Lovelyjubbly95 · 26/05/2015 21:15

Thanks chops. Got a wk to wait....not going to test before... And don't know if I want to symptom watch or not....but I do hope this mth is our mth :(

Rachelc82 · 26/05/2015 21:43

Good luck to you lovely. Be nice if we can both get bfp's Smile. When is your OTD?

kiwiblue · 28/05/2015 10:00

Hi everyone, hope everyone is doing well and good luck to those in TWW!

We're approaching 2 years TTC now so I went to my GP and she has started doing the tests for referral. I'd already had day 3 bloods and DH had SA but now we have to do it all over again and I have to have a bunch of other blood tests too. Have done the day 23 progesterone one, I'm wondering if there will be something wrong with that but I'm trying not to think about it too much.

Other than that just carrying on with fingers crossed. Had a lovely weekend away in the Costwolds for bank holiday. :) Anyone else go away for it?

Mamama31 · 28/05/2015 15:17

Just popped on to see how everyone is! Laura I'm so glad your feeling a bit better. Such an emotional rollercoaster but everything you feel we have all felt at some point. You will always be strong enough to come out the other side- and you have proved that. Best of luck for starting your new job! You will do great and it will be a good distraction.

I'm going to Spain on my hols in July! I can not wait!

Lil thank you. I am actually feeling so much better since making the decision not to ttc for a couple of months. Our next fertility app is also not due until July so it really is time off everything ttc....well apart from some fun non-ttc dtd!!!! :) I'm so relieved not to be counting days and wishing my life away! but August will come quick enough and ill be back to the old routine again so determined to really, really enjoy myself the next couple of months and do lots of fun things. Being happy is my new priority for now :)

Good luck everyone ill check in again in a while x

tutsyflower · 28/05/2015 17:59

Hello it's been a while from I've posted. I'm driving myself crazy again I started my first cycle of clomid 50 mg this cycle started on the 1st of May major bloating around 11th to the 20th and sever pain in left overly area on the 16 th that lasted about 5-10 sec. So I tested today cd 28 and got a BFN surprise surprise. Sad my cycles are usually between 30 to 40 days does anyone think I still have a chance this cycle or an I quite frankly fucked for this cycle.

Lovelyjubbly95 · 30/05/2015 19:54

Rachel - wats OTD? Lol. :/

lildottie · 31/05/2015 00:32

otd = official test date

Lovelyjubbly95 · 31/05/2015 12:27

Thx lil. Otd is 5 june x

Rachelc82 · 31/05/2015 19:07

Well af just turned up 2 days early for me ??. Thats me on to cycle 11 now.

Itsme247 · 31/05/2015 21:07

Tenth month of TTC I'm 25 DH is 28, never thought it would be this difficult! This will be my first month of temping and opks- I have no idea what I'm doing!! CD 5 so right at the beginning - but my cycles vary from 25 - 32 days :(

lildottie · 31/05/2015 22:04

itsme sorry ur at this point. you need a bbt thermometer, not a normal one, and you should take temp at same time each morning or close as possible. use an app. fertility friend is very good. what opks are you using? the cheap strip tests can be done any time of day, best between 10am-8pm and not with fmu.

Itsme247 · 31/05/2015 22:41

Thanks lildottie, any tips recommended! Doctors were useless.. I've downloaded kindara as it's got a temp chart but I've used the app clue since we started trying. It's so hard having cycles that vary so much, 32 days is a lot longer than 25! I get so excited when I think I'm "late"

Itsme247 · 01/06/2015 06:16

Yep they're just cheap test strips, sorry what's fmu? The acronyms are a nightmare lol

lildottie · 01/06/2015 08:51

first morning urine Grin

Itsme247 · 01/06/2015 11:56

Ah! Makes sense now, hah. I never thought I would pay so much attention to CM and what day of the month it is! Anyone else testing at the end of June? This is my first time on the forum so thanks for being so welcoming!

Metalhead · 01/06/2015 16:09

Hi all, I'm just popping in to let those of you who remember me know that I had my 12 week scan today and all is well with mini-Metal! We got a good long look at him/her as the sonographer took a while to get the nuchal measurement. I still can't quite believe this is actually happening, but I guess I'd better get my head round it now!

Thanks for all your support ladies, I'll still be lurking ready to congratulate you all when you finally get your much deserved BFPs!

lildottie · 01/06/2015 18:57

hi metal! that's wonderful news! glad all is well!

MyBlackCat · 04/06/2015 13:58

Congratulations metal

I went for 21 day bloods at the doctors this morning, they took ALOT of blood - 4/5 dooh dahs (don't know the technical term) of it. What is all that for? I was told I was being tested for progesterone at previous doc appointment.I also had to provide a urine sample, didn't know I would need too, stupidly I never asked why. Anyone have any ideas what the urine test and all the blood samples are for? Thanks

kiwiblue · 05/06/2015 14:42

Hi MyBlackCat, I just had the same test done last week and they took a lot of blood too. My GP did show me the list of things that they need to test for prior to fertility referral. I can't remember all of them, but in addition to progesterone there was testosterone, prolactin and rubella.

I don't know what the urine test is for though, I haven't had that done!
